Trump Supporters Chant “Send Her Back” At North Carolina Rally [Update]

In one of the most disturbing moments of his presidency, Donald Trump stood before a huge crowd in Greenville, N.C. as his supporters chanted “send her back” in reference to Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN). I have previously discussed Trump’s disgraceful comments regarding Omar and three other freshman members of Congress. While many of us condemned those statements, Trump’s popularity has actually risen with Republicans in the aftermath. Even Trump’s past association with Jeffrey Epstein have not had an impact. NBC just released the video below showing Trump partying with Epstein. Update: Trump says that he didn’t not agree with the chant.

At the rally, Trump declared:

We have the enthusiasm. Look at this. And by the way, thousands and thousands of people outside and people that couldn’t get in. Thousands. We’ve got all the enthusiasm, they’re fighting each other. They’ve gone so far left nobody wants to even think about it. So Representative Omar blamed the United States for the terrorist attacks on our country, saying that terrorism is a reaction to our involvement in other people’s affairs.

She smeared U.S. service members involved in Blackhawk Down. In other words, she slandered the brave Americans who were trying to keep peace in Somalia. Omar minimized the September 11th attacks on our homeland, saying some people did something. I don’t think so. Some people did something. Yeah. Some people did something alright.

She pleaded for compassion for ISIS recruits attempting to join the terrorist organization. Omar laughed that Americans speak of al-Qaida in a menacing tone and remarked that you don’t say ‘America’ with this intensity. You say ‘al-Qaida’ makes you proud. Al-Qaida makes you proud! You don’t speak that way about America.

The responsive chant “send her back” is as chilling as it is xenophobic. One GOP member said the chant “would send chills down the spines of the Founding Fathers.” Omar is a U.S. citizen who is “home.” She has succeeded in coming to his country as a child and became a member of Congress. That is precisely what this country is meant to stand for. She is trying to make this country a better place. I disagree with many of her views and well as her comments. However, that is part of a debate that can occur between citizens. For the President to stand before thousands screaming “send her home” is a terrible stain on the office of the president.

It is remarkable to see the teflon coating on Trump’s poll numbers. NBC just released a video showing Trump laughing and partying with Epstein.

The November 1992 tape shows Donald Trump partying with Epstein at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate. It was more than a decade before Epstein pleaded guilty to felony prostitution charges in Florida.

  1. TRUMP SHOULDN’T MIND IF PEOPLE TELL MELANIA TO..

GO BACK TO WHERE SHE CAME FROM

Has anyone noticed the irony? Two of Trump’s three wives came here as immigrants. Yet I have never seen a detailed explanation regarding Melania’s entrance into this country. I suspect mainstream media was too polite to really probe that matter.

But let’s just say, for the sake of argument, that Melania was the featured guest at an event where she was expected to make a speech. And what if the crowd broke into chants of “Go back to where you came from!”?

Would Trump supporters dismiss such an incident? Would Trump supporters say, “That isn’t hate speech”? ..Of course they wouldn’t!..!! Trump himself would go into fits of rage. Trump would demand that everyone who was present be questioned by the FBI. He would then fume for days while dispatching a chain of furious tweets.

    1. “Has anyone noticed the irony? Two of Trump’s three wives came here as immigrants.”

No irony. Trump isn’t a racist. You are.

      1. Yeah, Alan, Trump has a fetish for Slavic women. His daughter’s name screams that in bold letters. So Trump won’t mind taking exile in Russia when everyone discovers Christopher Steele was dead-on.

        1. You sound like a racist Peter.

The reports are coming in and I think Christopher Steele disagrees with your very blunt opinion as do many others.

    2. Hill:

It is not always about race.

Ilhan Omar fled a socialist, impoverished, wrecked country (Somalia was socialist until the 90’s). She was raised to be anti-semitic, in a country where 98% of women undergo female genital mutilation as young children.

The United States was her refuge.

She rose to political power, only to support socialism, high taxes, and other methods that would impoverish her new country. She failed to leave hatred behind, and is openly anti-semitic. She has defended terrorists, asking for leniency from a judge. She said the 9/11 terrorists “did something”. She has compared Israel to Nazi Germany. She supports the Green New Deal, which would ground air travel, destroy our economy, and send America back to the third world.

In short, she has learned nothing. She did not bring her knowledge of Somalia’s problems as a political leader. Rather, she seems busily trying to reenact many of the problems that her family fled from. She failed to leave hatred behind.

It is a valid point that she clearly does not understand what the causes of her country of origin’s problems are. I would not have said she should revisit her host country and try to learn from its mistakes, and then return a wiser person. Since absolutely everything is filtered through race, you could say this about a Russian trying to import Socialism, but not a black person from a black country. It will be assumed that it’s racist, and not political, and there is nothing anyone will ever be able to say to convince some people otherwise. Even when the object is an anti-semite, there will be those who will not believe there was any reason for Trump supporters to reject her other than her race. Plus, once you become a citizen, you are one of us, for better or worse. While one can suggest that she revisit her old country, “send her back” is wrong to apply to a citizen.

I think that it says a lot that:
      1. The people of Minnesota voted for an open anti-Semite Democrat who supports Socialism
      2. The Democrat Party keeps defending an open-semite who said the 9/11 terrorists “did something” and compares Israel to Nazi Germany
      3. It is Republicans who oppose Ilhan Omar’s hateful rhetoric, and who want the allegations of immigration fraud investigated. Some Some Democrats have criticized the “it’s all about the Benjamins” comments, but yet the House watered down the bill aimed at rebuking her until it was ineffective. Democrats keep rallying behind her.
      4. No one can “send her back” unless she is denaturalized for fraud, and even then it’s a high burden of proof for such a drastic step.

While I disagree with the “send her back” chant, ask yourself this. Were Trump supporters saying to send her back because she is black, and they don’t want black people here, or was it because Ilhan Omar is an anti-Semite, pro-Socialist, supports the Green New Deal which would impoverish everyone except some government officials, asked for leniency for terrorists, said the 9/11 terrorists “did something”, and is alleged to have engaged in multiple counts of immigration fraud. She left a wrecked country, and is supporting policies that would do great harm to her new one, having learned nothing.

How could anyone read a list of all of the complaints that Trump and his supporters have against Ilhan Omar, and come to the conclusion that they just don’t like her because she’s black?

While there is nothing wrong with suggesting that someone needs to better understand the problems that caused her to flee her original country and come here, no one can force an American citizen to leave the country short of a court order after denaturalization.

I do not think that Trump should have suggested that she return to Somalia and figure out its problems, and then come back here. That plays right into the hands of people who will assume it’s a “go back to Africa” comment to black people. Racists don’t want black people to learn how to be better leaders and return here. They just want them gone. He should have said that she should learn what caused the problems in Somalia instead of holding on to her hatred of Jews, and trying to create similar problems here. His choice of wording created problems for him.

If an Italian fled Mussolini, became a politician that was Fascist, it would be pretty clear what “go back to Italy and learn how to fix its problems before you return” would not be racist. Same thing for a Russian immigrating, and becoming a Socialist politician.

      1. Omar was 10 when her family immigrated and the problem with her country which caused them to live in a Kenyan refugee camp – as did Ayyan Hirsi, the author of the excellent “Infidel” – wasn’t socialism, it was civil war.

Being critical of Israel is not anti-semitism and Omar apoligized for the remark she made about “Benjamins”. Trump hasn’t apologized reporsting similar crap from a neo-Nazi web site or defending attendees at neo-Nazi rally in CHarlottesville as some fine people.

Karen is such an ideological hack she tries to fit reality into the latest crap she read at Breitbart. It never works

    3. Hill:

“Two of Trump’s three wives came here as immigrants.” It’s like he’s not anti-immigrant. Weird.

    4. 1. Melania is here quite lawfully.

      2. She isn’t attacking the United States, or, indeed any foreign country (certainly not any benign country like Israel).

      3. She did not arrive here from a latrine. Slovenia is less affluent than the United States or France. It’s still a 1st tier country economically. It’s a parliamentary state. It has a low crime rate.

      4. We’re not facing any social or cultural dilemmas from mass Slavic colonization of the United States. (Ethnic Slavs amount to about 8% of the non-Hispanic white population; roughly 80% are from historically Catholic territories and 20% historically Orthodox).

  2. “For the President to stand before thousands screaming “send her home” is a terrible stain on the office of the president.”

    – Professor Turley
    _______________

Wait. What? You just said that?

What the —- was it that “Crazy Abe” Lincoln left if not a colossal stain on the office of the president. Bearing the burden of homosexual tendencies, “Crazy Abe” nullified the Constitution and Bill of Rights and neutralized the legislative and judicial branches, seized all power as a brutal tyrant and dictator, ruled by executive order and proclamation, prosecuted an illegal, undeclared war of aggression against a sovereign foreign nation, illegally and forcibly conscripted young men to fight his illegal war, confiscated private property, denied private property rights to Americans, suspended Habeas Corpus, destroyed press buildings and printing presses, threw publishers and other opponents in prison without an appearance before a judge or a trial, totally annihilated many American cities and commercial and agricultural areas, arranged for his successors to corruptly and improperly ratify illegitimate and unconstitutional “Reconstruction Amendments” at gunpoint under the duress of postwar military occupation and intimidation, and, ultimately, he forced Americans to kill one million Americans.

You want a “stain” on the office of the president? There was no more repugnant, abhorrent, detestable and heinous stain violently regurgitated on the office of the president than that of “Crazy Abe” Lincoln.

  3. “Omar is a U.S. citizen who is “home.” She has succeeded in coming to his country as a child and became a member of Congress. That is precisely what this country is meant to stand for. She is trying to make this country a better place.”
    **********************
Looks like the Trump chanters are on to something. Here’s Citizen Omar and what author David Steinberg calls “…. perhaps the most extensive spree of illegal misconduct committed by a House member in American history.”

    Read his evidence for yourself:

    https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2019/07/david-steinberg-tying-up-loose-threads-in-the-curious-case.php

Facts are pesky things. So are liars like ‘Taqiyya” Omar.

  4. Turley: For the President to stand before thousands screaming “send her home” is a terrible stain on the office of the president.

What are you saying? The rant by the crowd is a stain of the presidency? If so, why is that? Or are you saying that Trump is responsible for the crowd chanting? That would be an irresponsible statement that defies logic.

  5. Turley: It is remarkable to see the teflon coating on Trump’s poll numbers. NBC just released a video showing Trump laughing and partying with Epstein.

Is this the hallmark of your legal career? Guilt by association?

    1. I will! Go back to your DNC controlled LA Schithole & fix it then come back & tell us how you succeeded in doing.

      1. Oky1, you seemed a little drunk last night. Sleep late today?

And if you think L A’s a schithole, that’s fine with me. Stay on your farm in Oky.

      2. Oky shows his hatred of America again. Go back to Hungary or Scotlanf or wherever you came from.

  6. I don’t want to send Omar anywhere nor do I want to send any of the other three out of the country. I want them to stay here and I want them to keep talking. Because they are the gift that keeps on giving to Trump’s re-election campaign.

  7. So Trump lies once again and claims he does not agree with the “send her back’ chants he instigated? Then, why didn’t he say so to the deplorables at the rally? Because he’s only making this claim after he got criticized by other Republicans. He also lies about Omar and the other 3 women of color and what they have supposedly said. But….it stirs up the base. It gets those cheers that the narcissist and his fragile ego so desperately need. He will literally say or do anything for attention, praise and adulation. The only question is: how far will he go and whether enough Republicans will grow the soul of patriots and do something about it.

See, narcissism is the fuel that drives this aberration of nature. He was so jealous that a slim, athletic and attractive black man was a successful President and won the Nobel Peace Prize, that he just had to run and needed to win, even if he had to have Russians help him cheat. His entire agenda, other than seeking attention and adulation, has been to try to undo everything Obama accomplished, regardless of whether it was good. He and the Republicans don’t have any health plan, much less one superior to the ACA, but they’re still trying to get it overturned, including in court, even though 22 million will lose coverage. He has never had any plan for border security, other than “catch and hold”, which was not budgeted properly and which has resulted in human rights abuses. He intentionally separated small children from their parents as a deterrent. Now, he’s proposing requiring migrants to apply for asylum in their own countries, which everyone knows will be denied. That will only exacerbate illegal migration, thus worsening the humanitarian crisis at the border, which he will blame on Democrats. He’s planning to try to force them to give him a blank check to improve conditions, but with no oversight, which he will divert to build his wall, so he can brag to the deplorables: “Promises Made….Promises Kept.” As to the Republicans who aren’t white and non college educated, they just want to keep the tax cuts and consumer and environmental protections that have been rolled back. They really aren’t down for the xenophobia, islamophobia, racism and misogyny like the non college educated whites, but they really don’t feel strongly enough about the wrongness of these things to vote against him. Therefore I ask: are there enough patriots left out there to get rid of this bad chapter in American history?

    1. Nathasha is a Russian name. Maybe you colluded. Since I’m married to a Jewish man his opinion of Omar is more credible than yours. He can’t stand her. She’s an anti-semite.

. “He was so jealous that a slim, athletic and attractive black man was a successful President and won the Nobel Peace Prize”

Wow! What an intelligent comment. Jealous of a slim athletic attractive man? Obama was not attractive nor athletic. He couldn’t throw a baseball and he wore mom jeans. Not my type. Did you ever see Trump as a younger man? He was a New York playboy. Obama also has no mechanical skills like most men have. Couldn’t change a light bulb, I’m sure. That’s sure someone to be jealous of and his wife. No comparison. As far as the freebie Nobel Peace Prize that was given out just for being Black, Trump’s is coming. And for his feats not his race.

    2. Bad chapter in American history? What’s so bad? Seriously, what is so bad? Economy is strong. More people are working than ever before. Mostly peace in the world. Pedo rings are being busted right and left. Drug overdoses are down. China is being challenged in ways it has never been challenged before.
Talking with North Korea, working on a ME peace plan, etc. What is so bad? You don’t like Trump or how he speaks or tweets. So what? How specifically does it affect you and your everyday life? You can still have your abortions, ladies. What’s the problem?

      1. Even if Roe is overturned, you will still be able to have your abortions. But to work toward ending abortions as a form of birth control is “directionally correct”….we want fewer abortions in the world, not more. So again, what is the problem? You want to be more socialistic? You want free stuff? What’s the problem? Things are pretty dang good as far as I can see.

  8. I’m really disturbed by the ‘guilt by association’ that this article seems to buy into. Epstein committed a number of despicable crimes; however, there is no evidence that Trump was aware of them or participated in them. Knowing Epstein personally is not a crime; If it were, half of Hollywood would be in jail over their association with Harvey Weinstein. Such evidence as there is indicates that when the sleazier side of Epstein became known to Trump, he ended the association, as any decent person would. No proof that Trump knew of Epstein’s illegal activities or participated in them has been brought forward.

    1. Jane, your argument would have merit if Trump weren’t aggressively distracting us with this hate speech.

  9. https://www.israellycool.com/2019/07/18/about-ilhan-omars-antisemitic-pro-bds-resolution/

About Ilhan Omar’s Antisemitic, Pro-BDS Resolution

Rep. Ilhan Omar has just introduced a new pro-BDS resolution in Congress, with fellow antisemite Rep. Rashida Tlaib and Rep. John Lewis.

Although the BDS movement is not mentioned explicitly in the text of the resolution, it was introduced with this specifically in mind

and was clearly the response to House Resolution 246, which opposes “efforts to delegitimize the State of Israel and the Global Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions Movement targeting Israel.”

But Omar continues to lie, pretending it isn’t.

Note how Omar compares the BDS movement to other boycott movements “leading back to the Boston Tea Party.” That’s not the only wild comparison she makes. In the resolution itself, she mentions the efficacy of boycotts in history, listing, inter alia, those

attempting to slow Japanese aggression in the Pacific in 1937 and 1938
against Nazi Germany from March 1933 to October 1941
in opposition to apartheid in South Africa
By doing so, Omar is making offensive analogies between Israel and Imperialist Japan, Nazi Germany, and Apartheid South Africa.

    But she’s smart.

While effectively comparing Israel to Nazi Germany (a comparison that falls foul of the IHRA’s working definition of antisemitism), she specifically mentions those boycotts were ‘in response to the dehumanization of the Jewish people in the lead-up to the Holocaust.’ In other words, the resolution has an in-built defense to allegations of the very antisemitism it propagates.

This is the equivalent of “some of my best friends are Jewish.”

Also, note the timing of this resolution. I’ll allow Rep. Lee Zeldin explain what I am getting at.

I do not recall the “peace-loving” Omar condemning Fathi Hammad’s call to slaughter the Jews.

Then again, she doesn’t seem to think Hamas et al. are violent.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) says that the Palestinian movement against Israel is non-violent: “In the situation of Palestine, what we are doing right now is having hypocrisy in not celebrating non-violent movements there and condemning it.” pic.twitter.com/t2ypORMtXu

    — Ryan Saavedra (@RealSaavedra) July 14, 2019

Of course, Omar has a real rocky relationship with the truth. Before being elected to Congress, she had voiced her opposition to BDS at a forum at Beth El Synagogue in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

The Jews must have “hypnotized” her at the time.

Omar clearly feels untouchable at the moment.

You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I’ll rise.

She must be laughing at how she can get away with the saying things she has been saying.

  10. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi refuses to speak out against fellow Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar’s resolution to support the anti-Semitic BDS movement.

    1. “Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi refuses to speak out against fellow Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar’s resolution to support the anti-Semitic BDS movement.”

Isn’t that fantastic? That statement by Trump was aimed at Democrats that can’t stand Omar and now Pelosi is siding with them. Can they still stand Nancy?

  11. In one of the most disturbing moments of his presidency, Donald Trump stood before a huge crowd in Greenville, N.C. as his supporters chanted “send her back”…Trump’s popularity has actually risen with Republicans in the aftermath.

That’s awesome! I’m glad you found that moment disturbing. Because after 3.5 years of watching the Left do anything and everything imaginable to destroy this administration, the Republican base is more solidly behind him than ever. And this is before Huber and Horowitz release their reports. Once those reports drop and the MSM is forced to either report the truth or get buried by it, the American people will see President Trump standing there like Arnold Schwarzenegger in the ending scene from the movie Predator.

Donald Trump is not the model for Chief Executive our founding fathers intended for this constitutional republic. He is however exactly what this country needs if it is to remain a constitutional republic. Progressives had this country on a slow boil until Obama arrogantly decided to turn up the heat. Big mistake. Americans woke up and began to realize they needed to fight the progressives now. President Trump has recaptured our flag and exposed the Left as the enemies to this republic that they are.

  12. The Left are anti-Semitic. They have no place in America, in leadership, with their bigoted, antisemitic hate

Omar introduces resolution defending boycott of Israel, likens it to boycotts of Nazi Germany, Soviet Union

U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar proposed a resolution this week supporting the right to boycott Israel, likening the boycott of the Jewish state to boycotts of Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union.

Omar’s measure will be co-sponsored by U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., the first female Palestinian-American lawmaker in Congress who openly supports a one-state solution in the Israeli-Palestine conflict, and U.S. Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga.

But the resolution will likely lead to yet another clash with her fellow Democrats who are mulling a resolution condemning the boycott movement.

    1. Estovir, while virtue signaling these craziesforget that Palestinians need jobs and if they succeeded in their boycot it would be Palestinians put out of work.

      1. LOL:)

OT: I’ve been seeing in recent months there are people working on ways to allow dogs to talk.

        I’m completely against it!

The reason is that dogs are man’s best friend…. why because they keep their mouths shut about their friends! 🙂

  13. The founding fathers hated their government. They were all immigrants. They not only did not leave this continent. Instead, they asked their government to leave at gunpoint. Conservatives often say they revere people in the past. They are often lying.

    1. “They were all immigrants.” No, 48 of the 56 signers of the Declaration were born in the colonies. You can’t fix a low IQ.

    2. “The founding fathers hated their government. ”

Where did you get that idea?

      “They were all immigrants.”

      Were they?

“They not only did not leave this continent. Instead, they asked their government to leave at gunpoint. Conservatives often say they revere people in the past. They are often lying.”

How old are you? Were you forced to learn history from Howard Zinn? Your understanding of American history is abysmal.

    3. Jill,

I thank you & Prof Turley’s TDS attacks on Trump supporters & supporting violence against us & your support for the Anti-American Trash that wishes to comment violence against us/our nation. Thank You!

You guys just keep posting & Shooting, I can see the future, no doubt you can provoke more nut job Jihadis to respond, but others will having been preparing, & are prepared to defend themselves.

After more then 3 years of this TDS type Crap, Americans have awakened from their slumber.

And notice Turley just ignores Google/Big Tech Rigging US/Worldwide Elections.

  14. JT: “Update: Trump says that he didn’t not agree with the chant.”

Then he should have said something and quieted the crowd at the time. Too late. Not presidential.

        1. You are guaranteed a job for the next 5 years trolling for George Soros and David Brock

          😉

  15. Can Ilhan Omar lose her citizenship status and be deported if it is proven that she engaged in fraud, married her own brother, while remaining married to her original husband? There are other allegations of immigration fraud against her, in addition to the marriage fraud.

Perhaps. There is a high burden of proof, as there should be, and it would be for the court to decide.

I suppose the real question is if the law applies to everyone equally, or not.

“”Because citizenship is such a precious right, it cannot be taken away unless the government is able to meet a high burden of proof… Accordingly, a case should only be referred for denaturalization where there is objective evidence to establish that the individual was not eligible for naturalization, or procured naturalization by willful concealment or material misrepresentation.”

If your U.S. citizenship is revoked, you may be deported soon after the verdict is issued.”

    https://immigration.findlaw.com/citizenship/can-your-u-s-citizenship-be-revoked-.html

    1. Karen is on a silly deportation kick.

Omar came to the U.S. when she was ten, and was naturalized in 2000 at the age of 17.

She is not going to be deported, Karen.

      1. Silly deportation kick?

In reality, I answered Jill that no one can force Ilhan Omar to leave the country unless she lost her naturalized citizenship for fraud and was deported. Merely wondering why someone doesn’t leave does not force anyone to do so.

You claimed that could never happen.

I answered with a link to the immigration law describing the denaturalization process. I said it would be up to a court of law, and I’m not an attorney. Earlier, I said I wished that Ilhan Omar would abandon her antisemitism and pro-Socialism, and stay in the country as a voice of reason. I never said that Ilhan Omar should get deported, only that she might if she’s found guilty of fraud in the naturalization process. It would be up to the courts.

I am actually sad that someone would flee a socialist failing country and then grow up to push for socialism in the country that gave her refuge from Socialism. Doesn’t seem rational, which is concerning.

“Deportation kick” does not mean what you think it means.

You often mock those who rebut your statements with facts. Ad hominem attempts to shut down reasoned discussion with name calling.

        1. Let me repeat that:

Karen is on a silly deportation kick.

Omar came to the U.S. when she was ten, and was naturalized in 2000 at the age of 17.

She is not going to be deported, Karen.

          1. Omar, or whatever her real name is, is a Muslim who came from Somalia when she was 10. So it’s quite possible that she was married, because sharia law allows females to be married off to older men at age 7. And she may have been married to her brother, but since that is legal in Somalia, it would not be immigration fraud. I think she’s an ingrate who spits on the country which took her in as a refugee. I really don’t care where she goes, and I don’t know any country that would want her, but it would be fine with me if she left the U.S. I don’t see why Turley’s got his panties in a twist over what was quite obviously an expression political opinion, not a literal demand to deport her. That being said, Turley should go back to Chicago and fix it. Then come back to D.C. and let us know how it’s done. HaHaHa. Get a grip, Professor!

  16. JT: “It is remarkable to see the teflon coating on Trump’s poll numbers. ”

It’s kevlar, not teflon…and you’ve been shooting blanks for years now.

The left is impotent in the face of Trump: Remember impeachment? Yeah, oh well. Remember Russia? Yeah, rather not. Obstruction! Yeah, no. 25th Amendment! Let’s forget that one. Remember the “crisis” at the border? It’s a fake crisis…um, I meant to say it’s a huge crisis and it’s all Trump’s fault…and on and on.

  17. “The decades-long Republican strategy of tying Democratic proposals to ‘socialism’”

    Washington Post
    Published on Jun 20, 2019

“Ahead of the 2020 elections, Republicans are again trying to contrast themselves with Democrats by linking Democratic policy proposals to “socialism.” Will it work?”

    1. It’s clear, Democratic proposals are frequently socialist in nature. What is new about that. Why can’t the Democrats debate their ideas factually and stop playing the race card?
