Hounding Baset Apologizes to Bulldog: Squash Player Under Fire for Scene on Squash Court

Baset Chaudhry of the Trinity Squash team has apologized for screaming in the face of Yale opponent Kenneth Chan. Trinity beat the Bulldogs in the finals, but the win was spoiled by Chaudry’s taunting of at the end.

One can understand that Chaudhry was pumped up but it was not exactly good sportsmanship on display. It is simply not done in squash and Yale coach Dave Talbott suggested the College Squash Association penalize Chaudhry. The player has sent apologies to the Yale team, and to each member of the College Squash Association.

  1. mespo,

lol That’s a very short 15 minutes. Where were you when Andy Warhol needed to be countered?

  2. Conversely it could be considered that Baset’s primitive preening is a indication of the frustration at Chan’s game.

    Nah.

    Who am I kidding?

The guy is obviously a hyper-competitive nitwit with no sense of proportion. It’s SQUASH! Yeah, yeah, I’ve played and I know it’s a tough game but it’s an indoor game named after a vegetable. Not victory over the Huns.

Sometimes your war face just makes you look silly.

    Ask Howard Dean.
