Paris Mayor Calls For Banning Of Black Only Event In Paris

Anne_Hidalgo,_février_2014With Harvard holding its first black-only graduation this year and various schools creating black only dorms and safe spaces, “separate but equal” seems to be on the resurgence in America (something I wrote about ten years ago).  However, Paris mayor, Anne Hidalgo, has stood firm against all forms of discrimination and barred the black feminist festival in the French capital because it is “prohibited to white people.”  She said that racial discrimination in any form or for any purpose will not be tolerated.

nyan_lgThis was to be the first Nyansapo Festival and would have July 28-30  at a cultural centre in Paris as “an event rooted in black feminism, activism, and on a European scale.”  Nyansapo means “wisdom, ingenuity, intelligence and patience.”  In this case, it also means segregation on the basis of race.

  1. “However, Paris mayor, Anne Hidalgo, has stood firm against all forms of discrimination”

No she has not. Anne has no backbone and has no ever stood for anything (that requires going against other leftists).

After weeks of Internet protests, she produced an excuse for herself saying that as the mayor, she had no control over the use of municipal buildings that were allocated to “associations”.

Then, under the overwhelming pressure, she decided it was illegal (it obviously is).

But now she is OK with it as long as the discrimination occurs elsewhere. Actually, it’s still illegal…

  2. Professor Turley,
Thank you for your dedication to truth in our times.
As a child of the ’60’s, I am extremely dismayed that the current ” civil rights”
disciples have completely abandoned Dr. King’s philosophy and writings.
I say shame on them, as well as God help us!
    Thank you Prof Turley.

  3. Paris Lives Matter.
The French Revolution brought about a free society which began to outlaw religious and racial uplifting. So the religious head dresses were banned etc. Good.

  4. Tim Black nails it – all the MSM attention given to identity-based issues steers away focus from more urgent issues

    1. The depredations of Wal Mart do not make an ‘urgent issue’. The Wal Mart discourse is just progtrash lobbing accusations at people with better things to do with their life. Progtrash are like scorpions. They bite because it’s their nature.

      1. yeah, whatever. apparently you have never lived amongst the great unwashed FU

        1. ‘great unwashed’?

Ordinary wage-earners have no demonstrable issues with Wal Mart. Those are Wal Mart’s customers.

  5. Whose idea was “multiculturalism?”

Probably the same folks who thought overpopulation through mass immigration was good, huh?

14-lane freeways in big cities. Every square inch of land developed.

You gotta love it. Seriously. You’re forced to love it because you can’t escape it.

    Who sold out America?

    1. “overpopulation” is a nonsense concept except in a quite discrete set of circumstances that seldom obtain in the modern world.

  6. People must adapt to the outcomes of freedom.

Freedom does not adapt to people.

The minority does not wield dictatorship over the majority.

Either Americans are free or they suffer under dictatorship.

The Imperial Judiciary has imposed the dictatorship of collectivism/socialism/communism rather than “faithfully and impartially perform its duties under the Preamble, Constitution and Bill of Rights,” including the 9th Amendment, and secure every conceivable freedom to Americans.

Affirmative action, welfare, food stamps, forced busing, social services, quotas, public worker unions/strikes and all of the other compulsory dictates of the welfare state are irrefutably unconstitutional.

The right to private property, the definition of private property and the full range of freedoms in the Constitution preclude all forms of redistribution of wealth, including redistribution through forced matriculation and hiring as affirmative action.

Charity is an industry conducted in the free markets of the private sector.

  7. Desperate and Darren make good points that I tend to agree w/ on this specific topic.
