Tracey Lee Giffin, 45, is accused of stabbing her husband after he drank her last beer. The 59-year-old man had cuts on his neck, chest and stomach.
Griffin allegedly woke up to find that her husband had downed the last beer. He is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment.
Notably, Giffen is particularly sensitive about food. In 2003, she was arrested after a dispute over barbecue sauce on Christmas Eve. On that occasion, the man was bitten on the nose and hand. Griffin suffered an eye injury. Five years later, Giffen was convicted for repeatedly kicking a pregnant woman in the abdomen.
Obviously this is a disturbed individual with a possible dependency problem. Our criminal justice is reeling from the influx of such troubled individuals.

If you want to support a drug addict, and provide them rent, food, utilities, and medical care, AND provide them drugs, to boot— then go ahead! Rent an extra apartment for one, and set the utilities up in their names. Buy their groceries and clothes for them. And, give them cash so they can go out and get their drugs. Tell us how wonderful it makes you feel!
Because that is pretty much what Portugal has done. They have a national minimum income, and they even provide drug alternatives to addicts!
Oh, there is that troubling little aspect that Portugal is the “P” in the PIIGS you hear about if you read financial stuff. I suspect that some of that is because a person in Portugal can simply opt out of a job, career, college, marriage, and four-letter words like “work”, and stay high as a kite (or maybe low as a bug) on whatever drug they want!
Their finances are going to get worse, and you should look for a national default, unless the ECB wants to subsidize them.

Nah, she definitely was slamming down Cincinnati’s own Hudepohl Lager, known locally as “Hudy.” The company’s advertising slogan was, “Get moody with Hudy.” The beer vendors at the Riverfront Stadium would walk up and down during the Red’s home games holding cans in the air and singing out, “Get moody, get moody!”
Sounds like an episode of COPS.

Our criminal justice system is reeling from the influx of such troubled individuals? Well, obviously not. The statement infers that the system has had to perform its duty. Had the criminal justice system performed as it was intended, people like this wouldn’t continually be released from that system to once again act out in violent episodes. How many people must she bite, how many pregnant women must she kick, how many people must she attack before she is simply put away–put away for good? Claiming that the system is reeling from individuals like this methed-up broad infers that the system has had to deal with her in some significant manner. As evidenced by her repeated violent episodes, where she has, obviously, been free to roam the streets and lash out on others, the system appears to have continually played catch and release with her–hardly my idea of a system having to deal with her and her multitude of problems.

IMHO, the best answer is to remove the underpinnings of a lot of this kind of behavior, which is drugs. Like meth, coke, and heroin. If drug dealers were rapidly executed, that would dry up the supply, and people like Tracey would have little choice but to either get clean, or just become drunks.
But, our country cares more about process than it does results, so I guess we will have to wait for our own personal Hitler to come along and take out the garbage. Which I suspect will be at least 75 years in the future, barring some sort of natural apocalypse, nuclear attack, or complete long term financial collapse.

Obama just set this guy free. And a whole bunch of his friends.
Cocaine, it’s a hell of a drug. And Obama, who wrote of using it in the past, still seems to have a soft spot for its dealers even though he no longer imbibes. His “pardons” mainly focus on cocaine dealers.
Of his 46 pardons, 41 involved cocaine. Despite the lefty obsession with racial inequality in crack cocaine sentencing, only a minority of the pardons involved crack cocaine. Crack was not Obama’s drug of choice. But just to be fair, he did pardon this fine citizen who got into both meth and cocaine.
Robert Joe Young – Joppa, AL
Offense: Conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute a mixture and substance containing methamphetamine; possession with the intent to distribute a mixture and substance containing methamphetamine; use of a firearm during and in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime; possession with the intent to distribute a mixture and substance containing cocaine; carrying a firearm during and in relation to a drug trafficking crime; endeavoring to influence and impede the administration of justice (Northern District of Alabama)
Sentence: 240 months’ imprisonment; 5 years’ supervised release (Dec. 16, 2002)
So much for the non-violent offenders. But anyone moving sizable amounts of drugs is by definition violent.

Offense: Possession with intent to distribute a quantity in excess of five kilograms of cocaine (Southern District of Texas)
Sentence: 240 months’ imprisonment; 10 years’ supervised release (Feb. 1, 2002)
That’s in the neighborhood of $100,000 worth of cocaine. Non-violent drug offenders don’t operate at that level.
One of Obama’s pardons was of a drug dealer operating around D.C.

Federal law enforcement authorities, culminating a two-year investigation during which undercover agents traded cellular telephones and pagers for crack cocaine, arrested 23 people yesterday who are alleged to be members of a large-scale drug distribution network in the District and suburban Maryland.
Now he’s free to deal again. And maybe he can move on to a more select upscale clientele. Meanwhile Chicago just doesn’t have enough drug dealers. At least that’s what Obama thinks.

Burgos was hardly a first time offender.
On February 20, 1992, a jury convicted Joseph Burgos (“Burgos”) of distributing nearly two kilograms of cocaine… Prior to trial, the government filed a notice pursuant to 21 U.S.C. § 851, informing Burgos he faced enhanced statutory penalties because he had two prior drug convictions.
And Florida can enjoy having this guy on the loose.
Marlon McNealy – St. Petersburg, FL
Offense: Conspiracy to commit racketeering (two counts); conspiracy to distribute cocaine base; knowingly and intentionally distributing 50 grams or more of cocaine base (three counts) (Middle District of Florida)
Sentence: Life imprisonment; 10 years’ supervised release (Aug. 18, 1993)
As usual there’s more to the gory story.
During 1990 and 1991 in St. Petersburg, Florida, Ronald Mathis operated a major crack cocaine distribution organization with which the defendants were connected. Defendant Levine Archer (“Jamaican Joe”) supplied crack cocaine to the organization during 1990 until early 1991, when he had a dispute with Mathis. Around late 1990, Marlon McNealy and Willie Jefferson became suppliers as well. They were soon joined by Charles Hubbard, and these three were principal suppliers from July 1 through October 1991.
n late 1990, Mathis moved his operations to the south side of the city. On December 24, 1990, at an organizational meeting attended by about twenty people, Mathis outlined his plan to be bigger and smarter than another drug organization in the city, run by “Wonderman” Lee, had been. McKinnon was present and added that workers should not be as flashy as the Lee organization. In 1991 the center of operations was Mathis’s residence at 781 16th Avenue South, though several sites on the south side were used to prepare, sell, and pay for drugs sold. These locations included 827 Preston Avenue South, 14th Avenue South and Highland by a key shop, locations around 15th and 16th Avenue South, 1222 19th Avenue South, and 2320 Fairfield Avenue. Mathis moved operations from one site to another in response to law enforcement searches, and ordered at least one site to be burned down to impede investigation efforts. Evidence of arson and attempts at burglary and murder was introduced, indicating the full extent of the Mathis organization’s activities.
Obama certainly is doing his part to make America safer.

Obama once again pardoned a whole bunch of drug dealers and smugglers. Mostly of the cocaine variety. Because there just aren’t enough drug dealers in America. This may be the most egregious case.
Vander Keith Gore – Little River, SC
Offense: Conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute 50 grams or more of cocaine base, five kilograms or more of cocaine, 50 kilograms or more of marijuana, and less than 100 grams of heroin; District of South Carolina
Sentence: 240 months’ imprisonment; 10 years’ supervised release (October 30, 2002)
Vander Keith Gore is the son of Atlantic Beach Councilman Vander More Gore. Gore is an ex-councilman because he and his sons ran a drug smuggling ring.
Former Atlantic Beach councilman Vander More Gore was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison as the kingpin in a 20-year conspiracy to deal drugs.
He was the only one of eight co-conspirators to receive the maximum sentence in the federal drug case. There’s no possibility for parole.
Testimony painted Gore, 67, as the leader of the group, and witnesses said he gave the orders.
“I am a leader, but not of drugs,” Vander Gore said. “I’m a leader of doing good things in the community.”
“I don’t have nothing,” he said. “I don’t have nothing to show for no drugs. I’ve worked hard day and night.”
A whole bunch of Gore family members and associates were arrested in this nasty case.
One witness, convicted drug dealer Jermaine Davis, told the jury that Vander Gore and Jeffrey Gore visited him in prison once in Kingstree and told him to give a message to another convicted drug dealer.
Davis said Jeffrey Gore told him to tell Clifton Jordan that he would kill Jordan, Jordan’s girlfriend or Jordan’s baby if Jordan “didn’t keep his mouth shut.”
Black lives don’t matter when they’re not the lives of drug dealers.
