What does this have to do with Islam?!
Their culture don’t accept love. They had to defame Islam. In Islam love is perfectly acceptable. But some cultures may interfere with that.
They have to defame the whole Islamic universe.

I’m afraid you miss the point, Travis. Of course the U.S. cannot be held responsible for failing to eliminate ancient cultural absurdities and barbaric customs. That is precisely why it was foolish to believe that we could overthrow a government and install Jeffersonian democracy in a 12th century society. And even assuming we have the right to unilaterally determine the form and structure of another country’s government, the result of our brilliant strategy has been to replace a repressive, but secular regime, with a repressive, fundamentalist religious regime, where the rights of women and Christians are routinely trampled and sharia law, the theocratic legal system that promotes honor killings and similar atrocities, is gaining prominence. Yes, Travis, the U.S. in Iraq continues to bring us daily blessings.

An important story that needs to be aired.

Story says, “just one more dividend in our was in Iraq”
My response is that blaming America for honor killings is just asinine. Or maybe you hate America for not “fixing” this horrible practice. It surprises me that anyone that thinks the U.S. in Iraq is a bad thing now wants to whine that we can’t quickly stop something that is ingrained in the culture. Hell, we can’t stop drug use in our own country.
