I don’t think hanging or showing a presidential candidate or other person in this manner is acceptable. You don’t do things like this, it just promotes violence and hate. And you only make yourself look bad to others

I wouldn’t even recommend taking a photo of the person to a shooting range because then you look like you’ve got plans.

We’re not setting good examples for today’s youth if we condone such behavior

I would agree with Prof. Turley that this kid shouldn’t be arrested for what he did, but I would sure like his name in a lot of papers as the one who hung Obama in effigy. That bad press alone might be enough punishment. Although I liked Mespo’s rsponse, I don’t think the Palin effigy should be a criminal matter either.
