“[Jesus] Wouldn’t Be Riding A Donkey”: Televangelist Calls On Followers To Buy Him A Fourth Private Jet For $54 Million

Screen Shot 2018-05-29 at 8.41.04 PM.pngWe have previously discussed the divine logic used by televangelists to justify their use of private luxury jets. Louisiana televangelist Jesse Duplantis, 68, not only believes that God wants him to have a jet but a fourth jet . . . and for the faithful to pay for it.

Duplantis only lives 25 miles from New Orleans and a major airport, but he put out the call to the faithful that they needed to pony up for another jet aircraft.  His appeal was picked up by the Times Picayune on Monday.

Duplantis believes that Jesus wants him to have a new Dassault Falcon 7X, a three-engine jet with a range of 5,950 nautical miles. Why?

“I really believe that if the Lord Jesus Christ was physically on the Earth today, he wouldn’t be riding a donkey. He’d be in an airplane flying all over the world.”

Duplantis complained that his other jets require frequent fueling stops and that the new luxury jet would be a real money-saver in avoiding having to pay  “those exorbitant prices with jet fuel all over the world.”
He added in his video “I want you to believe in me for a Falcon 7X. Pray about becoming a partner to it.”
What is bizarre that is that he could well get people to buy him another plane.  Duplantis is a preacher of the so-called “prosperity gospel”, which tells followers that they can become wealthy through faith. It appears to give him license to be a conspicuous consumer.

  1. “[Jesus] Wouldn’t Be Riding A Donkey”: Televangelist Calls On Followers To Buy Him A Fourth Private Jet For $54 Million

In a sane world any persons found tithing money to this two bit money stealer would be sent off for mental evaluation.

Why stop at a private jet?

Jesus wants his own private island too. And for a just a few US dollars more it can be his:

Al Marjan, a man-made island is located in Ras Al Khaimah. Extending a vast 4.5 kilometers into the sea, the island covers an area of 2.7 million square meters (660 acres).

The island is located in close proximity to the Holy Land (a short flight on his private jet) and for the incredibly low price of – $462 million US dollars it can be Jesus’s very own heaven on Earth.

Louisiana televangelist Jesse Duplantis is a two bit money stealing disgrace.

How many doctors would $55 million US dollars graduate from medical school?

How many homes built for the homeless?

    How many hospitals/clinics constructed?

How many debit jubilees could be celebrated by providing impoverished families a helping hand in escaping debit-servitude?

The possiblities for helping humanities least fortunate are boundless but the two bit money stealer has other ideas.

  2. Hallelujah. God sent a prophetic message to me. Heal the lame, deaf, dumb & blind. You can’t keep all your acquired riches & take it to heaven when you die. So give it to me. I’ll hide it. And don’t be a cheap skate with those 10% tithes. Next stop is Las Vegas.

For a few extra dollars, Pastor Jesse can get this gas guzzler jet for $224 million. The Galaxy C-5. God willing.

  3. “The Lord gave me enough money to drive a brand new Lincoln Continental. I don’t need this old Cadillac, judge” – after which he dropped the keys and walked out of the courtroom.

Percy Foreman, attorney – at a hearing to decide if he would be allowed the continued use of a Cadillac loaned to him as collateral for his fee to represent the widow of her husband, Arthur Francis Thompson,CPA, who succumbed to a sudden case of lead poisoning after Mrs. Thompson shot him in the back while he was reading a newspaper. Mrs. Thompson was found ‘not guilty’ the jury in her trial.

    1. Good one, slohrss!

And I think mespo has a point as well. Being that well connected to the Lord should offer benefits such as a transporter from Star Trek.

He thinks too small to be any good as a prosperity gospel preacher!

      1. Jill – I was thinking about the submarine but then you have to be somewhere you can dock it. The sub is no good getting you from Dallas to Minneapolis, but the jet will work just fine. 😉

  4. Quite common in cults, fleece the flock take them for all they can get. A good con-man knows his marks. This guy is good, but not the best.

  5. is there a difference between how this and other televangelists speak to their flock and how trump speaks to his flock…persuasive communication skills to create the story so the facts do not matter

    1. Several decades ago it was declared that God was dead. Who the hell forgot to bury him?

  6. Everyone asks for donations nowadays – from public radio to websites to political campaigns to kids at your door. The “gift” that TV evangelists have a for extracting money from people, isn’t a skill, but a willingness to exploit the most desperate naïve people. Others are asking more intelligent people for money. Poor and destitute folks are more likely to donate money than the average person. TV evangelists go, not where the most money is, but where people are the most likely to part with their money.

  7. Coming up June 8th – the 51st anniversary of the attack on the USS Liberty. Israel is not and will never be “our friend” LBJ disgusting tool of Zionists willing to sacrifice our sailors.

    1. You see, she was gonna be an actress
And I was gonna learn to fly
She took off to find the footlights
I took off for the sky

      And here, she’s acting happy
      Inside her handsome home
And me, I’m flying in my taxi
      Taking tips, and getting stoned
I go flying so high, when I’m stoned

  8. We have previously discussed the divine logic used by televangelists to justify their use of private luxury jets.

Again, ‘prosperity Gospel’ is a feature of some charismatic and Pentacostal types, not evangelicals in general. I don’t think it’s universal even among charismatics.

  9. This televangelist probably has an MBA from Harvard. Oh, and his minor was communication and public speaking!

    1. He doesn’t appear to have had any tertiary schooling, something quite odd among clergymen.

  10. If not for the support of Zionist-faux-Christians, US voters would disallow all the illegal foreign military excursions.

Soetoro Obama said he’d end the foreign military excursions. Instead he continued the pre-existing wars, invented a new one in Syria, and trained and financed so-called “Islamic moderates” who promptly beheaded and anal raped Libyan President Ghaddafi, leaving Libya in utter chaos. Trump campaigned on stopping the military excursions, and did the opposite.

Every syllable Christ spoke on the subject of sacrifice, killing, harming others, war, peace, etc,, was diametrically opposed to every facet of war. If you want to thank an American for illegal military excursions destroying the US, thank an evangelical so-called “Christian,” i.e. Zionist Christian.

Any member of the SBC (Southern Baptist Convention) who affirmatively denies that modern Israel is the fulfillment of OT prophecy is promptly, effectively, and permanently excommunicated.

“Evangelical” translation for “I shall bless those who bless the, and curse those who curse thee:” “Christians are required (no option) to finance modern Israel, and kill and/or maim every single enemy of modern Israel, after which God shall reward me and the USA with more money, safety, and security.”

If you don’t believe what I just typed, print it, give it to the “Pastor” of your local SBC Church, and kindly request him to deny it in writing and sign it. Kindly ask him to sign and date the following statement: “It’s OK to be an SBC member and deny that modern Israel is the fulfillment of OT prophecy.”

Zionist Christians actually elevate Judaics above Christians. If it was up to an SBC Pastor to save the life of a Judaic or a Christian but not both, the SBC Pastor would chose the Judiac (_od’s Chosen People).

    1. Spot on JJ! It’s the Evangelicals who are the biggest Zionists in this country – too bad they don’t understand they are being used – as goys they are disposable.

  11. Well, he maybe has a point, but think Jesus would be on youtube, myself.

I question how he is using the three jets he already has. Are they flying food to the poor, or flying folks on vacations?
