I notice that this coming Friday, Judge Brinkema will be at AU's Washington College of Law and will give a short talk on "Reflections on Trying Terrorist Cases." "Trying" in many senses of course since she has been involved in two very difficult cases: Moussaoui and Al-Timimi (sounds familiar to us here at this blog I'm sure)

Part of a symposium on a proposal for a new non-FISA court to deal with national security cases.

Not a good idea as presently proposed.
