In Rathdrum, Idaho, Brett K. Anderson, 47, does not appear to have seriously thought out his criminal scheme. Anderson is accused of stealing 40 foot sections of irrigation pipe and then driving down the highway with the pipes sticking out the car windows. He proceeded to hit other cars with pipes before being pulled over by police.
Anderson allegedly stole the pipe section from a farm and was trying to bring them to a recycling facility with the pipe sticking out of his Silver Chevy Impala. He might hahve made it if it were not for his whacking cars along the way.
He is now facing changes possession of stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia as well as petit theft and reckless driving. He hit at least three cars in his modern version of the Ben Hur chariot race.
What I fail to understand is how recycling center can just take such material from people seeking payment without proof of lawful ownership.
Mostly off topic trash for recycling velow.
Turley, it happens all the time in California. There’s an entire subculture of people that subsist by taking things to recycling centers for cash. They go through people’s trash and pick what they think they can get a buck off of. They steal copper out of wiring in the dead of night.
I’ll have to post this again when we get a Muellar Troll Indictment article, but, it is very insightful!

Squeeky,..
There is no indication that Mueller is considering action against those involved in the Steele/ Russian Dossier project.
There are other ongoing investigations outside of the Mueller probe, and there’s already been a criminal referral to the DOJ related to Steele’s activities.
Given that the Mueller team has far greater resources than a Congressional committee, any real action against those involved with the Steele/ Russian Dossier would probably have to come from the DOJ.
The DNC and the Hillary for President Committee were able to conceal their funding for the Russian Dossier until late October; that’s when the money trail ( DNC to Perkins Coie/ Mark Elias to Fusion GPS to Christopher Steele) proved that they funded it.
Once concealment of the role of the DNC/Hillary Campaign Fund was no longer possible, the “talking points” soon emerged as to why their funding for the dossier was noble and patriotic.
I can tell you the response that you’ll get as to why there’s no wrongdoing involved related to the Russian Dossier project; the collusion with the Russians in funding, compiling, and promoting ( to the media) of the dossier was necessary to determine if Trump was colluding with the Russians.
In short, that is the main talking point used as a justification for using Russian sources for political opposition research.
That talking point is usually followed by high praise for Christopher Steele as a ” highly regarded spy”.
I’ve been over this topic before with Late4Dinner/Links for Breakfast in one of “her” previous columns, so I can save you the suspence of waiting for a reply.
Squeeky,..
There is another talking point that I failed to mention; that by bringing up this topic, you’re “undermining the Mueller investigation”.
It’s never explained just how this “undermines” the Mueller investigation, but that doesn’t seem to matter.
“What I fail to understand is how recycling center can just take such material from people seeking payment without proof of lawful ownership.”
Well, it is Idaho. Out there, they don’t believe in them pesky regulations, as a suppression of free enterprise. Obviously the legitimate owners of the pipe needed to have a 24/7 armed guard posted, ready to shoot.
California loves regulations and recycling centers operate the same way. They don’t ask questions when someone brings them copper from wiring they stole the night before.

Russian spies are not protected under The US Constitution, Squeeky. As for Shareblue and Correct The Record, the counter-propaganda effort was obviously overwhelmed by The Russian troll farm at The Internet Research Agency. Equally obvious is that zerohedge is drawing a false equivalency between foreign-sponsored disinformation versus home-grown counter-propaganda. It’s about the same as the false equivalency between Natalia Veselnitskaya versus Christopher Steele. It that’s the best The Trumpettes can do, then Trump truly is in trouble.
An Internet troll is NOT a spy. An Internet troll is not sneaking around trying to find out state secrets.
And as far as your silly contention that there is a distinction between ” foreign-sponsored disinformation versus home-grown counter-propaganda”, I would like to point out the old legal truism, that it’s a distinction without a difference.
Not to mention that we constantly are bombarded by pro-Mexican propaganda thru the Democrats!

Plus, please don’t comment to me with NYTs opinion pieces. Because I seldom read them. They are worthless to me because it is always the same anti-Trump, negative-Trump spin bullsh*t. What sane person would ever go to the NYTs op-ed for a sensible and fair-minded analysis of anything related to Trump? You might as well go to Stephen Colbert, who far from speaking truth to power, sucks the dxxx of power with gusto!
Your silly “the hoax claim by Trump is refuted” piece is a good example. Not only does it conflate different issues, it then asks people to suspend their belief and fall for “No American collusion=no hoax.” The op ed writers twist and spin to try to fit reality into their anti-Trump world view. That is pretty much all they do. The fact that you read that crap, and find it worth posting here as valuable opinion means:
1. You are really stupid;
2. You think most of us here are really stupid and will fall for it;
3. You don”t care about the truth and just want to throw some bullsh*t against the wall to see if any of it sticks, or to create the appearance of valid arguments.
I can just see the process at the NYT:
Writer: Hey Boss, Rosenstein just said on TV there was no collusion. Trump was right! It’s a witch hunt. Whattalla do???
Editor: Give me 500 words to spin it where Trump is wrong.
Except, that process doesn’t really occur, because the op-ed writers already know what to do.

Excerpted from the article linked above:
Mr. Pinedo pleaded guilty this week to identity fraud, according to a statement of offense, and has been cooperating with the special counsel investigation. Other documents unsealed on Friday show that Mr. Pinedo’s plea supported the indictment of the Russian nationals.
The connection was apparently unwitting. Mr. Pinedo’s lawyer, Jeremy I. Lessem, said in an interview that Mr. Pinedo had no knowledge of his clients’ identities or motivations and “accepted full responsibility” for his actions. Mr. Pinedo had no connection to Mr. Trump, his company or his campaign, the lawyer said.
Welcome to the New York Times/ Late for Dinner website.
JT’s brief comments above appear to be off topic.
He who will not be deterred, Robert Swan Mueller The Third, has done great and good service to We the People of The United States of America. L4D can’t help it if poor, prof. Turley is still sleeping late on Saturday morning after a long hard night on Fox News. Just look at the photo of Turley that Squeeky posted. Now that’s something the cat dragged in, for sure.
I caught JT’s interview on the BBC News yesterday.
As far as I know, there’s no rule against hijacking JT’s columns, so feel free to continue.
Liberty2nd wants to know what a recycling center is. I thought I’d give a demonstration with visual aids.
Of course, Late4Dinner accomplished something truly global in scope: so much so that Professor Turley’s interview on BBC is meaningless by comparison.
Go ahead and ridicule our host with statements such as he being someTHING that the cat dragged in if that offers you some form of personal validation. He works long hours and still somehow manages to attend to his family and friends along with his students and everyone else. It is something I certainly can no longer do and I am certain you cannot either. Your dismissive insolence toward the person who provides this forum for you to bray your condemnations shows that you are also a person that cannot perform to such high standards yourself, because if you could you wouldn’t act as base as you do.
You forgot to mention Turley walking Luna and cleaning up after both her and Trump, too.
P. S. I have no objection to Turley’s retirement. He has earned it and Luna deserves it.
And in your retort the best you could muster is a dog defecating. Your wit truly knows no equal.
Evidently, Mr. Smith has never before read Turley’s blawg, Res Ipsa Loquitur.
You may be the only human being that’s dumber than the guy that got busted with 40 foot sections of irrigation sticking out of his car window in Idaho.
FTR, that is how the spy game works. The polezni durak [useful idiot (aka Pinedo)] is left in the dark about the true identities and motives of his contacts and their handlers.
Excellent. IMHO, this Russian thing is such a ruse. Keep your eye on the Russians, Terrorists, evil foreign spies. But please don’t pay any attention to the $trillions wasted on a bloated military, or the thousands of citizens killed each year by kids with guns. No, the real threat are the Russians. Such BS.
What is a recycling center?
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/02/16/us/politics/russians-indicted-mueller-election-interference.html
Excerpted from the article linked above:
Mr. Mueller has gathered extensive evidence of contacts between Russia and the Trump campaign: Mr. Trump’s eldest son met with a Russian lawyer in hopes of receiving political dirt on Mrs. Clinton; one adviser has admitted being tipped off in advance to Russian hacking of Democratic emails; another was in contact with a Twitter account used by Russian hackers; a federal judge found probable cause that a third adviser was an unlawful Russian agent. And the Trump campaign repeatedly and falsely denied any contacts with Russia.
Whether any of that violated federal law is the weightiest question facing Mr. Mueller, and Friday’s indictment did not answer it. But it painted a picture of a Russian operation that was multipronged, well financed and relentless.
Desperado, why don’t you come to your senses?
You been out ridin’ fences for so long now
Oh, you’re a hard one
I know that you got your reasons
These things that are pleasin’ you
Can hurt you somehow
Don’t you draw the queen of diamonds, boy
She’ll beat you if she’s able
You know the queen of hearts is always your best bet
Now it seems to me, some fine things
Have been laid upon your table
But you only want the ones that you can’t get
Desperado, oh, you ain’t gettin’ no younger
Your pain and your hunger, they’re drivin’ you home
And freedom, oh freedom well, that’s just some people talkin’
Your prison is walking through this world all alone
Don’t your feet get cold in the winter time?
The sky won’t snow and the sun won’t shine
It’s hard to tell the night time from the day
You’re losin’ all your highs and lows
Ain’t it funny how the feeling goes away?
Desperado, why don’t you come to your senses?
Come down from your fences, open the gate
It may be rainin’, but there’s a rainbow above you
You better let your country love you (let your country love you)
You better let your country love you before it’s too late

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/02/16/us/politics/a-hoax-indictments-make-trumps-claim-even-harder-to-maintain.html
Excerpted from the article linked above:
By laying out a meticulous case for how Russia tried to tip the electoral scales toward Mr. Trump in 2016, Mr. Mueller has made it much harder for the president to dismiss the investigation as mere politics. He may also have made it harder for Mr. Trump to fire Mr. Mueller himself, since, as some Democratic lawmakers argued, that would look like an attempt to help Russia further undermine American democracy.
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/02/16/world/europe/prigozhin-russia-indictment-mueller.html
Excerpted from the article linked above:
“On Friday, Mr. Prigozhin was one of 13 Russians indicted by a federal grand jury for interfering in the American election.
According to the indictment, Mr. Prigozhin, 56, controlled the entity that financed the troll factory, known as the Internet Research Agency, which waged “information warfare against the United States” by creating fictitious social-media personas, spreading falsehoods and promoting messages supportive of Donald J. Trump and critical of Hillary Clinton. He has denied involvement.”
There’s an old saying: Nothing is true until The Russians deny it.
From the NYT article “Indictment Makes Trump’s Hoax Claim Harder To Sell”:
“Last November, during a trip to Asia, Mr. Trump said that Mr. Putin had told him that Russia did not meddle, and that he was inclined to believe him.
‘Every time he sees me he says, ‘I didn’t do that,’ and I really believe that when he tells me that, he means it,’ Mr. Trump said. ‘I think he is very insulted by it,’ he added, ‘which is not a good thing for our country.'”
Remember: Nothing is true until The Russians deny it and Trump believes Putin’s denial. Ergo, Trump believes the exact opposite of the truth.
Oh! I forgot the best part. Trump also claims that the same truth that Putin denies also proves Trump innocent. And not to put too fine a point on it, but Trump believes the exact opposite of the truth that Trump also says sets Trump free. No wonder it was so easy for Putin to con Trump.
Here it is in Trump’s own words:
“Russia started their anti-US campaign in 2014, long before I announced that I would run for President,” he wrote on Twitter. “The results of the election were not impacted. The Trump campaign did nothing wrong – no collusion!”
Here’s Trump’s take on Putin’s denial again for comparison purposes:
“Every time he sees me he says, ‘I didn’t do that,’ and I really believe that when he tells me that, he means it,” Mr. Trump said. “I think he is very insulted by it,” he added, “which is not a good thing for our country.”
This type of theft is a major problem in many rural areas. The legislatures in many cases clamped down on the ease of criminals selling stolen material to recyclers, a few of which in the past were in on the action. Most now require proof of identity but the thieves know how to circumvent the rules. The best way to catch them however remains at the time, or immediately thereafter of the theft. Circle irrigation systems are a favorite target but even guard rails are occasionally stolen. Then there was a case we had of a guy who went from would-be thief attempting to steal electrical wire from a live substation to a crispy critter in the resulting arc-flash.
Not the brightest bulbs in the bunch these guys, well except for the last one I guess.
A car coming the other way towards us the other week with pipes hanging out both windows like in the photo but not as bad.
I stopped the car immediately in the hope that those pipes would not hit us. I know how the driver of the other car was not decapitated as soon as they got on the main road.
This guy is dumber than a dog, and you YouTube/reddit addicts know what I am referring to.
Why is this story here? What does this have to do with Stormy Daniels??? If this story involved Anderson attempting to stick the pipes up his rectum, then I could see Jon Turley’s profound fascination with the story. But there’s no indication that happened. Jon Turley, stick with the only IMPORTANT subject that matters: Stormy Daniels!!!
‘tPlease stick to the only subject matter that really counts: Stormy Daniels!
To think that I have him as a neighbor. Fortunately not that near a neighbor.
In Florida the center I go to requires drivers license and a thumb print before they will take any metal item for recycling.
They were aluminum pipes. He’s probably a meth head. In his mind, it’s OK to steal stuff and better for the farmer and his family to lose their livelihoods, than for him to have to straighten up his act and get a full time job.

Recycling centers generally keep records of items such as irrigation pipe, copper wire, and an assortment of other items that are brought in by certain profiled groups.. Where reports of theft are made, the police often go looking at the center. At least here they do. What group do you think Anderson belongs? Yeah, I was thinking the same thing; that’s one of the groups they profile.
Everyday we seem to meet a new idiot. What will tomorrow bring?
Recycling centers take what you have to offer. You need to go one day, JT.
