“If You Want To Kill Us, Then Kill Us”: Kenyan Muslims Shield Christians From Terrorists In Bus Attack

900px-Flag_of_Kenya.svgWe have previously discussed acts of heroism in the face of terrorism, including acts by Muslims who reject the violence and claims of morality by ISIS and others such as the Muslims who formed a human shield around tourists in Tunisia. We have another such case out of Kenya where Muslim passengers refused to identify non-Muslims when their bus was seized by the Islamic extremist group Al-Shabaab. The passengers reportedly told the terrorists that they would have to kill them all or let them all go.

The bus to Mandera was supposed to have a police escort near the border with Somalia and Ethiopia. However, the escort vehicle broke down. When the terrorists seized the bus, they set about to separate and kill all Christian passengers but the Muslim passengers, mainly women, refused to separate and identify the Christians. Last year, the group killed 28 people who could not recite the Quran.

Some of the Muslim women gave the Christian women their hijabs and others hid them behind bags. One witness said “They told them, ‘If you want to kill us, then kill us. There are no Christians here.” It is reminiscent of the Robbie Edmonds story that we discussed recently from World War II.

The terrorists shot a passenger and the bus driver but then left.

The whole purpose of terrorism is to turn a population against itself and against its values. It is meant to kill what humanity is left in people and get them to accept an ideology or religion out of fear. These Kenyans showed how humanity and true morality can prevail in the face of such evil in this world.

It’s theoretically possible that Andrew Breitbart was killed by the USG for his threatened expose’ of Barack Obama, but the tribute you cite makes an extremely weak case for it.

Consider, for only two examples, that the highly critical Obama biographers Wayne Madsen and Webster Tarpley are alive and well many years after the publication of their books (The Manufacturing of a President and Barack H. Obama: The Unauthorized Biography).

Also, please compare the extremely tenuous case for Breitbart’s murder made by the tribute above with the following, which includes a transcript of the trial:

Court Decision: U.S. ‘Government Agencies’ Found Guilty in Martin Luther King’s Assassination
Circuit Court of Shelby County, Tennessee Thirtieth Judicial District at Memphis, December 1999

“After four weeks of testimony and over 70 witnesses in a civil trial in Memphis, Tennessee, twelve jurors reached a unanimous verdict on December 8, 1999 after about an hour of deliberations that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated as a result of a conspiracy. In a press statement held the following day in Atlanta, Mrs. Coretta Scott King welcomed the verdict, saying,

“ ‘There is abundant evidence of a major high-level conspiracy in the assassination of my husband, Martin Luther King, Jr. And the civil court’s unanimous verdict has validated our belief. I wholeheartedly applaud the verdict of the jury and I feel that justice has been well served in their deliberations. This verdict is not only a great victory for my family, but also a great victory for America. It is a great victory for truth itself. It is important to know that this was a SWIFT verdict, delivered after about an hour of jury deliberation.’

” ‘The jury was clearly convinced by the extensive evidence that was presented during the trial that, in addition to Mr. Jowers, the conspiracy of the Mafia, local, state and federal government agencies, were deeply involved in the assassination of my husband. (Emphasis added) The jury also affirmed overwhelming evidence that identified someone else, not James Earl Ray, as the shooter, and that Mr. Ray was set up to take the blame. I want to make it clear that my family has no interest in retribution.

” ‘Instead, our sole concern has been that the full truth of the assassination has been revealed and adjudicated in a court of law… My husband once said, “The moral arc of the universe is long, but it bends toward justice.” To-day, almost 32 years after my husband and the father of my four children was assassinated, I feel that the jury’s verdict clearly affirms this principle. With this faith, we can begin the 21st century and the new millennium with a new spirit of hope and healing.’
