The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch Found?

Screen Shot 2016-08-25 at 6.20.32 PMFor those of us who are fans of the the Monty Python film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, archeologists appear to have done the impossible: find the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch. The Crusader hand grenade was uncovered by the late Marcel Mazliah, a worker at the Hadera power plant in northern Israel. Other artifacts originate from eras 3,500 years in the past.

Hand grenades were used during the 11th century and later centuries.

As the archeologists research the item, they would be wise to keep the instructions in mind:

Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.”

Now if only we can get that wee rabbit to stand still.

  1. O.K., so Dan Brown says it’s a holy grenade but what do ancient alien astronaut theorists say about this highly advanced, obviously extraterritorial weapon?

  2. I’ve been waiting for this. I was going to see if there was a government grant where I could have gone and looked for it myself.

  3. Is not Antioch a small college in Illinois? Or Iowa? Mister Rabbit is here with the itShay.

  4. That damn rabbit is going to take the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch and the Holy Hand Grenade of Constantinople. That rabbit is mean!!!!. BIG TEETH!!!
