Knyckare acknowledged the shoddy logic of her discrimination but somehow converted it into a rationale: “All men are not rapists, but almost all rapes are carried out by men. We want to create a free space, a cool festival where women can be without feeling worried.” So it is enough to engage in open discrimination if it makes some people less “worried.” That are plenty of discriminatory groups that would readily embrace that logic to ban blacks or Jews or lesbians or transgender people.
I am unfamiliar with Knyckare comedic work but none of this is particularly funny.
The women-only concert is a result of a July 2017 concert in Sweden, during which four rapes and 23 sexual assaults occurred over the course of the four-day festival. The year before, in 2016, five rapes and 12 sexual assaults were reported at the same festival.
As a result of the rapes and sex assaults, the 2018 concert has been cancelled, and a women-only concert has been scheduled.
Allowing males who identify as women (or even considering it) illustrates the absurdity of gender identity ideology. Any male who says they are a woman *IS a woman* under gender identity ideology, and must be given unrestricted access into any female-only space. So basically, any man who wants access to female-only spaces only has to declare his womanhood for the day, or the extended weekend of the music festival.
Sweden wasn’t known for its ‘rape culture’ prior to opening the gate to thousands upon thousands of immigrants, in particular, males. A few short years ago Sweden was considered one of the safest places in the world. I doubt that hundreds of ethnic Swedes became rapists overnight. I’ve lived in the Middle East. Western women who look Western, dress Western (no matter how conservative Western), act Western– speak English, are treated– if they are lucky, with the utmost disrespect. It’s common to be verbally harassed, physically grabbed, even assaulted. Try waiting at a bus stop and see how many hands are thrust down your pants or up your shirt. And don’t even think about going out alone after dark.

Good for them. If the state cannot or will not address the rape culture in that society then the people will go to extraordinary lengths to provide their own security. I’m not sure how they will handle those that claim to identify as a female.though.

Actually, Sweden has a serious problem with Muslim men raping women at or after concerts. I am of two minds on this one. The rape problem is so serious Sweden refuses to publish the actual totals, so we don’t have the numbers. Sorry guys here goes your Happiness Scale for Sweden. So, the idea of a male free concert makes sense from a safety viewpoint. I think Japan is running female-only subway cars because of the molesters on the trains. You are packed in so tight, you cannot tell who it is. If it is not Japan, it is somebody else like India.
On the other hand, it still does leave a target rich zone for after the concert. The rapists do not even have to buy a ticket for a concert, just have to wait in the avenues leading from the venue to strike. This is basically what they did on New Year’s Eve.
All that being said, I would rather the Swedish police do their jobs and arrest the Muslim or any other rapists and they are deported if they are immigrants. And jailed if they are not. This is really a problem the Swedish government has allowed to get out of control. And it appears they are doing nothing about it.
Maybe this male-free concert will get the attention of the Swedish government and they will realize that women are taking their lives into their own hands since they cannot depend on the Swedish police or Swedish government to protect them. I hope they all go home in groups of thirty or so to ward off the rapists and I hope they have a great concert. Break a leg, girls!!!!!
