Facebook Felon: Ohio Man Posted Wanted Poster As Facebook Picture . . . Police Immediately Friend Him

14202548_1015769851877489_4089395885883819036_nWe have previously discussed felons who use social media to highlight their crimes or even object to the use of mugshots as unflattering. Mack Yearwood did one better. He actually used his wanted poser as this Facebook profile picture. That led to a quick arrest from police who wanted to friend him.

The Florida man had two outstanding warrants and appeared to relish his “Wanted of the Week” poster. When police did a social media search, his mugshot popped up on his Facebook account. To make matters worse for Yearwood, he insisted on putting on some jeans before being taken away after police came to his house. Once he was dressed, police found a bag of marijuana still in the pocket of the jeans. He now has an added charge of possession of marijuana under 20 grams.

Professor James Moriarty he is not.

  1. I’m just confused… was it an Ohio man as referenced in the title or a Florida man as referenced in the post… in either case, this guy is not quite on top of his game.

  2. A … dork is a dork, a dork of course!
Unless the dork of course is named Mister Ed!
