Every person who values science and rational decision making, needs to stop this religious take over of our society. Our society is turning away from knowledge, into the realm of “miraculous forces” that hide naked power grabs by those making such claims. The only way out is to disengage with the ideas of “forces at work” and concentrate on bringing the debate back to what is said and proposed by each candidate.

Every time in history that a society has gone into the “miraculous forces at work” phase, disaster results. More than 2000 years ago it was known that the earth revolved aroung the sun. The pagan priest suppressed this knowledge in their time and the christians suppressed it in Europe. Scientific text were burned or coverd over with religious teachings. Calculous and the laws of Kepler where known by the Greek scientists. We should not allow knowledge to pass from our civilization.

Religion by itself isn’t necessarily bad. It provides a basis for people to look philosophically at their actions and choices and the outcomes.

Bramlett, on the other hand, suits my idea of evil pretty well — using the guise of religion to promote hatred. If only the rollers would pray for the gift of discernment.

Sarah Palin is the populist appearing, attractive, well-groomed Evita of the Rove/Cheney police state. She is styled by the same hands of those who styled Katherine Harris and Condoleezza Rice, who turn brightly hued mall-rats into states-women.

Sarah Palin is carrying water for, not John McCain, but Karl Rove. Her words are written by George Bush’s speech-writer, she tells George Bush lies (linking 9/11 to Iraq, for example). These are not John McCain words. When she mocks Barack’s desire to stop torture of prisoners, they’re not even John McCain issues.

The Rove/Cheney cabal understands what dermatologists are discussing about John McCain’s disease: On average, he has a 2 to 4 year survival chance. The cabal intends to move Sarah Palin into power for a 10-year run.

Rove and Cheney are orchestrating Sarah Palin’s every move. What happens in a closing society (that is, a dictatorship) is this: elections are held, but they’re corrupted, as with every election since 2000.

Sarah Palin is an affable front person for the same gang of thugs in power now.

I do believe that one or more Satan-like creatures exists in our government right now. Barack Obama is not that beast, however.

The devil has stood up a peace loving highly intelligent, Harvard educated former civil rights worker.

But “God” has stood up a warmongering dimwitted pentacostal soccer mom?

To the rest of the civilized, industrialized planet, we must look like a Monkey f#$k#ng a football.

Seriously though, all of the religion in this campaign is scary. It reminds me of other times in our and other countries’ history when things were spinning out of control in the society. Each time there has been a retreat from rationality into the most ignorant, destructive religiosity known to human kind. We have to put a break on this, everybody; Republican, Democratic and Independent. No good has ever or will come of this and it’s past time to let it go on with so little challenge.
