Frankly, I was surprised that Scientology thought this was something that was a positive display. At first, I thought the over dramatic voice and weird graphics were a joke or hoax. When I realized it was serious, it became even more disturbing that this would be viewed as a recruiting or instructive tape.

Wow. Father Tom lays down the religion! If I was an intelligent person looking for a faith this video would:

A. Put me to sleep
B. Turn me way off

Cruise sounds like an automoton spouting nonsensical dogma. Maybe the religion is looking for idiots willing to buy into something for its vogue, not content.
