Usually, threatened with immediate censure by my family feminine contingent, lingering on a station playing the 3 Stooges can be risky in itself. Having resided in France I find their reaction to be disturbing and an indignant expression of the offense begins to take form on my lips. However, in brilliant flash of synaptic activity, the words are immediately converted into "I was just trying to see if I had seen that one." This immediately elicits subtle head shaking and sub-sonic tongue clicking - an admonishment of my pathetic and unbelievable explanation; as though I had belched aloud while saying Grace at the dinner table. I'm ashamed to say I immediately looked for the YouTube video, but to no avail. I was just checking to see if I had seen that one.
