Now why is it that marijuana is illegal for adults again? Come on, FDA, DOJ, Private Prisons, come on and justify those ridiculous and ineffective prohibition budgets again. Explain the ruination of lives for a victimless crime while a substance proven more dangerous is marketed as candy.

As dollars become rarer and your futile expenditures come under closer scrutiny, get ready for legalization. Did I mention that you’d be vastly helping Mexico by undercutting the illegal profits of the drug barons that have taken over parts of the country (no matter what the Mexican President says)? And how about that new tax revenue stream! Maybe you guys can get some of that money to end cocaine and heroin trafficking! So it’s not all bad news. But this? This is just further evidence of governmental hypocrisy.
