Millions of Muslims in Indonesia have been praying to Africa, but not by choice. The Indonesian Ulema Council had Muslims praying West to what they thought was the Kaaba in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It turns out that Mecca is Northwest.
Rather than tear down mosques built for worship to the West, elders are asking everyone to shift slightly in prayer toward Northwest: “After the first fatwa (edict) a few months ago that stated that the praying direction is west, we have announced that the correct direction for praying is indeed northwest, and we have issued a new fatwa (edict) to correct it.”

I think there once was Pete. If memory serves correctly an arab multi millionaire hitched a ride on the Space Shuttle a few years back and caused a bit of a problem as one of the proper crew members was female and he refused to follow any instruction that came from her.

Some 40 years back the local muslim community got a council loan (which they have yet to start paying back) to build a mosque.
The mosque bods were always whinging on at the builders about it not being done quick enough or cheap enough (like it was their money) so one day the builders had their revenge. Well, 2 days actually.
On the first day, all was re-aligned very slightly.
On the second day it was time to plaster the ceilings,(off to the local cafe for ham sandwiches).
The result is that for the past 40 years our local muslims have been praying UNDER PORK towards TEL AVIV.
