Recall an earlier thread, Patty C, probably knows which one, where New York&#039;s fire inspectors who may do inspections absent warrants, were being asked by Homeland Security, to &quot;take notice&quot; of anything suspicious or suggestive of terrorist activities, while they were engaged in their inspections.  It was suggested in the thread that this was a blatant end-run around 4th Amendment search limitations.....]]></description>
