While I understand 31st District Judge Paul Paruk’s concern over the jury’s ability to determine credibility, I do not agree with the decision.

And I do not disagree with him.  However, allowing a witness to dictate the terms of their testimony based on religious grounds grates mightily on my raw church/state separation nerve.]]></description>
