THE SHOOTER: James T. Hodgkinson

James Hodgkinson alleged shooter in Alexandria incident. This is James T. Hodgkinson, 66, who has been identified as the shooter in today’s tragedy.  He is from Belleville, Illinois and appears a political activist. He is the owner of JTH Inspections.  He has a criminal record, including battery.

Judging from a Facebook page for a user named James Hodgkinson from Belleville, Illinois, he appears a critic of both President Donald Trump and Republicans.  He is shown here calling for higher taxes and he appears to be wearing a t-shirt wih the word “Republican” on it.

He appears a supporter of Senator Bernie Sanders and volunteered on this campaign.  Sanders has denounced him and his actions.

Hodgkinson wrote such messages as “Trump is a Traitor. Trump Has Destroyed Our Democracy. It’s Time to Destroy Trump & Co.”  Just two days ago, he wrote  “I Want to Say Mr. President, for being an ass hole you are Truly the Biggest Ass Hole We Have Ever Had in the Oval Office,” He is also a critic of Hillary Clinton who he referred to as “Republican Lite.” Indeed, he wrote “You’ve been warned DNC. I will NEVER vote Hillary. A nomination for Hillary equals a win for Trump. #NOTWithHer.”

The hatred for Republicans is obvious. In October 2015 he wrote “Thieving Republican Congress Strikes Again!!!”

  1. “And it’s up to all of us to make sure that we talk about how wrong this is and how dangerous it is and how we must really speak about violence and help reduce the hate in this country, because there is quite a bit of hate right now.” -Rep. Barbara Lee

    1. Representative Barbara Lee on DemocracyNow!, today: “We must reduce the hate in this country.”

  2. While looking into the psychopathology of Leftists, such as Jon Turley, James T. Hodgkinson, and many posters on this message board, I came across a book entitled “The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness,” by Lyle H. Rossiter, Jr., MD.

The description of the Leftist mind seem on target:
“The Liberal Mind is the first in-depth examination of the major political madness of our time: The radical left’s efforts to regulate the people from cradle to grave. To rescue us from our troubled lives, the liberal agenda recommends denial of personal responsibility, encourages self-pity and other-pity, fosters government dependency, promotes sexual indulgence, rationalizes violence, excuses financial obligation, justifies theft, ignores rudeness, prescribes complaining and blaming, denigrates marriage and the family, legalizes all abortion, defies religious and social tradition, declares inequality unjust, and rebels against the duties of citizenship.”

Has anyone here read this book?

      1. Your link is to a blog called “americanloons.” The term “loon” has been hijacked by the Leftists, so you are simply citing a view expressed by a Leftist. (For another example of the Leftists’ hijacking of “loon,”
see the pro-Islam website, loonwatch.com, a darling of Leftists everywhere.)

Thus, in effect, what you’re really saying–in citing your link–is that to determine whether a group of psychiatrists has made an accurate analysis and diagnosis of the inmates of the insane asylum, we should go to the inmates at the insane asylum to ask if they concur. So, of course, the inmates will not concur with the psychiatrists’ analysis and diagnosis.

But trying to argue logic with a Leftist is like thinking that if you speak French to a poodle, the poodle will understand what you’ve said. It’s just not going to happen, no matter how hard you try.

I think it is interesting when someone tells us a bit about how they go about understanding the world, especially when they touch on their understanding of the political process.

I wonder why you would characterize Turley as a leftist?

And if the tool you use for analysis lumps the John Turleys of the would with the James T. Hodgkinson of the world, I wonder how useful that tool could be?

If you tool cannot distinguish the outlook of John Turley from the outlook of James T. Hodgkinson then what exactly does that tool tell us?

      1. The outlooks of Turley and Hodgkinson overlap in many ways. I’ve pointed out several times that Turley has rationalized violence against non-Leftists. Other Leftists like former actor Robert De Niro express the wish to punch a non-Leftist authority figure in the face. Other Leftists like Madonna exprfess the wish to burn down the White when occupied by non-Leftists. Other Leftists like Hodgkinson pick up on those message and actually carry out violence. Some Leftists seek to destory Civilization with weapons; others seek the same goal with words. Both are symbiotic twins of Leftism. That is why I’m interested in learning if anyone has read the book describing the psychopathology of Leftism of all types.

        1. “The outlooks of Turley and Hodgkinson overlap in many ways. I’ve pointed out several times that Turley has rationalized violence against non-Leftists. ”

I wonder if you see any key issues that you think characterize the left where Turley has expressed his personal support?

I exclude legal cases that he has argued since an attorney should be able to give the best representation to his client without regard to the attorneys personal position.

  3. It is just a matter of how humans work. I can read through the comments on this event and we see that there is some consensus that no matter how peaceful one claims there is still the small percent that are unhinged. All of us are going to go through a time of change. Some people that are not accepting it will do interesting things. I guess we can call this the time of the good, the bad and the ugly. The small bit players in our current episode like Griffin are are not important in the current opera. It has been historically that we poster boy the right as violent where as history tells us the collectivists are far more so. Always. It will really come down to who you decide you want as a neighbor. Do you want someone who will take your money to get by or produce something that you will buy.

  4. The Left and the MSM have been encouraging violence against Trump and the Republicans for over 1 year now. As Scott Adams said, if you call a group of people Nazi’s and their leader Hitler long enough some nut will believe it and try to “stop Hitler”.

It doesn’t matter that 99.9% of Leftists can see Griffin decapitate Trump or laugh at Trump being “assassinated” in a Shakespeare play or read someone like Kieth Olbermann rage with hatred at Republicans – and do nothing.

All it takes is a couple left-wing nuts with guns to kill the POTUS or Republican Congressman. The Left and the MSM need to dial back the hatred and appeals to violence (overt and covert) or we’re going to have some dead politicians on our hands.

    HE ‘RESISTANCE’ GOES LIVE-FIRE

    June 14, 2017

The explosion of violence against conservatives across the country is being intentionally ginned up by Democrats, reporters, TV hosts, late-night comedians and celebrities, who compete with one another to come up with the most vile epithets for Trump and his supporters.

They go right up to the line, trying not to cross it, by, for example, vamping with a realistic photo of a decapitated Trump or calling the president a “piece of s—” while hosting a show on CNN.

The media are orchestrating a bloodless coup, but they’re perfectly content to have their low-IQ shock troops pursue a bloody coup.

This week, one of the left’s foot soldiers gunned down Republican members of Congress and their staff while they were playing baseball in Virginia. Democratic Socialist James Hodgkinson was prevented from committing a mass murder only by the happenstance of a member of the Republican leadership being there, along with his 24-hour Capitol Police protection.

Remember when it was frightening for the losing party not to accept the results of an election? During the third debate, Trump refused to pre-emptively agree to the election results, saying he’d “look at it at the time.”

The media responded in their usual laid-back style:

A ‘HORRIFYING’ REPUDIATION OF DEMOCRACY — The Washington Post, Oct. 20, 2016

DENIAL OF DEMOCRACY — Daily News (New York), Oct. 20, 2016 DANGER TO DEMOCRACY — The Dallas Morning News, Oct. 20, 2016

ONE SCARY MOMENT; IT ALL BOILED DOWN TO … DEMOCRACY — Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Oct. 21, 2016

“(Shock) spiked down the nation’s spinal column last night and today when the Republican nominee threatened that this little election thing you got there, this little democratic process you’ve got here, it’s nice, it’s fine, but he doesn’t necessarily plan on abiding by its decision when it comes to the presidency.” — Rachel Maddow, Oct. 20, 2016

“Trump’s answer on accepting the outcome of the vote is the most disgraceful statement by a presidential candidate in 160 years.” — Bret Stephens, then-deputy editorial page editor at The Wall Street Journal

“I guess we’re all going to have to wait until Nov. 9 to find out if we still have a country — if Donald Trump is in the mood for a peaceful transfer of power. Or if he’s going to wipe his fat a– with the Constitution.” — CBS’s Stephen Colbert, Oct. 19, 2016

“It’s unprecedented for a nominee of a major party to themselves signal that they would not accept — you know, respect the results of an election. We’ve never had that happen before. … This really presents a potentially difficult problem for governing …” — MSNBC’S Joy Reid, Oct. 22, 2016

“This is very dangerous stuff … would seriously impair our functioning as a democracy. … This is about as serious as it gets in the United States.” — CNN’s Peter Beinart, Oct. 20, 2016

“Obviously, it’s despicable for him to pretend that there’s any chance that he would not accept the results of this election; it would be — in 240 years you’ve never had anybody do it. …” — CNN’s Van Jones, Oct. 20, 2016

Then Trump won, and these very same hysterics refused to accept the results of the election.

Recently, Hillary announced her steadfast opposition to the winning candidate using a military term, saying she’d joined the “Resistance.”

Imagine if Trump lost and then announced that he’d joined the “RESISTANCE.” He’d be accused of trying to activate right-wing militias. Every dyspeptic glance at an immigrant would be reported as fascistic violence.

But the media seem blithely unaware that the anti-Trump “Resistance” has been accompanied by nonstop militaristic violence from liberals.

When Trump ripped up our Constitution and jumped all over it by failing to concede the election three weeks in advance, CNN ran a segment on a single tweet from a random Trump supporter that mentioned the Second Amendment.

Carol Costello: “Still to come in the ‘Newsroom,’ some Trump supporters say they will refuse to accept a loss on Election Day, with one offering a threat of violence. We’ll talk about that next.”

In CNN’s most fevered dreams about a violent uprising of Trump supporters, they never could have conceived of the level of actual violence being perpetrated by Americans who refuse to accept Trump’s win. (See Hate Map.)

It began with Trump’s inauguration, when a leftist group plotted to pump a debilitating gas into one Trump inaugural ball, military families were assaulted upon leaving the Veterans’ Inaugural Ball, and attendees of other balls had water thrown on them.

Since then, masked, armed liberals around the country have formed military-style organizations to beat up conservatives. In liberal towns, the police are regularly ordered to stand down to allow the assaults to proceed unimpeded.

The media only declared a crisis when conservatives fought back, smashing the black-clad beta males. (“Battle for Berkeley!”)

There is more media coverage for conservatives’ “microaggressions” toward powerful minorities -– such as using the wrong pronoun — than there is for liberals’ physical attacks on conservatives, including macings, concussions and hospitalizations.

And now some nut Bernie Sanders-supporter confirms that it’s Republicans standing on a baseball field, before opening fire.

In the media’s strategic reporting of the attempted slaughter, we were quickly told that the mass shooter was white, male and had used a gun. We were even told his name. (Because it was not “Mohammed.”)

But the fact that Hodgkinson’s Facebook page featured a banner of Sanders and the words “Democratic Socialism explained in 3 words: ‘We the People’ Since 1776” apparently called for hours of meticulous fact-checking by our media.

Did reporters think they could keep that information from us forever?

The fake news insists that Trump’s White House is in “chaos.” No, the country is in chaos. But just like Kathy Griffin and her Trump decapitation performance art — the perpetrators turn around in doe-eyed innocence and blame Trump.

  6. Too bad the shooters dead. Nobody to punish now but all the rest of us. Take away some more rights. Impose some more authoritarian BS on everyone (call it good policy, i.e. law) and sooner or later the superstition that one group of murderers and thieves 9aka government0 will protect us from the rest of the worlds murderers and thieves can finally be proven valid.

In the meantime I have some beach-front property in Arizona I will sell you really cheap.

  7. Here is a really good editorial by Daniel Greenfield:

The “Resistance” Shot A Republican Congressman Today

After losing the election, Democrats decided to rebrand as the “Resistance”. Now Resistance street violence has escalated into an assassination. But that’s what a “Resistance” does.

If Republicans are just fascists and President Trump is a tinpot dictator, well you shoot fascists and dictators, don’t you?

Our political system depends on a consensus. Everyone fights it out at election time. And then goes back to work the next day. When you reject the results of an election and try to reverse it, some will try to reverse it with fake news scandals and impeachment efforts.

Others will just pick up a gun.

And there’s no point in pretending that James Hodgkinson wasn’t a product of the left’s hate machine which encompasses everything from the evening news to the crazier sites out there. When James Hodgkinson declared that it’s time to “destroy” Trump, how many on the left would have disagreed?

The only question is how many more like James Hodgkinson are there out there?

There are two ways to look at a “Resistance”. Either they’re correct and we’re living under a fascist dictatorship and then any and all tactics to overthrow it, including shooting Republicans and the children of their staffers practicing for a charity baseball game, are on the table.

    Or they’re terrorists.

The left is a terrorist organization. The Resistance Democrats that allowed these radicals to take over and joined them are turning their political faction into a terrorist organization.

The test is easy. It goes beyond just condemning James Hodgkinson. The real test is how many elected Dem officials after this will reject the rhetoric and branding of the “Resistance”. How many of them will have the courage to condemn it?

I’m going to guess between 1 and 0.

  8. These comments are insane.

If the shooter went after Democrats instead and happened to worship Reagan, the blind partisans here would pre-complain about talk of gun-control and how the shooter alone should be accountable, and should not be associated with anything right-wing, especially talk radio, which is a very calm and intelligent arena.

The shooter, is accountable. If he was motivated by hatred or by video games or by divorce or by childhood bullying, the actions are his alone.

The snowflakes on the right (and left) are why we all have to exist in this blizzard of unending bullsh*t.

    The Clintons. Waaaaa.

    1. Dave137 – the shooter is responsible but others may have pushed him over the edge. They are accomplices.

      1. Paul

Of course you mean anyone on the left, all progressives, etc. There seems to be a lot of happy campers on this blog. That’s the scary thing. This guy was simply nuts. He seems to have validated many who post here. It might be a good idea to read some of the postings, carefully.

    2. On the off chance that you are just not very good at rational analysis, and not just a Democratic Party shill, let me explain the difference to you.

The “violence” associated with the GOP comes from commentators who are scared by the Gadsen Flag, or people dressing up like Revolutionary War soldiers. The GOP is associated with “violence” by a Sarah Plain ads with a crosshairs on various states. Or Donald Trumps words, “Get him out of here.” In other words, the GOP “violence” is an imaginary one, dreamed up by DNC strategists.

The “violence” associated with the DNC, on the other hand, is REAL violence. It is students shutting down a Trump rally in Chicago. It is Berkeley students actually rioting and throwing things. It is Republican/right wing speakers being forcibly prevented from exercising their free speech rights on college campuses. Etc. Etc. Etc.

Do you see the difference, now??? The DNC is silent in the face of real, actual political violence done by their base. Then, on the rhetoric side, as opposed to “Get them out of here!”, you have Kathy Griffin with a severed head, or these various violence inciting statements:

      http://bigleaguepolitics.com/ten-times-democrats-glorified-violence-republicans-since-election-day/

Do you see the difference yet? It might be a throw away line that “all parties do this sort of stuff”, but no. They don’t. The GOP base doesn’t go around shutting down free speech rights with violence or riots.

    3. Dave, you are so full of it that if you could run a pipeline from your rear-end to a natural gas power plant, you could provide electricity to run California for 24 hours.

There ARE no shooters going after Leftists. The shooters are ALL Leftists and ONLY Leftists. But as a Leftist yourself, lying and deception is critical to any statement you make. You may choose to pretend that the MSM, the Leftist celebrities, and the Leftist oligarchs are not running a relentless and continuous campaign to spread as much violence and hate against non-Leftists, but nobody with any intelligence and common sense believes a word of your gassss.

For your deviant enjoyment, here’s a video that you will love and perhaps even find sexually arousing, given your Leftist perversions:

  9. Jon Turley says: “James D. Hodgkinson should not really be blamed for the attempted murders because Hodgkinson was genuinely motivated by disdain for Trump’s policies, and Trump tends to bring out the worst in people.”

Classic Leftist Turley. (Although he did not make this specific statement, he certainly was thinking it.)

    1. This is part of the Clinton strategy. You tell the story long enough, and you can get the fringe elements to get the ball rolling for you. Didn’t really work with Pu$$y Riot though. But even that ridiculousness came close.

    2. “Classic Leftist Turley. (Although he did not make this specific statement, he certainly was thinking it.)”

Wait a minute!!! You expect us to hold Turley accountable for what you claim that Turley was thinking?????

      1. Yes, Turley should absolutely be held to what he’s thinking. I find it very easy to read Turley’s thoughts because he’s so predictible and Leftists are always a one note samba with their Leftist propaganda talking points. Thus, Turley chooses to blame Trump and the victims for violent actions taken by Leftists against non-Leftists, rather than blaming the Leftists themselves. This is a ironclad principle of Leftism.

But if you insist on reading an actual Turley statement, where he did articulate his thought, here it is: “President Trump sometimes appears to bring out the worst in people. His taunting of protesters seemed to push many protesters to become violent.” See his article from The Swill: http://thehill.com/blogs/pundits-blog/immigration/330584-california-judge-jumped-the-gun-in-rush-to-block-trumps

Other Leftists, of course, agree 100% with Turley, and chose to blame the victims or Trump himself, rather than the Leftists when they commit acts of violence and even murder.

        Here’s another example:

“Donald Trump Brings Out The Worst In Us.” http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/fransi-weinstein/donald-trump-worst-of-us_b_12354206.html

        1. “Yes, Turley should absolutely be held to what he’s thinking.”

Oh my!!! The left has speech crimes. But count on the right to come through with something better – thought crimes!!!!!

And how do we know what someone is thinking? Well, we have Turley’s readers to tell us -not what the reader is thinking – the readers tell us what Turley is thinking.

I am impressed. It is truly amazing.

If we want to know what Turley is thinking we only have to ask someone who reads his blog. And from what that reader says we can and should hold Turley accountable – for having bad thoughts.

I can’t wait till we get some of these highly sensitive readers into LE. We won’t even need evidence. Just let them testify about the bad thoughts of the defendant – hopefully before any physical crime has been committed.

It is going to be wonderful future.

          1. I knew EXACTLY what YOU were going say before you said it as well because your thoughts are NOT original. They are the same, boring, repetitive, redundant Leftist canards that ALL Leftists think.

And the thoughts of Leftists are revealed almost as much by what they DON’T say as what they do say. For example, following the attacks by the Bernie Sanders supporter on non-Leftists, Bernie Sanders made a statement “condemning” the attacks, as noted in the vfirst video below. But note in that first video that Sanders does NOT tell his supporters that they must follow the law and protest non-violently. he is SILENT on that CRITICAL and VITAL point. Why? Because he APPROVES of Leftist violence. In fact, he LOVES it. That is clear in the second video, where Sanders encourages his supporters to attack any opponents to Leftism by any means necessary.

            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWxcML425NE

            1. And, of course, Sander’s borrows his speaking style from his fellow Leftist buddy Hitler, who shares the very same Socialist philosphy. Naturally, if Hitler were alive today, he’d be very angry that his good buddy Sanders didn’t win the primary. (And please don’t give any crap that Hitler wouldn’t have backed Sanders because Sanders has Jewish heritage. Sanders is a LEFTIST first, and there’s NOTHING Jewish about him, and he HATES Israel, as ALL Leftists do.)

            2. “I knew EXACTLY what YOU were going say before you said it as well because your thoughts are NOT original. They are the same, boring, repetitive, redundant Leftist canards that ALL Leftists think. ”

I never claimed originality, only accuracy. Clearly you have gone far beyond the left’s speech crimes into a completely different realm, thought crimes!

How can you possibly claim that I have mentioned canards – unfounded rumors or stories. You yourself have claimed the ability to tell what Turley is thinking and urged us to hold him accountable for what you say he is thinking.

Canard??? It does not get much more accurate than that! You claim that we should hold Turley accountable on the basis of what you say he is thinking. Canard – my aching foot!!!

I have no idea whether anyone on the left agrees with me or not. I don’t speak for them, any more than you speak for the right. Uhhhh … Ralph, you do understand that you speak for no one except your self – right? you do understand that? Don’t you?

But I truly hope the thoughtful individuals reading this blog will consider your remarks and evaluate whether it is a canard that you have claimed the ability to know Turleys thoughts, I hope the readers will consider whether is a canard that you claimed that we should hold Turley responsible for your claims regarding what Turley is thinking.

Thought Crimes! Right here in America! Because … Because …. well because Mr. Adamo says so. That’s why.

BTW, if you really have the ability to tell what people are thinking, would you please let TSA know what your technique is. I think it might speed up the boarding lines considerably.

Let me thank you in advance for helping you fellow countrymen – at least the ones who fly and have to wait for TSA to search all those bags and shoes.

You heard it here first, folks. Ralph Adamo knows what your are thinking and is going to hold you accountable if you are having the wrong kind of thoughts. Uh Oh! Must think pleasant thoughts, must think pleasant thoughts …..

BTW, Ralph, it has been a little touch and go around here since that unfortunate incident back in ’07. Maybe you could use that thought thing of yours and give me a few tips for the market. It would sure help out and I would really appreciate it.

Thanks again, Ralph. It may not be original to say this, but I think your are truly an exceptional person – with that thought thing of yours. But you already knew that I was thinking that, right?

              1. Just in case anyone finds it too tiring to scroll back to check Ralph Adamo’s remarks concerning his ability to know Turley’s thoughts, I have found one here at June 15, 2017 at 12:45 am where Ralph writes: “I find it very easy to read Turley’s thoughts”.

In that same post he also tells us that Turley should be held accountable for his thoughts: ” Yes, Turley should absolutely be held to what he’s thinking.”

I think the plain language demonstrates that Ralph believes individuals, at least Turley, should be held accountable by the community for what Ralph believes the individual is thinking.

                1. bfm – I find this blog like those inane discussions we would have in college where we would solve the problems of the world. I never took anyone too seriously in those and I don’t here. I disagree with Ralph, I think it is a step to far to penalize someone for what we think they are thinking or even knowing what they are thinking. I especially think it is hard to decipher what teachers are thinking, since they sometimes play the Devil’s Advocate to get responses from their students.

                  1. Thanks for your remarks. I think those discussions from college is a pretty apt analogy.

Well what would the world, or this blog, be without a little ranting once in a while. At least here, our energized voices are not keeping some poor kid from getting some sleep before his exam.

                2. Bfm,
I disagree with Ralph as well.
                  Thought crimes are Orwellian.

“For seven years the Thought Police had watched him like a beetle under a magnifiying glass. There was no physical act, no word spoken aloud, that they had not noticed, no train of thought that they had not been able to infer.”

                  1. Thank you for your remarks.

I think that freedom of expression is under attack and more threatened that at any other time in my life. In my opinion the attacks arise mostly from the left.

But occasionally I hear of a threat that goes beyond what I hear from the left.

The claim that we can know a person’s thoughts and should hold them responsible for those thoughts is far beyond anything that I have heard from the left.

What is even more disturbing is the fact that the concept of thought crime seems to be acceptable to more than a few who read and comment on this blog.

I believe there is no way any of us can really know what someone else is thinking. And I believe that we are all entitled to our own thoughts. Could there be anything that is more authentically ours than our thoughts?

If you believe as I do, then the way to deal with a threat is to engage it, to confront it, to bring the problem to the attention of others for their consideration. That is what I have tried to do here.

                    1. This is why many people are visiting this blog less and less often. An entire string of drivel about a person who can read JT’s mind and thinks he should be punished for his alleged thoughts. The right wing wackos are sabotaging the Turley blog with massive doses of stupidity.
Is this what intelligent people are now discussing?

                    2. This is why many people are visiting this blog less and less often.

Don’t let the door hit your tuchus on the way out.

                3. I withdrawal my comment about the “thoughts” of Leftists. They do not actually qualify as genuine thoughts. My comment is mistaken because it elevated Leftist statements to the level of actual thoughts. Regurgitation of shopworn Leftist bullet points, mantras, and propaganda recitations aren’t genuine thoughts.

I hope that this settles this matter. Thank you.

                  1. “I withdrawal my comment about the “thoughts” of Leftists. They do not actually qualify as genuine thoughts.”

My remarks were never about the quality of thought or opinion expressed by those on the left.

I attempted to point out that no individual, not your or anyone else, can truly know the thoughts of another.

In addition I object to your claim that the community should penalize anyone for their thoughts.

The last thing we need in this country is someone going around and penalizing individuals for their thoughts.

                    1. Whether you realize it or not, BFM, that is precisely what YOU have been doing to Ralph. How deliciously ironic. Denouncing him for having the audacity to have different perspective than your own. Condemning him for being capable of discerning another’s viewpoint and opinion via the multitude of articles written by that particular individual. . .articles that span a rather substantial length of time; you castigate him for the ability to deduce a worldview that has been demonstrated and displayed, repeatedly, over a period of years through a series of written pieces. How ironic that you don’t realize that you are committing the same sin of which you accuse him.

  10. My thoughts and prayers are with those injured this morning by political extremism.

Once you define half the country as evil, then you can justify the most vile acts as “fighting the good fight.” Madonna wanted to blow up the White House with the First Family inside. Kathy Griffin held Trump’s bloody severed head in effigy. Even Shakespeare in the Park has become extremist, casting Trump as Caesar. How can you wrong someone evil? And a disturbing percentage of people on the Left, and academia, actually believe that half the country is evil. Combine that with the belief of Progressives that they have a Manifest Destiny to force their will upon us for our own good. (I refer you to the CA Road Diet where Progressives are deliberately taking away half the roads in the most gridlocked state in the nation because they think less people will die in traffic accidents if traffic is gridlocked. Of course this drives angry frustrated drivers into residential areas where kids play, once again hurting those they claim to help.)

Is this going to snap extremists out of it, or will they think this is good progress?

    Snap out of it people!

    1. Looks like the Clintons will win out after all. This seems to be following the series of events I read about after the election. She will be glad to destroy the country if she can get control. Her weak-minded minions are falling in line.

      1. slohrss – NOPE there is a serious resistance to the DNC establishment

        1. I am hopeful, but not optimistic Autumn. I thought an episode of Road Runner vs. Coyote had more of a basis in reality than this whole Russia fiasco–and look where we are. We’ll have to watch the spin closely in coming days. We know they will tell any story. They have soooo much practice from all the other places they have destroyed with their color revolutions. Will they blame and attack the capitol police? Will they start honoring the shooter’s life as a segue to martyrdom? It could be a dicey road going forward from here. As we have seen many times on this blog, issac, jays, and anon are at the standby waiting to feed on the next dish of the Clinton information machine. Burnett, Zakaria at CNN, Maddow at MSN, and the rest are awaiting “papers.”

  11. While we all debate, please remember that we have two men presently in critical condition. Two men with families who deserve our support, thoughts and prayers (if you pray).

  12. We need a conversation about how violent this govt. is. We just used white phosphorus on civilians, a war crime. USGinc is selling weapons all over the place. USGinc supports ISIS, the list is endless. In the meantime it would appear that the DNC has been having some members make threats against those who seek to have their fraud exposed: http://disobedientmedia.com/2017/06/watch-attorneys-in-dnc-fraud-lawsuit-seek-courts-protection-cite-seth-rich/

This is one murderous govt. and it has all sorts of violent subsets of interested parties who like to profit off violence. So yes, let’s have a conversation about left wing violence. It is clearly a real problem but it is taking place within a much larger extraordinarily violent govt., be they “left” or “right”.

  13. “One Down, 216 to Go”: Post-Shooting Email to Republican Congresswoman

    June 14, 2017

    Daniel Greenfield

We need to have a national dialogue about left-wing extremism.

What happened today was not the lone act of an unhinged gunman, but the “Resistance” terrorism that the left and their Democrat useful idiots have been championing. The left is a terrorist organization. And its media hate machine’s goal has been to churn out the likes of James T. Hodgkinson, the Bernie Sanders volunteer and Elizabeth Warren supporter, who tried to murder Republican members of Congress.

And the machine is still going.

The office of Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-N.Y.) received a threatening email with the subject line “One down, 216 to go…,” shortly after a shooter opened fire on GOP lawmakers who were at a congressional baseball practice, according to her office.

The person who sent the email then wrote in the body of the email, “Did you NOT expect this?”

None of this has been happening in a vacuum.

The FBI arrested a TUSD employee on suspicion of threatening U.S. Rep. Martha McSally.

FBI agents arrested Steve Martan, 58, in connection with three messages left on the congressional office voicemail on May 2 and May 10, according to a criminal complaint filed May 12 in U.S. District Court in Tucson. Martan is a campus monitor at Miles Exploratory Learning Center in the Tucson Unified School District. He was placed on home assignment and told not to come into work as the district investigates the allegations.

The voicemails contained threats to McSally, including that she should “be careful” when she returns to Tucson and that her days “were numbered.” He threatened to shoot her in one of the expletive-filled messages.

This has been escalating for a while.

A Tennessee woman is facing a felony charge after allegedly chasing down a car carrying Rep. David Kustoff (R-Tenn.) on Monday after a town hall event.

Wendi Wright, who lives in Kustoff’s district, is accused of chasing a car carrying Kustoff and an aide along the highway after leaving a town hall event at the University of Tennessee at Martin, according to WBBJ West Tennessee.

She is being charged with a reckless endangerment felony.

Kustoff’s car then pulled over into a driveway, and Wright allegedly left her vehicle to scream and hit the windows of the car.

This has been the campaign of hate that the left has set off. Now it finally paid off with the first major act of Resistance terror.

“This is how we’re going to kill your wife.”

That’s the message Rep. Tom Garrett (R-Va.) said he received in a series of recent threats that targeted him, his family and even, at one point, his dog. And it’s the reason, he said, that his town hall here in this sleepy Virginia community on Tuesday night was ringed by law enforcement.

We need to have a national conversation about the left’s hate machine and its media allies. And its linkages to left-wing terror.

  14. The play, the head, these shootings (Virginia and San Francisco). We seem to put our lives in jeopardy just leaving the house. Why would anyone have a head depicting Trump with blood all over it? Just to help her career? Why would anyone want to participate in a play depicting the ultra violent attack on a pseudo-Caesar who looks like Trump? There is government money in this play via grants. Who approved the grants? Fire him/her! Violent protestors, no matter their age, should be jailed for a period of time. A real lesson for our “snowflakes”. Every member should be required to read the words that are unacceptable when they enter the floor. Democrats quit talking impeachment; millions of voters are getting very angry, and many own guns. As was the case in Virginia. See the picture that gunman held “Tax The Rich”, homemade. Bernie Sanders recognizes that phrase he used over and over may have been too much. Everyone quit vilifying the President. House and Senate floors should have fines for anyone breaking the rules. Time to grow up everyone. And I don’t mean just the young.

  15. The “Resistance” Shot a Republican Congressman Today

    June 14, 2017

    Daniel Greenfield
