Interesting side note: I took a tour of the Vatican a few years ago. I forget which saint is depicted in the picture posted by the Prof.,but I recall that he was martred by having his skin flayed while alive. Any way, as an apparent inside joke, Michael Angelo put his own silly-puddied face on the saint’s bone-less corpse. And now you know the rest of the story.
