When will this country wake up to the cat menace? After following cases of cats framing humans (here and here), we have yet another example of the feline Fifth Column. Robert Taylor fell victim to a classic cat trap. He returned home to find that his cat had used his bed as a litter box. When he took the cat to the barage to fire a gun to scare it, he was promptly arrested and the cat given the run of the house.
Taylor, 43, took the cat to his garage and fired a gun at 7:30 pm into a “life jacket” to scare the [%$!#!] out of it.
He has minutes before been arguing with his girlfriend over the cat’s behavior — a classic divide and conquer technique among feline agents.
Taylor screamed “I’m going to shoot this [expletive] cat” and then proceeded to execute the life jacket.
He was charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling and using a firearm while under the influence.
Police noted that the house had a great deal of pet droppings on the rugs and furniture.

The White House tonight is providing the below clarification on what the president’s health-care proposals would mean when it comes to the issue of illegal immigrants.
The question, as we all know, arises from the Wilson “You lie” outburst, and the core claim that notwithstanding specific bill language barring illegal immigrants from participating in the “exchange,” as a practical matter, there is no way of verifying the citizenship of applicants — which is the current state of play. Republicans say that then means illegal immigrants would end up being enrolled in plans — bill language or no bill language.
Today, for the first time as far as we know, the administration is backing a provision that would require proof of citizenship before someone could enroll in a plan selected on the exchange.
Here, the administration also concedes that hospitals would be compensated with public funds for the care of undocumented immigrants.

If Wilson was wrong, why did the Senate amend their proposed bill in such a rush yesterday to accommodate verifying citizenship before anyone can enroll in any government insurance program, get tax credits for health related programs, or get benefits?
As Joe had been pointing out for weeks; the same illegal immigrants using fake ID’s to work in this country would be using the same FAKE ID’s to get health care benefits under OBama care.

neck, I’ve noticed that several people periodically visit this site to favor us with the latest cable news ratings. I assume that you understand that they are only meaningful to avid readers of “Advertising Week.” We know that the numbers do not reflect the views of the population at large. (You may recall the recent election results.) Those people who regard FOXiness as next to godliness spend their lives watching the assorted bimbos and bigots offered by that outlet for the simple reason that they have no place else to go outside of equally mind-numbing websites like worldnetdaily or americangrandjury. Even the head of the Republican Party, Rush Limbaugh, recognizes this fact. It’s the reason he and others of similar ideology constantly harangue us about the mainstream media. So continue to publish the latest figures if you wish, but understand that none of us are impressed, let alone worried.
This story makes me feel so sorry for all those animals out there who are subject to the whims of seriously mentally ill and often violent people. Yeah, like this guy needs to be teaching any other sentient being a lesson!
I was staying with some friends in Arizona who lived near someone who had a horse in a pen with no shelter. It was Christmas time, the temperature was below freezing and even snowed. The horse had to sleep out there, totally exposed all night. I felt horrible for it.

Has no one explained the complexities of litter boxes to this person? Maybe someone could help him with the complicated chore of buying some kitty litter, pouring it into a receptacle, and placing it somewhere that the cat can find it. Cats are critters that are notoriously tidy, and as such, they are fond of burying what they leave behind. This is difficult for them to do on rugs and furniture.
Instead, this genius executes a life jacket, believing that the cat will understand it’s housemate’s demented intention.
