I was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout and I am pleased to see that tradition continuing. I never met a scout that I did not like and there were never any fights at the Clubhouse, at school, or on long field camp-outs. I was so proud of my uniform and the code of conduct we pledged before meetings.

In the 1950s/early 60s, soapbox derbies were in vogue for scouts. I helped build a car with a scout friend whose dad was a dentist, so it was better than the stereotypical ‘Little Rascals’ car of the 30s/40s.

I bet that Mike S. or rafflaw might remember those derby days…

"...follow in their father’s footsteps and attend law school."

Law school is not the viable field that it once was. Many lawyers/attorneys are stating within the ABA Law Journal News that perhaps they should have gone into medicine. If one has aptitudes for physics, math, and science, then lawyering *might* not be the best choice.

Now, if the Turley 3 would go directly into academia as their dad chose, or into public service within the government justice system, then "Anchors Away!"

'Indeed, we immediately demanded a bailout of $9 billion. We did not anticipate the economic downturn and the loss of our manufacturing line will result in retailers, suppliers, and Faux fur suppliers suffering.'
^^^^^

Good news! I just contacted Barney Frank. Until the new administration takes over, expect 9.9999B in your coffers to save this very important industry - as early as next week.

Of course, you will have to make the obligatory appearance on Capitol Hill. Take the Metro.
