The Obedient Wives’ Club: Muslim Advocate Tells Women That It Is Their Duty Under The Koran Is To Service Husbands Like “First-Class Prostitutes”

In Malaysian, sharia law already strips women of many of the most basic protections in society. However, the Obedient Wives’ Club is creating chapters around the country to remind women that if they are beaten or abandoned, it is really their fault. Indeed, vice-president Dr Rohaya Mohamad has publicly told women that it is their duty to service their husbands like “a first-class prostitute.” It is just another insight into the plight of women in some of these Sharia-based systems.

Rohaya instructed women to obey their husbands and that if their husbands cheat, it is because they are not meeting them needs. She explained that “women who fail to fulfil their husband’s needs leave their marriage open to breakdowns. So many men now have girlfriends, mistresses and visit prostitutes.”

The Obedient Wive’s Club has over 1,000 members and chapters in other Islamic nations like Malaysia.

  2. I am very shocked, angry and sad over the OWC, in that some women would on their own initiative actively degrade their fellow women!!
    OWC tell women to be sex worker, (NOT good sex partner) to their husband !
    It is as if women exist purely to serve and to be abused!
    They do NOT matter at all. SEx is chore to them; not an enjoyment !
    when men look for prostitutes, it is automatically the wife’s mistake- don’t PERFORM better than 1st class prostitutes!!!!!
    Moslem men are not sex maniacs, cannot exercise some self control.
    Dr Rohaya, being educated and have a good job, is most unlikely to be abused and beaten. She should consider other helpless one!!!!

  6. I am going to say that I talked with a woman that is a MD from a Muslim country and she explained why they do this to women….

    I still don’t understand WHY….something I can not grasp……WHY would anyone sew a woman shut…..WHY…There is just something wrong about this picture….If you stop and think about the whole concept….it is really more disgusting than rape and that is bad enough in of itself…..

    Any time I think you can’t be more ignorant, can’t be any more hateful, inaccurate and just plain obnoxious you prove me wrong. It is one of only two things you can be counted on for. The other is twisting any real world event into some unrecognizable attack on eeeeeeeeeeeevvvvvviiiiiillllllll liberals.

    Yes, because not only are women not expected to have sexual urges, they cannot have them because they have been “circumcised” as young girls. Female Circumcision or Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is prohibited by law in most Western Countries, but is widespread in Muslim countries, particularly in North East Africa. The most horrendous procedure requires excision of the clitoris and the labia. This particular form of female circumcision is widely practiced in Egypt, where the Shafi’i school of Sunni law is followed. In discussions about this topic, Muslims usually insist that this practice is a cultural issue, and it is not religiously mandated by Islam. However, it is widely practiced and tolerated throughout the Middle East & many African countries and men will not “marry” girls unless they receive proof the girl has been surgically mutilated.

  14. The “Stepford Wives’ Club” favored by Republican women is actually very similar to the “Obedient Wives’ Club,” but eliminates the sex part. In any event, I am emailing this story to my wife and plan to stop by Borders on the way home to pick up a copy of the Karma Slutra. I’ll let you know how it works out.
