Israel Blocks Team of Humanitarian Doctors From Entering Gaza to Treat Patients

660px-flag_of_israelsvg1Israel has blocked another humanitarian team from reaching Gaza. This time, however, the team of doctors were organized by the French government to give medical aid and surgical help to the residents.

The team included reconstructive plastic surgeons who are needed to help residents injured in the recent Israeli incursion into Gaza. The team had proper papers and some had been allowed in Gaza previously but were turned away at the border.

Israel is out of control and needs to be corrected for their outrageous behavior in this situation. Whether you are talking about the blocking of water purification supplies or helping the injured it should be a no-brainer that they allow these activities to occur. What are they afraid of when French medical personnel are dispatched to help the wounded and scarred victims of the bloodshed in Gaza? Are they afraid that the world will see the result of their abusive tactics? They will never get peace if they keep preventing truly humanitarian efforts to help the injured.

Too many Doctors too much paperwork and therefore too much documentation. They see it for the trap that it really is. Way to go.

To expect good will from an adversary while practicing barbarism is the expectation of the fool.

    Mespo,

I need some splainin on this.

“To expect good will from an adversary” good hopes, I get.

“while practicing barbarism” I am gonna get you and don’t care what you think I should do.

“is the expectation of the fool.” Like you are really here to help these people.

    Can you elaborate? Thank you.

I think mespo727272 is disagreeing with you.

No I am worshiping at the rafflaw altar here. My point was that the Israeli’s garner no good will by denying the population of their adervaries basic human needs.

    Mespo727272:

then I totally misread that. It seemed to me you were saying that since the Palestinians were barbarians and were acting brutally, the Israelis had no moral requirement to offer aid and comfort and the Palestinians were fools to think that their actions would cause the Israelis to help them.

I misinterpreted that based on reading a couple of your other posts. I see how you can look at it both ways.

    Confusion happens.

The Palestinians are often accused of hiding their fighters in the population effectively as a human shield. One could accuse the hard-right in Israel doing the same politically with their own population. It’s hard to recommend sanctions or otherwise penalize an entire state for the actions of a prejudiced few.

Whatever side one takes on the Israeli question, this represents a stupid blunder on the part of its’ government. Bibi
has never been either a paragon of intelligence, or virtue.

    Mike,

Did you catch Bibi referring to Rahm Emanuel and Dave Axelrod as a “self-hating Jews”? He may not be a paragon of intellect or virtue but that’s some impressive case of paranoia he’s working on.

I guess none of today’s Israli’s ever heard. about Warsaw. They appear completely determined to eliminate all the Palestinians. What will they do next, require all Palestinians to have numbers tattooed on their arms?

    IS:

“It seemed to me you were saying that since the Palestinians were barbarians and were acting brutally, the Israelis had no moral requirement to offer aid and comfort and the Palestinians were fools to think that their actions would cause the Israelis to help them.”

Well that’s an interesting interpretation and perfectly valid given the syntax and my oblique references. You are to be commended since the onus is on the speaker to effectively communicate with the listener. Don’t take my prior comments as indicative of my mood, as you know, I am a chameleon!
