Canine Recycling

In light of our horrific Bosnian story, this picture may even out the day. Who needs the deposit when you can recycle bottles as puppy pillows.

This is why dogs are always happy.

That is how I feel today. I could sleep on a bed of nails!

Oh what I’d give to be able to sleep so peacefully as that!

My dog adores empty soda bottles. Either a squished 2 liter size or a 24 oz size or smaller will do. You flatten them in the middle and put the cap on to keep it that way. She loves the crushed snapping sound when she bites it. It scoots away at high speed if she doesn’t catch it. When she is able to grab it with her teeth she prances off proudly with her “capture”.

It gets wild on hard flooring and I toss out the ones she punctures.
