Florida police apparently did not buy Kennecia Posey’s explanation that the cocaine found in her purse may have been due to the unusually windy day in Fort Pierce. As Bob Dylan sang, “The answer, my friend, is blowin’ in the wind,
The answer is blowin’ in the wind.”
Posey reportedly was stopped in a car with another person in late March and the officer reported smelling marijuana. After a search of the car, police found cocaine and marijuana inside a purse Posey had on her lap. She is quoted as saying “I don’t know anything about any cocaine . . . It’s a windy day. It must have flown through the window and into my purse.”
Posey was charged with a felony count of cocaine possession and a misdemeanor count of marijuana possession.
Such defenses are not always unsuccessful. Years ago, Chicago police chased a man down the street and reported that the man tossed pot into the air just before he was tackled. They collected some of the pot from the street as evidence but the man’s lawyer argued that there is a certain amount of pot residue on many streets. Surprisingly, tests indicated that this was true and the charge was tossed.
While Robert Goulet “Called The Wind Maria,” Posey calls the wind More High Ya.
It blew in.. it just didn’t blow up!
There was Rosie the Riveter and now we have Posey the poser!
This gives a whole new meaning to the word “blow”.
She may not have known much about cocaine but she sure knew a lot about “blowing”.
“I think she meant to say that the blow in her purse was put there through the window.”
“Talk about blowing a line!”
“That’s one of the biggest lines I’ve ever seen anyone blow!”
“And Bill Clinton didn’t inhale either!”
“Policeman: But Ms. Posey, the cocaine is in a baggie in your purse!”
Posey is apparently a suspected poser too!
The neighbors hid it on your roof until they needed it.
Michael Aarethun – that is one of the theories my wife had. 🙂
The defense attorney will state ‘ can you prove that was NOT how it happened.’
Thank goodness I paid the dues on my Poetic License, so that I can freewheel a little with this!
Just When She Thot It Was Safe???
Or, Any Which Way The Blow Blows???
An Irish Poem by Squeeky Fromm
There once was a homegirl named Posey,
Who had some white stuff on her nosey!
When the cops stopped her whip
She gave them some lip,
And pretended that she didn’t knowsy!

Notes: Blow is a street name for cocaine. A Thot, is “That Ho over there”. Whip is a hood name for a car.
Bravo!!!
Your license is extended!
This is why they call it ‘blow’.
Wow. That must have been a lot of ambient cocaine. Whiteout conditions. There must have been wrecks everywhere from everyone freaking out with all the cocaine blowing in their cars.
Karen S – we had a dust storm and lost our porch umbrella. Did not find it for 10 months when we found it on the roof. My wife had blamed the neighbors for stealing it. 🙂
LOL! Now that’s funny.
What I want to know is how in the heck did it stay on your roof for 10 months?
nalejbank – darned if I know. It had collapsed so that it was flat on the roof. 😉
With a good lawyer and the weather report, she has a shot. 😉
She should get off for creativity
A judge should tell her the wind is going to blow you into jail.
