I have no right to moderate this site; however, I countered AY’s comment out of a personal obligation that I will not be a part of such comments from the action of remaining silent.

I ignore a lot of others’ personal bickering here, as do most other ‘regulars’, but sometimes I simply must disassociate my presence here from extreme comments.

I think AY and Leann have something going on, as some of their other posts are quite belicose.

I am far from perfect with some of my posts; however, they usually challenge a person’s position. To suggest that a person should commit suicide, even in jest, crosses a threshold because you have no way of knowing if the person you are referring to is in a state-of-mind that might be vulnerable at any given time.

Additionally, I always try to remember that there is always the possibility that extremely inappropriate comments might reflect negatively on this blawg and by extension to Professor Turley.
