Cat Arrested In Prison Escape Conspiracy

220px-Cat_eyes_2007-2Brazilian jail guards nabbed the ultimate cat burglar last week at the northeastern Brazilian jail in Alagoas. The cat was found to be smuggling in escape tools after being trained by inmates who where digging out of the prison. It is not clear if the cat will now receive nine consecutive life sentences.

The guards were used to seeing the cat walk around the prison but one guard stopped the cat and found tools strapped to its body. The cat was caught with saw blades and drill parts for concrete drilling and digging tunnels as well as a cell phone complete with battery and charger. The prisoners raised the cat for this purpose.

I thought that I had heard of this cat criminal before . . .

See! Cats are superior to dogs, no dog would help you escape from prison!

Plus, no cats post annoying, pointless unfunny comments on this blog

A trained cat? The defense will obviously be an impossibility of fact.

A dog would help dig a tunnel and then take the blame as his inmate friends escape..LOYALTY! In this case I think the cat was really a snitch and will be given immunity.

It is difficult to train cats. They usually do the training.

Prisons are from the mind of Satan. Why want what is from the mind of Satan? That cat is a animal that was made from the mind of God.

Clearly, the cat haters don’t know (or want to know) how smart they are.

P Smith, I’m not a cat hater. I’ve owned both dogs and cats. Dogs are dull normal to very smart but ALWAYS loyal and have unconditional love. Cats are almost all smart. However, my sister has one that is even dumber than my late Golden Retriever who had a nickname of “Lenny” from Of Mice and Men. My comments about cats is about their integrity and demeanor, not their intelligence. They’re like cunning politicians.

    Prof. T-

“It is not clear if the cat will now receive nine consecutive life sentences.”

I understand that the cat will be represented in court by the BCLU- The Brazilian Civet Liberties Union.
