Dining Out: SUV Plows Into Man in Diner

This video is simply astonishing of a man who was interrupted in a diner by a careening car. Kenneth Mack Anderson of Wilkesboro, North Carolina was eating at the Coffee House and Waffle Shop when an SUV joined him in his booth.

The video shows him still seated as the SUV pushed him across the diner. He fortunately suffered only cuts and bruises. His waffles, however, were completely ruined.

That is an amazing story. That man in the diner is extremely lucky to be alive today. This type of accident happens more and more lately. I think that the store owners and mall owners need to design more safety from cars in their stores and developments. A respected CPA from the town I used to work in was killed from a very similar accident in a local sandwich shop. A few cement or steel pillars between the parking lot and the store would have saved his life.
