It appears that allegedly soliciting sex in a public bathroom is not a barrier to entry in the Idaho Hall of Fame, which has announced the induction of Sen. Larry Craig. As the Senator fights to remain a member of the Senate, he will be guaranteed membership in this august body. Appropriately, the motto of the Hall of Fame is “Idahoans On Loan to the World.” It was precisely that attitude that appears to have caused the current scandal for Craig. For Craig and his fellow honorees (including one judge and a reporter), click here In the meantime, the Senate has gone into radio silence over whether it will pursue expulsion or censure against Craig. As noted earlier, Craig is correct in his argument that this is not a matter for the Senate and the ethics investigation is clearly designed to try to limit damage for colleagues in an election year.
