Fawning Innocence: Police Taser Deer

Perhaps it was inevitable with the rapid increase in the use of tasers, but police are now tasering animals. Toronto police tasered a deer that was found near a commercial building after it was tranquilized by a veterinarian.

The police tasered the animal before putting it into an animal control truck. It is likely to be given to the Toronto Zoo.

The police said that the deer appeared agitated, necessitating the use of the taser.
This is not the first deer tasering:

In this video, a dog charges an officer when he tasers the animal:

Makes one wonder: Are Tasers really necessary or are they part of the coward assed bastards protocol?

Think of the countless stories we’ll never hear of all the Offissa Pups who’ve tasered each other on a boring day at the station “just to see whut happens.”

Let me guess. The deer refused to obey the officers command?

Tasering has gotten completely out of hand. It was developed as a non-lethal alternative, although it is used as anything but a non-lethal alternative. How many of these tasering incidents would lead one to believe that the next logical progression in these incidents would be the application of deadly force? Hardly any of them.
