Do You Want To Burn A Snowman? South Carolina Man Arrested For Setting Christmas Decorations On Fire

Cameron Baun of Summerville, SC is charged with arson after allegedly burning Christmas decoration

I guess some people in Summerville, South Carolina just do not like winter or at least Christmas.  Cameron Lewis Baun, 29, has been arrested for going on an alleged spree of arson in burning Christmas decorations.  He reportedly started by burning an outdoor Snowman.  He may have misunderstood the lyrics from Frozen. It is “Do you want to build a snowman?”

The arrest follows another arrest in Texas of a man yelling at children that there is no Santa. In this case, Baun is accused of torching multiple decorations at different homes in Summerville. He notably is accused of breaking a window in one structure so I am not sure why he is not also charged with breaking and entering.  One house reportedly caught fire.

He is currently charged with arson.

  1. It takes a special kind of hatred for a man to almost burn a house down in order to destroy their Christmas decorations.

  2. Those who torch others, need to be torched themselves.
It is not difficult. Tie him to a phone pole. Throw some gasoline on him. Set him on fire.
When he is dead, burn him until only ashes are there. Throw the ashes on a bus for India or where ever he came from.

    1. Another unusual snowman story, from about 2010.
I don’t even want to think about how he might decorate the Christmas tree inside, and the type of baubles hanging from it.

  3. It was his youth that is to blame…his mother and her treacherous reworks of otherwise healthy Christmas melodies:

“I saw mommy torching Santa Claus….”
