If the expression of Brandy Lerma, 31, seems a bit shocked, it may be in response to the results of her blood alcohol level.
The Florida woman was stopped after being reported for swerving and almost hitting four nearby cars according to WPEC. To make matters worse, she unrestrained 3-year-old in the backseat. She then flunked a sobriety test and blew a .200. The legal blood alcohol level limit in Florida is .08.
If that was not enough, Lerma launched into a verbal tirade and began kicking the backseat of the cruiser. “I will kill you!”
She did reportedly get to the more pressing and relevant question: “Who is taking care of my child?”
Who’s taking care of her child? Is that a rhetorical question, because it sure isn’t her. Damn her for drinking and driving with that little girl in the car. She clearly can’t be responsible. I hope there are stable, loving people in the family who can take care of the child.
I honestly thought the mug shot was photoshopped. Maybe her humiliation will make her seek treatment.
Unfortunately florida sunshine laws allow invasion of privacy like this mug shot….but hippa will bury the truth.
Forget the BAC. She’s got a kid. I can’t stop thinking about the fact that some human–well, I assume that it was human–actually CHOSE to mate with this swamp creature, thereby producing an offspring. We should, instead, 0be discussing what his BAC was at the time of that inopportune and untimely copulation. Now, there’s a discussion.

As a nursing professional, my initial inclination was Exopthalmos resulting from Hyperthyroidism when I viewed the bulging eyes. A very bizarre but interesting mugshot.

Brandy made 2 mistakes. 1 was the freak out in cop car. 2 not wearing ski goggles to hide her eyes. Watch the guy who can read your mind & then takes off his ski goggles.

Go with the Tiger Woods defense. If she has Ambien in her system she is a shoo-in for a reduced sentence.
This could well be a DUI issue as assumed.
But that look could also be a hallmark presentation of a thyroid condiition.
Not disputing the first, but trying to raise awareness of the second.

Not a problem. Use the “Tiger Woods” defense. A little touch of rehab and you’re good to go. Besides, she probably had “no intent.”
