It is well known among world Muslims that Saudi Arabia has very little to do with Islam and it charges Muslims in an unIslamic way to visit their shrines. The US is a party to this and this is the reason US Presidents pay their respect to Saudis by visiting them and constantly asking and receiving money form them.

It could be outrageous from humanity prospective, however, such a rules are strongly advocated by the public because that was considered a part of God’s rules.

The first time I saw an execution by beheading, I was studying comparative law. A still photo, post stroke, before the head hit the ground.

It does make an impression.

A barbaric impression, but an impression nonetheless.

I have thought that myself, if we had public hangings there might be fewer death penalities and it may be some sort of deterence. I am in agreement with Buddha that the cost of excution vs. life in prison makes the death penalty obsolete as punishment.

Lethal injection is definitely done for the executioner and society to make them feel better.

I’m against the death penalty. But if we continue to do it we should have similar public displays. The whole lethal injection scenario is to make the executioners and proponents of the death penalty feel better; it has nothing to do with “humanely killing” the codemned.

We need to rub our own noses in it. We need to have more blood on our hands.

I wonder when the guy, not calling him a man held the boy for immoral purposes if they just don’t like pedantry? and they are sending a message out. I guess because all parties involved are dead, we will never know the truncated truth only what people assume.

The read I took from the story “man sexually molested boy. Boys dad found out and came to exact his revenge. Man fearing for his life axed him and now to up hold the death penalty for sodomy and axes of murder because he was trying to hide the act of sodomy, the person must die.” The Koran justified this killing. Makes total sense to me.
