Report: Blocked Caller Connected To Trump Jr. Was Not President Trump

YouTube Screengrab

For over a year, many of the theories of Russian collusion have highlighted a mysterious call to an unpublished number by Donald Trump Jr. in the critical period of the infamous meeting with Russians in Trump Tower. Democratic members apparently received the disappointing news this week that the number has been tracked down and did not belong to President Donald Trump but business associates of his son.

While Senator Richard Blumenthal immediately went on CNN to suggest that he still believes Donald Jr. committed perjury before Congress and could still be indicted. Yet, this was the major allegation of possible perjury cited by countless commentators. There is now exculpatory evidence in favor of both father and son. That certainly does not remove any threat of perjury but the repeated allegations or implications of perjury have lacked any details on what Donald Trump Jr. stated falsely under oath.

Trump Jr.’s phone records included calls with two blocked phone numbers the same day that he spoke with Russian pop star Emin Agalarov, the son of a Russian oligarch, connected to June 2016 Trump Tower meeting with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya. This was three days before the Trump Tower meeting.

Chairman Adam Schiff previously wrote that the Democrats were mysteriously blocked in efforts to confirm the caller or callers and “(b)ased on the timing of these calls, the committee must determine whether some of these calls may be between Trump Jr. and Donald J. Trump, including calls concerning the Trump Tower meeting.” Likewise, California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, has emphasized the importance of the blocked numbers in a Democratic report last year on that panel’s probe of the Trump Tower meeting.

  1. Allan comments:

“Anonymous Diane writes “Late4Dinner is certainly not Out2Lunch — in the sense of “not really with it.””

“This sounds as if Diane can’t defend herself so her alter ego or her other alias does it for her. It is quite pitiful.”

    No. I don’t know “Diane” or Late4Dinner.

You’re the pitiful one, Allan. As is Tom. And neither one of you is worth any real expenditure of time and energy. I’ll let you get back to your life on this blog. I think I’ll head for the slopes — a place where downhill runs are actually fun and productive.

Worker wage gains just broke 3% for the first time in more than 10 years

    Jeff Cox7:06 PM ET Fri, 25 Jan 2019 | 00:39

Wages and salaries for American workers rose more than 3 percent over the past year, the first time that threshold has been broken in more than 10 years, according to a Labor Department report Thursday.

The employment cost index, which the Bureau of Labor Statistics releases quarterly, showed a 3.1 percent gain in the wages and salaries component in the fourth quarter of 2018. That’s up from 2.9 percent in the third quarter and tied for the biggest gain since the third quarter of 2008, just as worst of the financial crisis hit.

Overall, the employment cost index, which also includes benefits costs, rose 2.9 percent for the quarter, which also tied the highest level since the third quarter of 2008.

A release earlier this month from the BLS showed that real average hourly earnings, which take into account inflation, rose 1.1 percent for the year in 2018. Average weekly earnings climbed 1.2 percent.

Federal Reserve policymakers watch the employment cost index carefully for inflation pressures. A statement released Wednesday after this week’s Federal Open Market Committee meeting indicated that “market-based measures of inflation compensation have moved lower in recent months” though “survey-based measures of longer-term inflation expectations are little changed.”

The monetary policymaking committee voted not to increase the Fed’s benchmark interest rate and said it would take a “patient” approach to future increases.

    1. And here some said I was being aggressive to David Brock’s paid trolls.

Yet, Brock has told them to say nothing about Northam.

No worries, the Dems in VA want him out proving two things:
Brocks’s trolls are not about truth (nod to Saul Alinsky) so never let up on them
Northam shows that Dems, like Trump, can fall from grace under their own venom….

Memo to David Brock….the American Spectator is highering

      ###

“As Mr. Northam was speaking, the Democratic National Committee issued a press release calling for him to resign. The state Democratic Party pulled its support for the governor Saturday after saying it was prepared to let him step down, but got word he wouldn’t. The state Republican Party also reiterated its call for him to leave.

Democratic state Sen. Mamie Locke, who chairs the Democratic caucus in the Virginia Senate, said Mr. Northam should resign whether or not he is in the photo.

Ms. Locke said she was baffled the governor would initially admit being in the photo, then say that wasn’t the case. She said she found the image devastating. “As an African-American woman who has been subjected to racism and discrimination in this society, it’s another kind of punch to see that,” she said.

Some Democrats said Mr. Northam needed to step aside in favor of Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax, who is only the second African-American to hold statewide office.

“Several Democratic presidential aspirants—Sens. Cory Booker, Kirsten Gillibrand, Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren—were among those who called the picture an unrecoverable offense. Republican political organizations, the NAACP, Democrats in the Virginia Congressional delegation and progressive activists were also among the swell of voices calling for Mr. Northam’s exit

      1. Oh geez, us liberals better sprint like thieves from Governor Northam!! If only I had worn my running shoes. These dressy loafers with the tassels are too damn slippery..!

  3. TURLEY TRUMP SUPPORTERS FRUSTRATED

THEY WANT PROFESSOR TO DISCUSS LATE-TERM ABORTION

Trump supporters think this late-term abortion controversy is a silver bullet that will pierce every liberal. Or make liberals run like thieves! Therefore Trump-supporting regulars to this blog are beside themselves with frustration. “Why won’t Professor Turley open this issue for formal discussion?”

The answer is very simple: ‘Professor Turley knows that Trump supporters have a strong tendency to go over-the-top with their rhetoric’. What’s more, Turely, an academic by profession, more than likely knows academics who have described to him the complexities involved in this debate. But ‘if’ Turley attempted to convey these complexities, his Trump-supporting commenters would label him a ‘baby killer’.

The truth is that no sane woman is going to carry a pregnancy well into the third trimester unless she really ‘wants’ the baby. And no sane, responsible doctor is going to perform a late term abortion on a perfectly viable fetus. In fact, there are less than 20 doctors nationwide willing to perform late-term abortions.

Late-term abortions almost always involve extreme complications. The baby-to-be either suffers grave abnormalities, or delivery could threaten the mother’s life (or cause permanent harm to her health). 100 years ago women often died giving birth. In the 19th Century, for instance, it was not unusual for young fathers to lose their wives during delivery. Biographies of historic men often mention that their ‘first wives’ died during childbirth.

When Bill Clinton was president he held a Rose Garden ceremony to ‘veto’ a late-term abortion ban that Republicans were pushing. Clinton’s guests at that ceremony included a couple who went through emotional hell because they were denied a late-term abortion. The woman learned, in the third semester, that her baby suffered from extreme abnormalities. Yet her doctor erroneously informed her she could ‘not’ obtain a late-term abortion.

Consequently Bill Clinton’s guest was forced to delivery a baby whose brain had grown in a sack outside the skull. Said baby had no potential to speak of. It remained in the hospital, under intensive care, for weeks until finally dying. The total hospital expenses exceeded a quarter million dollars (and that was 20-something years ago).

The experience of Clinton’s guests illustrates ‘why’ late-term abortions are necessary. No middle class family has the means to care for babies with extreme abnormalities. Even upper middle class families would be challenged. A child with extreme abnormalities requires constant attention. No single mother or poor working couple can shoulder that kind of burden. The financial and emotional stresses could ruin most families.

One should pause here to note that spouses of people suffering from Alzheimer’s often suffer premature deaths. The stresses of caring for a spouse with Alzheimer’s is very taxing on the health. Likewise, the stresses of caring for a child with extreme abnormalities is similarly taxing.

Readers of a certain age might remember pop vocalist Phoebe Snow. Snow’s 1975 hit “Poetry Man” remains an all-time favorite. Less known, however, is the fact that Snow had a daughter born with severe brain damage. Snow essentially sacrificed her career to care for said daughter who finally died at age 31. Snow herself then died 4 years later at the age of 60. Snow’s death, from cerebral hemorrhage, was more than likely related to the accumulated stress of caring for her daughter.

Trump supporters have expressed morbid glee that late-term abortion has returned as an issue. After losing the shutdown fight, Trump supporters are desperate for distraction. For that reason they have seized on late-term abortion for all the wrong reasons.

    1. “Trump supporters think this late-term abortion controversy is a silver bullet that will pierce every liberal. Or make liberals run like thieves! Therefore Trump-supporting regulars to this blog are beside themselves with frustration. “Why won’t Professor Turley open this issue for formal discussion?”

This is how Peter addresses the problem of killing full term babies. He sounds like a very sick man who is a coward and would run away from standing tall but wouldn’t hesitate to kill a baby that can live on its own. What a terrible excuse for a human being for anyone that can think that way.

Take note that in Peter’s dialogue there doestn’t seem to be the slightest concern for human beings unless they can play a part in his ideological movement.

Who in the recent past had no concern for human life and was willing to copy the culture of death from the Progressive faction of our country? None others than the Nazi’s. They used our laws, pushed by Democrats, to make people into second class citizens that could be placed in concentration camps. They used the Progressive ideas on eugenics to see to it that an Aryan nation could rule all of Europe. Who else categorized races into classes of the hated where Jews would be hated the most, then perhaps Blacks and Slavs. How many people did HItler kill?

      1. Alan, you’ve admitted on this blog that ‘you’ support abortion rights. But ‘now’ you’re pro-life..??

Explain how families can support children with extreme abnormalities who require 24 hour care. Like how does anyone with an income under a million per year pay for nursing facilities that cost thousands per month?

You seem to imply that average middle class couples should have no problem footing those bills. Explain how they can do that.

        1. “Alan, you’ve admitted on this blog that ‘you’ support abortion rights. But ‘now’ you’re pro-life..??”

Peter, you are a bit confused. You don’t read well in part because you reach conclusions based on your desires rather than what the written word actually says. You also look for simple answers that you can file in neat boxes rather than have to understand.

We are not talking about aborting “children with extreme abnormalities who require 24 hour care” though that is a discussion worth having. In the most exteme case we are talking about ending the life of an infant that survives the abortion process and is normal lying on the table independent from the mother or killing the infant when the mother is dilated.

Killing the infant is infanticide. The Nazi’s supported that so that belief has been supported in recent history. I can buy you a Luftwaffe uniform for you to prance around a mirror wearing

          1. No, Alan, that’s not what the discussion is about. No reputable doctor is going to abort a healthy baby right before delivery. That’s just a right-wing talking point.

            1. Peter, that is precisely what the discussion was about and even the governor couldn’t respond with a no to killing a surviving infant. The law is what dictates what can happen. That is how things work. You Progressive racists and baby killers have a history of passing all types of discriminatory laws and all sorts of actions that have resulted in the deaths of people. Remember among the Deocrats, one drop of black blood…? Many Nazi’s in passing the Nuremberg Laws in Nazi Germany thought that too cruel.

There is no stopping the leaders of infanticide and their followers. It is historically in their Progressive blood.

  4. Hmmmmm…The Goebbelists in the propaganda ministry are in full frontal masse hysteria freak out mode, openly stomping northams head into the ground before throwing him under the bus.
Something big is up and they are using Ralphie the Defiant Martyr for cover.

Ralph Northam must resign. And that’s just a start.
    by Karen Tumulty

There are many things that Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D) should say right now.

The first is that he is resigning.

Once he has done that, he also owes the Commonwealth of Virginia — and the rest of the country — a much fuller explanation.

A racist photo like the one he apparently chose to represent himself in his 1984 medical school yearbook does not just happen spontaneously. It is the product of something much larger — the culture that produced Northam, the kind of person he was. And there may indeed be a story of redemption in there somewhere. If there is, it is one that should have been told to the voters of his state long ago, so they could judge whether the man who put himself forward to lead them was who he said he was.

Instead, we have the almost unbelievable situation in which the following sentence greets us on the front page of The Post in 2019: “Northam, 59, did not say whether he was the man dressed in blackface or the one in a Klan robe and hood.”

All of this is made more inexplicable by the forces that helped put Northam in the governor’s office. Race was front and center during the brutal 2017 gubernatorial campaign in Virginia. Northam’s Republican opponent Ed Gillespie spent millions of dollars on incendiary ads that preyed on racial fears and attempted to tie Northam to MS-13 gang violence. While the gubernatorial campaign was underway, white supremacists marched through Charlottesville, with deadly results. Northam’s resounding victory in that environment seemed to have almost a cleansing quality to it.

Northam is no doubt sincere when he says that the photo “is not in keeping with who I am today.” And he does have a long record to point to. But he has known for decades that this photo existed, and his failure to come to terms with it publicly and openly speaks to a character flaw that is also part of who he is today. “It will take time to heal the damage this conduct has caused. I am ready to do that important work,” he said in his statement Friday.

It is indeed a time for healing, and Northam has an important role to play in helping it happen. But not as the governor of Virginia.

    1. Now it all makes sense as to why a physician like Northam would agree to literally murder an infant baby upon delivery if the mother were “uncomfortable”.
Northam, a physician graduate of the 1980s, had no problem wearing a KKK outfit during medical school. What type of morally bankrupt animal even think of being a physician in the 1980s and don black face and a KKK outfit, as he journeys towards being a physician? This one makes Bill “da rapist” Clinton look like a virgin.

One wonders whether Northam lynched blacks in Virginia, organized raids on black neighborhoods and euthanized them because he thought it was the right thing to do

Not only should he resign but his medical license should be revoked

      Lock him up

    1. Excerpted from the article linked above:

TRUMP: Well, based on everything I hear. Now they’ll probably be overly generous with things that you don’t need in terms of money. They’ll give you more money than you need for things that won’t help very much. And they’ll give you money for good things, too. But based on what I hear and based on what I read, they don’t want to give money for the wall.

You know I’m building the wall. You know that. I’m building the wall right now. I’m building — it’s been funded, and we’re buying it right. And we’re renovating large sections of wall. We’re building new sections of wall. We’re building the wall. The wall is going up as we speak. We’ll be up to, by the end of this year, 115 miles.

      [inaudible]

      TRUMP: At least.

AIDE: That’s either finished or under construction.

TRUMP: And that doesn’t include large amounts of wall that we’ll be starting before the end of the year. So we’ll be up to hundreds of miles of wall between new wall and renovation wall in a fairly short period of time. It’s the one thing. So I’m building the wall now, as we speak. And I’ll continue to build the wall, and we’ll get the wall finished. Now whether or not I declare a national emergency, that you’ll see

    2. Keep quoting Trump to keep everyone’s mind off of the baby killing advocated by Democrats.

It is a waste of time to discuss building the wall if Nancy Pelosi says there won’t be any discussion over the funding of the wall. That type of statement leads to nothing being accomplished but I think Democrats and Republicans together are trying to figure out a way of getting past this. Maybe instead of an impenatrable wall it will be an impenatrable fence. I think we can all live with that.

      1. But, but . . . Trump said that the wall is coming along just fine without the money. And then Trump blamed the Democrats for withholding the money for the wall.

Meanwhile, the national emergency at the US/Mexico border is still stuck in elevator listening to Muzak while waiting for an operator to put the call through.

          1. It could be Squeeky. But there’s no way to confirm that until estovir posts limericks. But then, again, if Fromm sues estovir for trademark infringement on an Irish poem, then the waters would be muddied again..

            1. Excerpted from the article linked above:

Founded in 1926 by Fr. Rey de Castro, S.J. in Havana, Cuba in order to give support to young Belen alumni throughout their college years at the University of Havana, the Agrupación Católica Universitaria (ACU) continues to be a Marian Congregation (CM) comprised of professional Catholic men, formed within the molds of the Society of Jesus, whose goal is to live a life in Christ based on the principals established in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. With houses in Miami, Atlanta, Washington DC, and Puerto Rico, the members of the ACU (also known as Agrupados or Congregantes) seek to fulfill man’s purpose in life through individual perfection, conceived as apostolic action executed within one’s own intellectual means, in order to occupy an influential position of true spiritual leadership. Such leadership is sought to influence decisions made in society, so that society may be brought into accordance with the path that will lead it to God.

The ACU is focused on the development of lay Catholic leaders for today’s society. This focus on leadership is reflected in the ACU’s motto – “Esto Vir”, meaning to be a mature man by doing what God expects one to do. As an organization of professionals, the ACU emphasizes the need for balance among what the organization defines as the three pillars – spiritual life, professional life, and apostolic life – each of which should be continuously developed and strengthened. This is carried out through individual spiritual development – especially through the annual participation in the Spiritual Exercises, weekly discussions on pertinent Catholic topics as they apply to one’s personal and professional life, and service activities that build upon the unique strengths and talents of the ACU’s members.

            1. Diane, after making your dumb accusations against me you finally looked up Esto Vir and found that what I said was reasonably correct. You have reminded me of the motto “Be a man”. Most of the left wing males on this blog don’t know how to be a man. Now whenever Estovir posts his name it will remind the wimpy leftists on this blog to be a man so that the leftist women on the blog can act like women.

When we all act like men and women we can go the next step and stop the baby killing.

              1. The Simpleton said, “Now whenever Estovir posts his name . . .”

You have not yet eliminated the possibility that the person posting under the alias Estovir is a woman. This is a frequent mistake that you make, Oblivious One. Here’s a hint: The signifier (Estovir) is not the signified (being a man) just because the signifier says so. In fact, even if Simon said, “Simon says, ‘Estovir is a man,'” the possibility that the person posting under the alias Estovir might be a woman still would not yet have been eliminated.

                1. We haven’t eliminated that possibilty with L4B, either.
“The person posting under the alias” Late4Dinner might be a man and that possibility has “not yet been eliminated”.

                  1. L4D might be a “virago.” Look it up. For extra credit, see if the term, “virago,” might apply to “Estovir.” Here’s another hint: They say that Ann Coulter is a virago. Just saying.

                2. “You have not yet eliminated the possibility that the person posting under the alias Estovir is a woman. ”

That is true and even if Estovir provides a gender on a blog such as this I don’t know the gender for sure. Therefore I choose a male gender unless I think or choose otherwise. I don’t care about your PC cr-p. I live a normal life not trying to catch up with the pod people. You must have been faster than me.

        1. Diane, there has been construction on the wall since at least the Clinton administration. Take note how the Democrats were in favor of the wall.

          https://downtrend.com/71superb/heres-chuck-schumer-from-2009-saying-illegal-immigration-is-wrong/

Wall construction is an ongoing funding issue. Democrats complain of children being separated from their mothers at the border but are more than willing to kill American babies. I suppose an American baby’s last chance of survival with a Democrat is to claim he is an illegal alien.

          1. Alan, I have alluded to this many, many times.

Bill Clinton began the border fence and it was greatly improved during George W’s time. This is a major reason ‘why’ border apprehensions fell constantly for almost 20 years.

But Trumpers, including ‘you’, Alan, refuse to recognize this long drop in apprehensions. And the reason you can’t acknowledge is because Trump is either unaware or doesn’t care.

Which goes to illustrate how Trump’s ignorance forces all his followers to adopt similar ignorance.

            1. Bill Clinton began the border fence and it was greatly improved during George W’s time. This is a major reason ‘why’ border apprehensions fell constantly for almost 20 years.

I love liberals arguing in the alternative. Do you get a bonus from Correct the Record for each one of these howlers?

            2. “But Trumpers, including ‘you’, Alan, refuse to recognize this long drop in apprehensions. ”

That is not what has happened. The most powerful companies in the country and powerful people wanted cheap labor and many people were happy with less expensive maids plus the Democrats looked towards the illegals as future Democrats that would vote Democrat.

The Democrats didn’t care about the working people whose salaries became stagnant. They didn’t care about the families. They didn’t even care about Blacks and that is quite obious from the number of Blacks killed in the inner cities where Democrats have control. Democrats were used to having Blacks in concentration camps on their plantations and now they are used to having them vote for them in blocks because Black leadership doesn’t care about their own.

You sound like a closet racist, Peter, but I don’t know that you are because stupidity and other things cause people to make your type of comments and act with antisocial and perhaps psychopathic behavior.

                  1. “Allan perfected his impersonation of Sluggo long ago.”

In the real world I have a direction. Diane, you are like an amoeba that is moved around without a thinking brain, but in your case pathetic dreams are the stimuli.

                    1. “In the real world”, Allan’s a nobody.

Allan is an idiot whose life clearly revolves around this blog. And no one of any significance cares what he has to say. He apparently thinks that he’s making a difference — one worthless comment at a time — when, in fact, he’s wasting his time. breath, and life — as are many others. It’s good, though. They’re contained here.

                    2. ““In the real world”, Allan’s a nobody.

Allan is an idiot whose life clearly revolves around this blog. ”

This is the anonymous some attribute to Diane. Both are near worthless in utilizeable knowledge. However, I do thank Diane and Anonymous ‘Diane’ for worrying about me. I do what I do to satisfy myself. Neither one or both of you live such a good life nor are either of you deserving of one.

Neither of you seem to to have great understanding of the world you live in. That demonstrates a life without experiences and thought. Right now you have to concentrate real hard to just draw a conclusion as to whether or not infanticide is a good thing.

                    3. The Oblivious One sputtered, “This is the anonymous some attribute to Diane. Both are near worthless in utilizeable knowledge. However, I do thank Diane and Anonymous ‘Diane’ for worrying about me. I do what I do to satisfy myself.”

I’m glad that you can recognize the real anonymous when you read her. (It’s not that hard.) Did you know that the real Diane has a real sister named Elaine? The real anonymous is NOT the real Diane’s real sister Elaine. And that’s a shame. The real Diane could use a real sister just like the real anonymous–so long as the real Diane still gets to be the oldest of the three.

                      P. S. Are you sure that you want to admit to “satisfying yourself” on this blawg, Sluggo?

                      P. S. S. I can’t stand feeling sorry for you, Llana. It’s soooo unnatural. Please cease and desist with your solicitations of pity from your peers.

                    4. “I’m glad that you can recognize the real anonymous when you read her. (It’s not that hard.) Did you know that the real Diane has a real sister named Elaine? The real anonymous is NOT the real Diane’s real sister…”

Diane it sounds like you are fantasizing so much that the Anonymous Diane seems to be a part of you. Happy fantasyzing. I’ll leave you to talk to yourself and all your personalities.

                1. Thank you Peter for placing me in the same company as Estovir. Though I may or may not agree with everything he says, he sounds like an intelligent caring fellow something that you and your friends lack.

    1. Northam and Pelosi would solve that by throwing dead babies in the hole they have dug, to get traction, while Peter “live in a left wimg bubble” Shill and Late4Brains would cover the deadly deed with black face and a KkK white sheet and say there was nothing to see….but they promise they have matured since then and that their racist actions do not reflect on their current dark, black soul

      Dictatorship of relativism

        1. estovir has not yet lauded Alex Jones, Dan Bongino, nor Joe Rogen. So estovir is probably not Oky1.

          P. S. estovir could be a unique individual with distinct personality that is new to the blawg.

          1. Estovir presumes that everyone is on his or her severe conservative wavelength. Suggesting, perhaps, that Estovir is in a small town somewhere and doesn’t interact too often with people from blue states.

            1. Nope. Check my post above.” Esto vir” is the motto of the Agrupación Católica Universitaria (ACU) which is a support group for alumni of The University of Havana, Cuba. They also have houses in Miami, Atlanta, Washington DC, and Puerto Rico. Oky1 is definitely not estovir. And we could both get in trouble for asking too many questions about estovir.

            2. Petrified Shill blathers “Suggesting, perhaps, that Estovir is in a small town somewhere and doesn’t interact too often with people from blue states.”

I have long argued that victims who graduated from government schools have grounds to wage a class action lawsuit against da gubermint for failure to educate them.

Had you thought of etymology or paid attention in your Latin classes when you were in grade school, you would not have made such a fool of yourself (perish the thought) of your inane comments about my profile name

Estovir….try it Peter. But that would require moral character

              ###

Ralph Northam must resign. And that’s just a start.
              https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2019/02/02/ralph-northam-must-resign-thats-just-start/

              1. Estovir,…
                – Regarding the earlier post commenting on you supposedly sounding “like an Oklahoma redneck”; wherever you live, you could always move to a place like Hollywood, were there’s a great, representative cross-section😉😊 of liberals, conservatives, and moderates.

                1. Tom, there are people from everywhere in Hollywood. I’ve met Oklahomans here and a lot of Texans. Texans, in fact, are not uncommon in L.A.

                  1. The Census Bureau says that in the four counties around Los Angeles, there are about 700,000 people born in the South. That’s 4% of the population. White Southerners make up 2.36%. It’s a reasonable wager about 0.5% of your population consists of white natives of Texas and 0.07% of white natives of Oklahoma.

                    1. Absurd,…
Half of the moderates and conservatives in Hollywood say that they are comfortable living in that left-wing bastion.
The other 5 moderates and conservatives say that they are shunned and treated like lepers.

                    2. Tabby, feel free to post your stats. I notice you never do. It’s always something we’re supposed to take your word for.

I don’t live in 4 counties. I live in Hollywood and most of the people I meet and know have some connection with the production industry. And it’s not unusual to encounter people from Houston or Dallas. Texas is America’s second most populous state. So a lot of Texans make their way to Hollywood.

              2. Didn’t the Democrat Northam call his Republican opponent (without just cause) a racist during the gubernatorial election in Virginia? The Democrats have been known as racist since the beginning of the party.

          2. You bring up Dan Bngino. He wrote a book I think called Spygate. I think his facts contradict your conclusions and his opinions do not seem to contradict one another. What do you have against him? He has a squeaky clean record and to be on the Presidential detail one has to be of sound mind and body. You, Diane, fail on both of these.

          3. I take it that L4B’s sister Elaine is not a fawning troll groupie like LT Anonymous.
Hence, L4B’s statement that she “could use a real sister like the real anonymous”.

        2. There was a new commenter last week who started out with Anonymous, then posted as Kay and one other name featuring the letter W that I’ve since forgotten. That commenter had a blog known as The Road Less Traveled which featured the reflections of an alternative medical student whose avatar showed The Pope blessing a leper. I can’t remember the other details off the top of my head.

In any case, Turley has a firm policy against delving too deeply into the identities of commenters on the blawg. I agree with Turley’s policy. If the commenter doesn’t volunteer information about himself or herself, then the rest of us should mind our own business.

          1. I understand some of the legitimate reasons for usernames instead of posting under one’s real name.
            Some of those reasons.
And in one case, a person here has openly changed usernames multiple times, apparently because of some unique log-in or filter issue.
And not to “double down”, or triple down as one person posting under multiple names.
When that happens, I think it’s akin to lying and cheating, so I disagree that some bogus “privacy issue” should prevent weeding out the double or triple dippers her.
If John Whatever is the real name, and John Whatever posts as John Smith, Joe Doe, and John Jones, calling those 3 aliases out does not expose the real name, John Whatever.
So this isn’t even an issue of privacy; it’s about reining in the unsrupulous use of sock puppets.

              1. I’m telling you that Turley has a rule against it. I’m not making that up. You can complain about it all you want. But you should stop asking pesky questions about Estovir and stick with whatever Estovir voluntarily reveals.

Don’t freak out about the baby-killer accusation. Guilt by association is low behavior. And Estovir knows it.

                1. I haven’t seen a rule regarding sock puppets….I don’t think that there is an established policy on the sock puppet issue here, but there are ways of exposing it and clamping down on it that aren’t violations of privacy.
That’s what I was getting at in the example above.

          2. Laconic4Deeds writes: “If the commenter doesn’t volunteer information about himself or herself, then the rest of us should mind our own business.”

That is contrary to your hero’s policies.

            2 edged sword baby.

            1. Estovir, if you think we’re all ‘enemies’, go back to Cuba. We dont need immigrants who think of us as ‘enemies’.

              1. What Peter was saying is that legal citizens have to make room for illegal ones. Maybe that is why Democrats support baby killing.

            2. Estovir, you no longer sound just like a Fool for Christ. I’m sorely disappointed in you.

              P. S. You’re practicing guilt by association. And you’re wrong.

“Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”

                1. I think what L4B was saying earlier is that there’s some privacy policy about asking or expecting answers to personal questions.
I believe this was after she speculated about Estovir’s possible religious affiliations, which is somewhat ironic.

                  1. It’s not necessarily ironic if the alias, “Estovir” is, itself, a sarcasm. Besides, I’m not the one who volunteered the information contained in the alias “Estovir.” The person using that alias volunteered that information. And it’s almost certainly a misnomer.

                    1. So purpose in tying the name to the ACU, then going into detail about the ACU was all an attempt by you at irony, or an attempt to point out ironic use of the name “Estovir”?
                      Sure it was.
I didn’t see where “The person using that alias volunteered that information” about the motto or the organization.
I saw that you “volunteered” that info.

                    2. The alias, “Estovir,” was a voluntary clue that led to the motto “Esto Vir” of the ACU. That much is fair game. If you’d like, you could post information about the idiom, “late for dinner.” That, too, is fair game for the same reason.

                2. Be A Straw-Man said, “Latin is not Cuban. It’s a language.”

L4D did not say that Latin is Cuban. Nor did L4D say that the person commenting under the alias “Estovir” is Cuban. Moreover, it is highly doubtful that Agrupación Católica Universitaria would accept the person posting under the alias “Estovir” as a member of their organization. Any Jack-A-Napes can pose as ” . . . a mature man by doing what God expects one to do.” But it’s a whole ‘nother thing to undergo the rigors of The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola in just such a way as actually to perceive what “God wants one to do.” Until then, the person posting under the alias “Estovir” will remain but A Straw-Man, just like that impersonage’s arguments on this blawg.

                  1. Perhaps that last point is too subtle. Consider the possibility that doing what one expects a mature man should want to do might be something significantly other than doing what God wants one to do. How can one be sure that God wants one to do the same thing that one wants oneself to do? Is there anything in the commentary of Estovir so far that resembles something that God would want a mature man to do?

                    1. Perhaps not everyone is familiar with the Dianese language.
Perhaps most readers understand and prefer direct and unambiguous English.

                    2. Excerpted from the article linked above:

In the words of the most famous occasionalist of the Western philosophical tradition, Nicolas Malebranche, “there is only one true cause because there is only one true God; …the nature or power of each thing is nothing but the will of God; … all natural causes are not true causes but only occasional causes”

                  2. The phrase “late for dinner” is related to the words “out to lunch”.
A person said to be “out to lunch” is one who is not really with it.
“Late for dinner” indicates an extreme case of out to lunchism that has progressed to a terminal and irreversible stage.

                    1. That dinner will eventually be served remains inevitable.

Whether L4D shows up on time or not at all remains irrelevant.

                    2. The following was said by Tom Nash on Feb 3rd at 8:09 AM:

‘The phrase “late for dinner” is related to the words “out to lunch”.’

Late4Dinner is certainly not Out2Lunch — in the sense of “not really with it.”

Go back to bed, Tom Nash

                    3. Anonymous Diane writes “Late4Dinner is certainly not Out2Lunch — in the sense of “not really with it.””

This sounds as if Diane can’t defend herself so her alter ego or her other alias does it for her. It is quite pitiful.

                    4. I’ve already told LT Anonymous that I don’t accept senseless advice from a troll groupie using an alias😶.
But if LTA wants to repost what others write, for whatever reason, there’s nothing wrong with that.
There never seemed to be much going on upstairs😳 with LT Anonymous, so posting links and quotes from other sources is just about the limit of that troll goupie’s potential.

                  3. Diane, the name Estovir has provided you with a lot of problems. I note all your Googling that goes on and all the copying as well. It seems that you are able to decode words but your comprehension is lacking.

By the way, Latin is not Cuban though you might deny ever thinking it now. I told you earlier that I thought vir is latin for husband (man, manliness). Take note of words containing vir such as virility. Of course it could mean a lot of other things. Maybe he comes from a place embedded in his name or maybe in order to satisfy your fantasies the word is broken up differently into Est, is, and OVIR an abbreviation for a Russian agency, Office of Visas and Registration. If you have friends or family from Russia they may have dealt with that office before they left the state. Maybe Estovir is the Trump connection you have been fantasizing about.

                    1. Now that’s what I call “thinking with gas.” Good job, Sluggo. (See: Eruction. Compare w/ chewing cud.)

However . . . Since Estovir is not promoting the candicacy of Tulsi Gabbard the way all of the cool Russian trolls are, your gas-burp about OVIR is almost certainly wrong.

BTW, did you know that one of Estovir’s comments was removed from the blawg yesterday? What’s going on?

            3. “A stitch in time saves 9″
              ” Measure twice, cut once.
” A bird in the hand in worth two in the bush”.
” The early bird gets the worm”.
There are more lame sayings that can quoted/cut and pasted here, but in combination with the gems above, might be enough for one day.

  6. Okay, Democrats: You got what you were looking for. Satisfied?

Probably not, because those facts didn’t match with your preconceived notions of what you wanted to find.

  7. Well I have to be fair here and give credit to Democrats where credit is due.
Since Dems took the House they have indeed provided more women, especially women in the African American communities, with easier access to more affordable reproductive health care.
Now, thanks to the Cuomo, Northam etc. improved abortion laws, instead of having to make a difficult journey on a bus, to and from an abortion clinic, and having to pay an average of $700 to kill her baby, a woman can now, in the privacy of her own home deliver the child, bash it’s skull to a pulp and conveniently toss it in the trash for just the cost of a $4 claw hammer.
    Now THAT’S progress.

    1. But a ‘border wall’ is immoral !!! says Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats.

btw, if you think Ralph Northam is having a bad week, just imagine the wall to wall cable coverage and commentary IF HE WAS A REPUBLICAN GOVERNOR!

I bet Natacha, Fishwings, Marky Mark, et al, have not even heard the “news” yet.

        1. “A photo from Gov. Ralph Northam’s medical school yearbook shows him and another person in racist costumes — one wearing blackface and one a Ku Klux Klan robe and hood, though it was not clear which person was the future governor.

The photo, which The Virginian-Pilot obtained a copy of Friday from the Eastern Virginia Medical School library, comes from the 1984 yearbook, the year Northam graduated.”

          1. Where are the libs on this? Shouldn’t they be outraged?
I would think that some way, some how, this qualifies as cultural appropriation.

            1. Northam’s press people said “the Governor is going to leave it to the photo’s mother and doctor to decide if it is viable. Until a decision is made, they will keep it comfortable before they determine the right way to ‘kill’ the story.”

            2. Dawn,…
There is a way to get “the libs on this”.
If Trump nominates Northam to be the Surgeon General, the Democrats involved in Senate Confirmation process will then “get on this” because of who nominated him.

        2. Bob, considering the time and place this might have very little to do with who Northam is as an adult and under normal circumstances I probably wouldn’t attach much significance to it without other information that pointed to a bad person. However, in today’s environment this is the only way to fight the fascitic left. Look at the dirtyness of those on this blog that care little about the truth. Sometimes one has to stoop to their level and their level is quite low being dishonest and violent.

      1. TRob sezs: “I bet Natacha, Fishwings, Marky Mark, et al, have not even heard the “news” yet.“

They are waiting for their trolling talking points to be distributed to them by David Brock, their bread and butter leader. People in left wing bubbles and all that

      BREAKING

Ralph Northam yearbook page shows men in blackface and KKK robe

      https://pilotonline.com/news/government/politics/virginia/article_67fdd682-2662-11e9-a7d1-c7ed70e09b50.html

A photo from Gov. Ralph Northam’s medical school yearbook shows two men, one in blackface and one in a Ku Klux Klan robe and hood, on the same page as the future governor.

The photo, which The Virginian-Pilot obtained a copy of Friday from the Eastern Virginia Medical School library, comes from the 1984 yearbook, the year Northam graduated.

On the half-page set aside for Northam, there is a headshot of him in a jacket and tie, a photo of him in a cowboy hat and boots and a third of him sitting casually on the ground, leaning against a convertible.

The fourth photo on the half-page has two people, one wearing white Ku Klux Klan robes and a hood, the other with his face painted black. The person with the black face is also wearing a white hat, black jacket, white shirt with a bow tie and plaid pants. Both are holding canned drinks.

It’s unclear who the people in costume are.

Under the photo of the men in blackface and the Klan hood are listed Northam’s alma mater, Virginia Military Institute, and his interest: “Pediatrics.” His quote is listed as “There are more old drunks than old doctors in this world so I think I’ll have another beer.”

The governor’s office did not immediately respond to requests for comment Friday afternoon.

The chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia, Jack Wilson, said in a statement: “Racism has no place in Virginia. These pictures are wholly inappropriate. If Governor Northam appeared in blackface or dressed in a KKK robe, he should resign immediately.”

      1. it just gets better and better and better

“Taikein Cooper, who is black and is the chairman of the Prince Edward Democratic Committee, also called on Northam to resign. “You can’t champion racial reconciliation, during the 400 year anniversary of enslaved Americans being brought to Virginia, while being comfortable under the hood and/or behind a blackface,” Cooper posted on social media.

Last month, Florida’s secretary of state, Michael Ertel, resigned after photos emerged of him posing as a Hurricane Katrina victim in blackface 14 years ago, the Tallahassee Democrat reported.

Jack Wilson, chairman of the state GOP, said in a statement that “Racism has no place in Virginia,” and that the “pictures are wholly inappropriate.”

Wilson said:”If Governor Northam appeared in blackface or dressed in a KKK robe, he should resign immediately.”

Republican leaders in the House and Senate said in a statement: “This is a deeply disturbing and offensive photograph in need of an immediate explanation by the governor.”

  10. Since some on the left appear confused over the abortion bill proposed in Virginia I will quote what Governor Northam said on WTOP Radio 2 days ago in support of post-birth abortions. This killing of human lives is right out of the playbook of the facist NAZI government that believed in killing people and placing them in concentration (work) camps just like the southern Democrats did to blacks until the Civil War. The Democrats did the same thing to the American Indian. The black had greater value since that had to pay $1,000-$1,500 when they purchased them so they didn’t kill or leave them to die. The culture of the left and many Democrats seems not to have changed. That type of racist facism (for Becka) was limited to the NAZI’s and didn’t show up in Mousilini’s fascist Italy.

Northam: “The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.”
