So’s Yo Mama-San: North Korea Denounces Clinton as Looking Like a “Pensioner Going Shopping” While Clinton Calls the North Koreans “Unruly Teenagers” With Mommy Issues

220px-hillary_rodham_clinton225px-Kim-jong-il_portraitThe North Korean government would be a lasting source of late night jokes if it were not for the fact that it is trying to make a nuclear weapon and has been tied to such efforts by other nations. Now the Foreign Ministry has issued a series of bizarre schoolyard taunts against Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, saying she “looks like a primary schoolgirl and sometimes a pensioner going shopping.” That was from the spokesman for the Foreign Ministry — the diplomatic arm of North Korea.

The Foreign Ministry referred to Clinton’s remarks on this latest diplomatic trip as “vulgar” and stated that “she is by no means intelligent.”
The Foreign Ministry held a rare press conference to say that “We cannot but regard Mrs. Clinton as a funny lady as she likes to utter such rhetoric, unaware of the elementary etiquette in the international community. Sometimes she looks like a primary schoolgirl and sometimes a pensioner going shopping.”

Clinton herself seemed to take the bait and return a few taunts: “What we’ve seen is this constant demand for attention. And maybe it’s the mother in me or the experience that I’ve had with small children and unruly teenagers and people who are demanding attention — don’t give it to them, they don’t deserve it, they are acting out.”

The next step is a United Nation resolution to give Kim Jong Il an atomic weggie.

  2. The only thing missing from this circus are the clowns. Oh, wait . . . there they are!

    Nevermind.

    And Gyges?

Add Winston Churchill to that rolling in the grave list. Now there was a man who could wield an insult in the name of diplomacy!

  3. Now THAT’S statesmanship. The tragedy in the whole thing is that they both are REALLY bad at insulting people. Shakespeare is rolling in his grave.

  4. What, exactly, is wrong with being a pensioner going shopping?

My goal in life is to be a pensioner going shopping. It’s what gets me up in the morning and what motivates me to work all day long. Of course, the other goal is to look like a schoolgirl once I start receiving my well-deserved pension and am out shopping. No one will ever guess I’m over 65.

Mespo’s right. That Korean diplomatic arm doesn’t have a clue.

  5. I’d have tobe against atomic wedgies given the nuclear issues we already have with them. We could just go with the classic swirly.

  6. Actually, I think this is the most effective form of diplomacy with North Korea.

  7. I guess you won’t be eating in Korea town at Harry Hines and Royal anytime soon.

  8. I would think that, at her age, being mentioned in the same breath as a “primary school girl” would be a compliment.
