At a minimum, one would expect a more robust response without the slap at citizens objecting to the misconduct. It reminds me of what an old judge told me once: “The hardest thing to get new judges to understand is that they were appointed not anointed.”

Not being from Wisconsin, I don’t know the specific rules, but this seams to be a clear case for impeachment and removal of a judge.
