Turley To Appear On CBS Face The Nation [Updated]

download-2I will appear on Sunday as a guest on CBS Face The Nation with moderator Margaret Brennan .  While I have done the show previously, this appearance holds special meaning because it will be the final Sunday for the show at its old location at 2020 M St. N.W.  CBS has been moving into its new building next door and then this long-standing CBS bureau will be torn down.  Despite being my birthday, I wanted to see the old girl one last time on M St. Update: It turns out that a second former student, Kelly Anne Conway, was also on Face the Nation, making this a thoroughly GW saturated line up.  Here is the clip: Face the Nation.  Conway was in my class in the first year of my teaching at GW and was always a standout in her class — as was Michael Avenatti in his class.

Also appearing on Face The Nation will be my former research assistant Michael Avenatti, counsel to Stormy Daniels. It is a point of tremendous pride to appear on a Sunday show with a former student who has done so well in his career.  Recently, Avenatti and Conway, appeared at the White House Correspondents Dinner.

I was previously under contract with CBS News during the Dan Rather period.  I had tremendous respect for Rather.

The old building was never a looker or particularly comfortable.  However, it had a lot of history for one of the greatest news organizations in history.  The deal with Tishman Speyer was ten years in the making and will give CBS a stellar new facility.  I am particularly glad to be on the final show in the old building.  We both have aged, not necessarily gracefully but well.

    1. No one denies that Mr. Turley does a “nice job.” The question is a “nice job” at what? The answer is that Mr. Turley only does a “nice job” of focusing on the Stormy “Anal Queen” Daniels story. But Mr. Turley totally fails to even touch upon the Judge T.S. Ellis story, in which Judge Ellis called Mueller to the carpet, eposing the entire Mueller & Company fraud. Mr. Turley does not care about the truth, about facts, or the evidence, and is a partisan hack and a complete phony pretending to be a Constititional “scholar.” While Deep State pressure will be brought on Judge Ellis to fold, until and unless that happens, Mueller and the anti-Trumpers will be finished for good. The other question is will Mr. Turley and other anti-Trumpers continue to focus on the “Anal Queen?” I don’t doubt it. That’s about all they have.

  2. Professor Turley just tried to help out former student on Face The Nation by claiming that potential obstruction of justice in Stormy Daniel’s case could be problematic for president. Really? Let’s see. This is still about civil matters – NDA and potential campaign finance violation. No criminal allegations (hook-up consensual per Daniels) and potential peanuts fine for any FEC violations. This all dates back to a 2006 consensual hook-up compared to White House quickie with intern (abuse of presidential power, etc). So this whole Stormy Daniels case aint going nowhere despite Proessor Turley trying to help out seedy former student.

  4. I hope that among the topics that Mr. Turley discusses on “Face the Nation” is one of his personal favorites. Indeed, it was an obsession for a time. I speak, of course, of Stephanie Clifford (aka Stormy Daniels), the sex performer best known for her work in pornography.

    Many seem to assume that Donald Trump did actually have sex with Stormy Daniels, merely because Michael Cohen arranged an agreement to keep her quiet about her allegation. The mere signing of an agreement, however, does not mean that what Stormy Daniels said was true. Everyone knows the big lie principle. The more a lie is repeated, the more it will be believed. So, understandably, Michael Cohen sought to silence a relatively small lie to help prevent it from becoming a big lie.

    Thanks to a shameless publicity-seeking attorney named Michael Avenatti, however, Avenatti and Stormy Daniels have proceeded to make a relatively small lie into a big lie anyway, thanks to the presstitutes in the mainstream media, who love to repeat lies.

    Remember, this was the same presstitute media that once called victim Paula Jones a whore, but now calls whore Stormy Daniels a victim!

    For anyone who doubts that Stormy Daniels is a liar, I have absolute proof that nobody can refute. Nobody! Talented comedian Roseanne Barr recently attacked Stormy Daniels’ credibility because Roseanne said that Daniels performed anal sex in videos for money. Stormy Daniels undoubtedly agreed to do anal sex scenes because they pay a premium over other sex acts, and, after all, Stormy Daniels is nothing but a legal and “glorified” prostitute.

    So, does Stormy Daniels perform anal sex in movies or does she not? That is easy enough to verify. Simply Google “Stormy Daniels” and “anal” and “sex” and “video.” If you do this, you will find links to several websites that provide free clips of Stormy Daniels performing anal sex. Thus, the evidence is in plain site.

    QUESTION: Is Stormy Daniels a liar?

    VERDICT: Yes!

    Mr. Turley, of course, won’t cover this story, even though he’s been obsessed with Stormy Daniels for months. Mr. Turley doesn’t want to make his friend Michael Avenutti look like the lying publicity-seeking attorney he is. Liars have to circle the wagon when they have been exposed.

      3. Alex Jones doesn’t have some basic facts down. The judge he is speaking of but doesn’t actually name, is not a federal circuit court judge. The judge criticizing Muller is Thomas Selby Ellis III, and he is a Senior United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He’s ruled on many high-profile cases and is a well-respected jurist, even by those who have not always agreed with him. Judge Ellis never said that there was a “coup” to take down Trump. That’s just Alex Jones bombast. But Judge Ellis did say that Mueller should not have “unfettered power” in probing alleged ties between President Trump’s campaign and Russia, and he did accuse Mueller of using criminal cases to pressure Trump’s allies to turn against him. In short, Judge Ellis is just saying what I and many others have been saying for some time about Mueller’s scam. And make no mistake. It is a scam

    Why? Neither Rather nor Mary Mapes have ever stopped lying about the Killian memos fiasco in the intervening years. Robert Redford was dopey enough to make himself one of their marks. The whole business casts a retrospective shadow over their entire careers. It’s not very plausible that Mapes at age 48 and Rather at age 73 just decided to celebrate advanced age by scamming around in ways they’d never done before. They were finished products and that was bad character on display. The smart money says an audit of their previous exposes would reveal more corruption.

  13. Professor Turley I hope you have the guts to stand up to your former student and point out that the whole Stormy Daniels saga is a civil matter. (NDA and campaign finance laws). No criminal wrong doing alleged. Daniels said hook-up was consensual (no sexual assault) and by all accounts potential campaign finance violation would be settled by paying a fine. So why do you perpetuate the over-coverage of this civil matter on the part of media and your self-promoting and politically motivated former student?

  17. I cannot recommend Disgrace The Nation nor have I owned or used a TV now it’s 20 plus years. It would be nice if the professor could elevate their skills in illiteracy and at least make a stab of making a useless forum serve some kind of purpose.
