Police Officer, Wife, and former Sheriff Employee Charged with Running Prostitution Ring

In Greenwood, Indiana, an Indianapolis Metro police officer, his wife, and a former Marion County Sheriff employee have been arrested in a prostitution bust. Lori Vernon-Lee, 36, is accused of recruiting the women and running the business out of her home. Her husband, Jeremy Lee, 30, has been fired from the force in the wake of the charges.

L. McCory, 56, is now a civilian employee and is accused of paying for services. Jeremy Lee allegedly even wore his police uniform when collecting the fees for the prostitutes — keeping half of the proceeds.

Jeremy Lee was fired while serving with the military in Massachusetts. He is charged with one count of aiding in or promoting prostitution while his wife is charged with multiple counts.
