We have another case of English teachers accused of terrorizing students with a fake violent crime. We previously saw this curious pedagogical technique in Sheffield, here. Now, teachers at Blackminster Middle School in Evesham, Worcester are under attack for faking the killing of a teacher in front of screaming children aged 10 to 13.
The teacher arranged for a man to appear brandishing a gun and then kill science teacher Richard Kent as he ran across a field. They then pretended to try to resuscitate him without success.
After ten minutes of children weeping and crying, they were told it was part of a science lesson. Some children were physically ill and one went into a panic attack.
While apologizing, the school insisted that the children learned lessons from the ordeal. I expect utter terror and panic are lessons of some kind, but not exactly part of SOL curriculum in the states.

I fail to see how this act of terrorizing the sh*t out of kids will teach them valuable life lessons … I must have slept during that class.
These are the kinds of teachers that ought to be shown the door, with the help of a swift kick in the arse.
Will these ‘teachers’ be paying for the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder? I don’t think it will matter to a lot of those kids if the situation was ‘real’ or not. IF English school teachers are licensed, these teachers need to have theirs pulled. They should also be banned from working with children. If thy have kids of their own, social Services should be checking them out. Sadistic monsters.

The British school system would go to insane lengths to “protect” its students from the statistically improbable chance they might become the victim of a sexual predator on the one hand, and then turns around and terrorizes the same students on the other.
If British children need protection from anyone, it’s from the British school system.
