The Ultimate Fatwa: Saudi Arabia Closes Women’s Hospital Health Club

After previously shutting down health clubs for women as “unIslamic,” Saudi authorities have now shutdown a fitness center connected to one of the leading hospitals despite objections that women are suffering from high rates of heart disease and diabetes due to diet and lack of exercise.

Jeddah health official Muhammed Abdul Jawad actually is using health codes to crackdown on efforts to improve the health of women: “Anyone who violates regulations governing the running of health facilities would be punished severely because this involves people’s health.”

The words “shutdown” and “crackdown” are NOUNS not VERBS!

Won’t this wretched middle-eastern area of the world eventually run out of women? It would be interesting to see all the women just get on planes and emigrate to the West, or even to the Far East – of course if they wanted to go to France they would have to ditch the scarves and burkas.
