Washington Prepares For Final Week With New Sexual Harassment Cases and A Final Tax Vote

There is a rumor of more members being axed in the coming week over sexual harassment as Washington prepares for the final tax vote.  Ok, it was just an excuse to show this incredible picture from a Leningrad gas mask drill in 1939.

Among the latest figures embroiled in a prior undisclosed sexual harassment settlement is Chris Matthews.

This is from my favorite Reddit site HistoryPorn.

    1. 79.720 144 spent on Vincent Foster/Lewinsky/Whitewater investigations- three incidents that had zero impact on the nation.
What was Schaife’s (richest 0.1%) involvement in instigating and prolonging the investigation of the Clinton’s?

        1. Speculating on the motivations of valueless scum like Schaife, is a fool’s errand.
Thanks for the links. Deducing… the right wing propaganda against Hillary must originate in the Kremlin.
CAP, the Podesto Group, Media Matters, Act Blue aren’t adverse to right wing big business interests and, Hillary invited billionaire Bloomberg to speak at the convention while, Nina Turner (now head of Sanders’ Our Revolution) was denied her time at the podium. During Obama’s 8 years, Dems lost 1000 seats-the marriage with the predatory rich is an example of the wealthy hedging their bets.

          1. “During Obama’s 8 years, Dems lost 1000 seats-the marriage with the predatory rich”

Not only was there a marriage with the predatory rich but also to terrorism in the name of Hezbollah and a billion dollar a year drug operation protected by Obama. That is killing our youth and is responsible for black youth crime, drugs, and death. Also involved with Hezbollah (not on video) seems to be the Pakistani IT worker that had access to many Democratic legislator’s computers with secret information on them. Debbie Wasserman Shultz seems to be quite involved with this fellow and I’ll bet she has been blackmailed, perhaps along with a bunch of other Democrats.

Talk about intrigue, what is more interesting and proven than the foibles of Obama.

            1. Republicans will always top Dems when it involves corrupt behavior. Repubs are in a league all of their own.
There’s no Dem remotely similar to Breitbart’s Bannon, Murdoch’s Hannity, etc.

The hacked e-mails of the DNC were released. We can speculate the blackmail possible in the hacked RNC e-mails.

              1. Linda – the hacked emails are because Podesta could not follow instructions from his own IT people. He opened the floodgate. You would think someone who hangs pornography on his bedroom wall would be better at password protection. 🙂

              2. Amazing, Linda. You must be over abusing those happy pills because it is quite obvious you don’t know what you are talking about.

    1. At Politico today, “Evangelical leader denounces Trump, then the death threats started” and, from Shareblue, “Unemployment rising in swing states that supported Trump”.

  2. Sexual harassment and a head of the woman’s movement that marched on Washington wearing Vagina hats, Linda Sarsour. It seems that to some and virtually all leftists the woman’s movement doesn’t extend past certain imposed boundaries. That makes the movement into a farce.

‘Linda Sarsour Supervised My Sexual Assault’

Islamist apologist and self-styled “feminist” Linda Sarsour has been accused of “supervising” the sexual assault of another Muslim woman.

Asmi Fathelbab, a private contractor who worked under Sarsour for a year at the Arab American Association, provided a harrowing testimony of her experience for The Daily Caller.

Fathelabab recounts how she came to Sarsour after being repeatedly sexually assaulted by a Muslim man who lived in the same building as the Arab American Association. Sarsour called her a liar, saying that the Muslim man was God-fearing, told her to stop complaining and threatened to write her up for disciplinary action.

Sarsour further regularly body-shamed Fathelabab, saying that “something like this didn’t happen to women who looked like me” and threatened legal action against Fathelabab if she went public with the story.

A number of other women who worked with the Arab American Association corroborated the story and said it wasn’t the first time they had heard a complaint like this against Sarsour.

One woman, who worked for the Arab American Association for 12 years, said, “It’s always going to be the woman’s fault over there. And Sarsour was there to protect the men. She’s not for other women. The only women she’s for is for herself.”

“Sarsour is only a feminist outwardly,” another witness said, speaking on the condition of anonymity. “Her interactions toward women in that building were atrocious. She would protect the patriarchy and in return they would promote her.”

Fathelbab’s said that after her contract was up at the Arab American Association, Sarsour threatened to destroy her career.

“She told me I’d never work in NYC ever again for as long as she lived. She’s kept her word. She had me fired from other jobs when she found out where I worked. She has kept me from obtaining any sort of steady employment for almost a decade.”

The following is Fathelbab’s full testimony as published in The Daily Caller:

  3. Squeeky writes well but lives in Her Own Private Mississippi; I don’t believe a word of it.

    1. According to Britannica.com:

The word pornography, derived from the Greek porni (“prostitute”) and graphein (“to write”), was originally defined as any work of art or literature depicting the life of prostitutes.

Perhaps there’s a scurrilous connection between history and the world’s oldest profession.

  4. I find it curious that the trump-bots here repeatedly mention “DNC”, which I assume is the Democratic National Committee. Were the Republican and Democratic Parties’ re-election committees actually relevant to anything significant, I would expect to see “RNC” hyper-mentioned as well, yet I don’t recall any mention of “RNC”around here. Is this something that Pravda Faux News has recently ginned up to excite the rubes?

    1. I don’t think the RNC had a change in leadership near the time of their convention, or ended with two controversial figures leading the RNC.
As far as I know, the RNC didn’t hire a firm like Fusion GPS to gather Russian opposition research.
These factors might explain why the DNC was/is in the news more frequently.

      1. Ah, just so. Thanks. Did the gathering of this opposition research constitute violations of the law?

        1. Mark M.,
          I think it did.
But there is no shortage of opinions on the legality of using foreign sources for opposition research.
I don’t see anything close to a consensus in reading lawyers’ opinions on both sides of this.
I don’t know of a court case that’s dealt with this issue…..so as far as I know, the opinions I’ve seen are all based on differing interpretations of statutes.
Ultimately, the courts may decide this.
If they don’t, or if the language of the statutes isn’t tightened up, then we’ll continue to be in a grey area.

        2. When the “opposition research” uses a foreign intelligent agent, Christopher Steele, to spy on an American citizen when US Intelligence is forbidden by law to spy on American citizens without a warrant, it starts to get illegal. Then when that foreign agent pays Russians to phony up a dossier and that dossier is then presented to the FISA Court as if it’s FBI work product — all of the aforementioned being a reasonable deduction concerning what has happened — it gets REALLY unlawful.

          1. William Bayer, Christopher Steele did not spy on any American citizen. The FISA warrant for surveillance of Carter Page was based upon evidence the FBI had obtained independently of, and prior to, Steele’s intelligence reports to the FBI.

              1. Also from the Business Insider article:

The document itself was not central to the bureau’s argument before a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court judge that Page could have been acting as an agent of Russia . . . Page was already on the FBI’s radar because of his ties to a Russian spy who had posed as a UN attaché in New York City in 2013.

            1. From the linked article at Business Insider:

“Steve Slick, a former CIA operations officer and National Security Council official, told Business Insider that for the application to be approved, as it was in Page’s case, the FISC judge and the reviewing officials at the Department of Justice would have needed to be “satisfied” that the application, as a whole, had a “sufficient factual basis,” Slick said.

Rizzo, the CIA’s former chief counsel, agreed.

“From the FISA statute’s very beginning inn the late 70s, a FISA application has been subject to a rigorous screening and scrubbing process first inside the IC [intelligence community] and then by a group of career DOJ lawyers who do nothing else but this task,” he said. ” I am certain that anything contained in the Steele dossier would have been subject to even greater gimlet-eyed scrutiny given the provenance of the dossier — as ‘oppo’ research commissioned (if the media accounts are correct) by the Clinton campaign.”

              1. The allegation against Carter Page in the Steele dossier was consistent with evidence the FBI had already gathered on Carter Page. And that means that the FBI’s previously gathered evidence against Carter Page corroborated the Steele dossier’s allegation against Carter Page. Remember: The FBI doesn’t have to corroborate the whole dossier in order to corroborate a part of the dossier. Conversely, if a part of the dossier remains uncorroborated or unverified, the remaining parts of the dossier could still be corroborated or verified. Perhaps the time has come to dispense with the usual fallacies of composition.

          2. William Bayer, take note of the disjointed comments that have arisen below by Diane apparently to prove something. Diane believes a bridge is complete and ready for traffic if half is built in one place and the other half somewhere down the river. She is drowning because of her inability to build a bridge that connects one side to the other.

    2. so many negative associations with the DNC – rigging the primaries, mysterious deaths of Seth Rich and Shawn Lucas information of major players via Wikileaks, former chair Wasserman Schulz fired for “shenanigans” and resurfaced with Awan brothers scandal

RNC did not have such issues

      1. Well, we made it for a whole three hours before the first murder conspiracy tale appeared. Fluoridation is undoubtedly next on the conspiracy docket.

  5. I have my Jazziz CD in, and somebody named Harold Mabern is playing My Funny Valentine so I am in a mellow, poetic frame of mind:

    Bloomers
A Short Poem by Squeeky Fromm

A Little Flower said one day,
I want a bee to come my way
And take me on little date
Where we can sit and pollinate. . .
And if it pollinates just right,
Then many blooms will be in sight!.

A Little Woman said one day,
I want a man to come my way,
    A millionaire, a penthouse suite,
Then afterwards, I’ll snatch the sheet.
And tell my Mum about the night!
Then Lisa Bloom will be in sight!
