“It’s Good Because It’s So Bad”: Court Clerk Charged With Trading Sex For Promises of Leniency

chelseadistrictA Massachusetts court clerk in the Chelsea District Court is facing federal charges after being arrested for allegedly have sex with an accused prostitute in court after promising her to get a charge dismissed. James “Jim” Burke, 41, has been suspended without pay and charged with one count of attempted deprivation of rights under the color of law and one count of deprivation of rights under the color of law.

Burke was busted after the woman confided in her lawyer about the arrangement of dropping charges for oral sex. The charges were never dropped after she complied. The FBI proceeded to arrange allegedly catch the clerk on tape.

On the recordings, Burke allegedly confirmed their earlier sexual encounter and offered to help her get new charges dismissed if she helped him again. Police say that the recording has Burke explaining that they had sex three years earlier “because it was late in the day and the only judge left was not going to go downstairs.” He is captured on the tape saying “It’s good because it’s like it’s so bad.”

He appears to be not the only court officer who finds courtroom sex to be “good because it’s like so bad,”here. Even judges appear to find such things irresistible.

In the meantime, a former Texas sheriff has pleaded guilty to trading sex in exchanging for promising not to bring criminal charges.

    I’m sure that if he goes to jail for this he will get all the sex he could ever want.
