The Real Captain America Returns

The ultimate boy’s birthday. First Captain America shows up . . . and then he turns out to be your own Dad returning from the war.

This only works when the man is made for the costume, of course, and vice versa.

A lot of the Captain America folk will be staying in Afghanistan until 2024, but “why?” is the question of the day.

Reunions of this sort should be happening, with or without costume for all military families NOW. Sadly, it can’t happen for too many families, ever. I wonder about the families in Iraq and Afghanistan and Pakistan and wherever the second military arm, the CIA, has deployed drones that have been changed forever with missing parents and children.

“Schiano and LeGrand have been almost inseparable since the Knights’ former defensive tackle suffered fractures of two vertebrae and a serious spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed during a game against Army on Oct. 16, 2010.”
