This Congress continues to shock me. There apparently is no one willing to defend the Constitution or the rights we have taken for granted for over 200 years. There certainly needs to be a new political party in this country. Call it the Constitution Party. Americans need to take seriously the assault on our freedoms, or we will continue to see them drift away on the excuse of political expediency by our spineless congressional representatives.

I find the Democrats' compliancy disturbing. The Democrats promised to restore civil liberties, but have betrayed that promise.
I propose a third party-- the "Constitution Party", with Jonathan Turley as the Presidential candidate, John Dean as the VP. I feel that both of you understand the importance of the Constitution to the survival of our country as we know (knew?) it. I would bet that there are enough disillusioned Democrats and Republicans that the Constitution Party might just win.
