Maybe it’s a definitional problem. You apparently define a “very nice guy” as a burglar who captures two innocent animals, tortures them and then viciously beheads them, leaving the carcasses to greet elementary school children as they file into class. You’re right, we have no right to judge his actions or your inane comments.

I am assuming you travel in this fellow’s circle of friends and are about his age. In deference to that, I’ll tell you that everyone has the right to judge, for themselves, any action, any person, or any thing, and we do it all the time. If you didn’t you couldn’t survive. Think I’m lying? Tell me what you do when you decide where to sit on a crowded subway or bus.

By the way, I wouldn’t trick or treat with this guy next year assuming he gets paroled.

You got it right. The serial killers often start with animals (and usually smaller ones like cats) and then they graduate. The fact that he posed for the mugshot with the “crazed look” means he is showing off, another disturbing indicator.

At 19 years of age, this guy could be a contender for Dahmer status. It would be unfortunate if he slips through the cracks and goes on to do worse.

(And yes, Mespo, the thought immediately occurred to me that he does look like a billy-goat himself … I also dig the weird curls above the ears like tiny horns.)

I’m not one for judging based on looks, but come on! This guy looks like the Satanic version of Shaggy minus the calming effects of multiple bong hits and a belly full of Scooby Snacks. Let’s just hope he doesn’t have the gang in the Mystery Machine aiding and abetting.

On a more serious note, he needs some serious help. Next time Stoltman might not stop at goats. Torturing animals is a known precursor in the behavior of serial killers and sadists.
