First Suspect Charged In Brutal Baltimore Attack

One of the alleged culprits from the brutal attack on a tourist in Baltimore has turned himself into police. His name is Aaron Parsons, 20, and he was identified on social media posts over the past week. He is now charged with assault, robbery and other crimes. [Update: Bail has been reduced]

Police say that they are seeking three other individuals below. Just as I was previously confused how the Chief of Police could rule out a racial motivation for the crime, I do not see how only four people are suspects of criminality based on the video. However, once the first suspect is found in a case like this, it generally only becomes a matter of time given the clear shots of the suspects below. Ironically, the “fun” video taken by the laughing crowd will prove their undoing. Notably, the two people who took the videos (rather than call police) will not apparently be named or arrested.

    Are you suggesting that their was no crime committed because the guy “simply walked into” the wrong part of town? Or are you suggesting that it isn’t a crime because Al Sharpton would not favor African Americans being charged for a crime because they are black?

  10. The guy just wanted one room with a double bed and free breakfast for one night. He found his way back to the hotel and remembered little.

    The people who posted the videos did the victim and the world a favor. Although Baltimore may not attract large masses of tourists in the near future.

    As for the commenter who is worried about Armageddon when the food stamps stop or the OWS movement people come to a town near you. Join the Tea Party now and start the local chapter of the Bund. We need more foot soldiers.

  11. Hmmm… BPD Commissioner Frederick H. Bealefeld III – the videotaped beating of a white tourist does not appear to be a hate crime, but rather “drunken opportunistic criminality” on the part of a gang of Charm City assailants.

    In a TV interview, Commissioner Frederick H. Bealefeld III urged Baltimore residents to “distinguish between criminality and racially motivated crime.” Bealefeld, who is white, warned against “race-baiting” and “fear-mongering” in light of the Trayvon Martin shooting and other recent racially charged incidents.

    “There’s no doubt it’s a crime,” Bealefeld said of the March 17 assault. “We need to vigorously hold criminals accountable, and we have to be careful not to be pulled into this race-baiting.”

    Yeah, that’s putting the “Charm” into “Charm City”.

  16. The attack, and so many others like it plus the OWS movement, looks like the face of impending anarchy, to me. Just wait until the food stamps stop and the Medicaid health comes to a grinding halt. That will be a good time to stay off the streets and block your doors and windows.
    If we do see nation-wide riots which bring about a state of national emergency and Obama becomes our dictator-in-chief, then I predict that that situation will be a segway into a One World Government (OWG). It will also be the time when We, the People, will be disarmed and anyone who shows leadership skills will be eliminated.

    May I suggest that we pay attention to our spiritual health? To me, where we spend eternity is a matter of huge importance. And the gov cannot keep us out of Heaven unless we give up our salvation that Jesus secured for us. Our choice; the rewards of this life or Heaven (an eternity of Rejoicing).
