Roman Polanski Accused Of New Rape By Former French Model

The concerted public rehabilitation of Oscar-winning director Roman Polanski, 86, took another blow this month after a former French model came forward with a detailed account of a rape that was also supported by two women (including a former girlfriend of Polanski). Valentine Monnier recounted the rape at his chalet to Le Parisien newspaper which allegedly occurred in 1975 when she was 18.

Monnier said that she was a teenager at a ski resort when she was allegedly attacked. She said the assault was “extremely violent” and Polanski “pummelled me until I gave in and then raped me, making me do all sorts of things.”

“I had no links with him, neither personal nor professional, and hardly knew him,” Monnier, a former model who worked in New York, said.

She said the alleged rape was “extremely violent”, adding: “He pummelled me until I gave in and then raped me, making me do all sorts of things.”

Notably, two women have confirmed that Monnier spoke with them after the alleged attack and gave the same details.

Polanski has been repeatedly accused of being a serial abuser of girls and women. He remains a fugitive after admitting that he drugged and raped a 13-year-old girl at film star Jack Nicholson’s house in Los Angeles in 1977.

Polanski was also accused of sexual abuse in 2010 by British actress Charlotte Lewis when she was 16. Another woman in 2017 accused him for sexual assault when she was 16 in 1973. Former actress Renate Langer filed a new complaint in 2017 that she had been raped by Polanski in 1972 when she was 15.

The First Lady of France has forwarded the latest allegations to the government.

  1. They should extradite him, not for this one, but for the 13 yo he viciously attacked.

Hollywood is predatory central. I’ve seen some weird stuff and I only was trying Hollywood for 1.5 years and gave it up as quickly as I started.

If you find the right ppl, it’s easy to find your way to the right parties, which leads to celebrities, which lead to gigs/money/lavish vacations.

It’s a known fact most B listers and below moonlight as escorts. You think they all just happen to know Saudi princes…lol. And this includes male actors too. Don’t get it twisted.

I’ve seen celebrity children who are minors at adult parties acting like adults and no one blinks an eye.

It’s a dirty business….keep your kids away from it.

Congrats on leaping out of the cesspool and now that you’re free, here’s hoping for a revival of that Sodom and Gomorrah ending that Hollywood so loves but this time for itself. Roasted salt anyone? Amazing how karma, divine retribution or whatever arrives at just the opportune moment. My figurative marshmallows are ready.

      1. I think Melissa Joan Hart, aka Sabrina the Teenage Witch talked about her time in Hwood, 16 yo escapades. And then looking back and realizing how screwed up it was.

I am friends with a former Mickey Mouse club member, and no, its not Britney, Christina, Justin, or Ryan, but he is still good friends with Britney….

MMC sounds like an absolute nightmare. And then you wonder why Disney stars act so weird post Disney.

Wasn’t Judy Garlands like a tragedy?

        The industry never changes.

        1. Anonymous ops:
I have friends who represent some of these kids in business deals. Their stories are perverse but common. Your comment about the night moves of the B-listers is spot on. It’s a whore town with pimps in the office suites. I’d exile prisoners there but beyond that it’s worthless.

        2. Garland’s father died young (at 49). All three Gumm sisters had abbreviated lifespans (I think one might have made it to age 60). I don’t think they were robust to begin with. They had a suboptimal home life, as you might expect from people who had their children performing in vaudeville at single-digit ages. Garland herself once referred to her mother as ‘wicked’. I don’t think she was violated sexually, but her mother and studio officials did ply her with psychoactive drugs to keep her working on schedule, as well as compelling her to get an abortion for the same reason. (Her husband of the time was implicated in that).

That having been said, she continued quaffing pills for the next thirty-odd years, no matter what her work situation was. She married 5x, and she knew how to pick ’em. The fifth husband (probably) and the fourth (certainly) were homosexuals whom she married in some sort of bid to have a live-in social worker. Her 3d husband managed to keep her working, but also stole from her and frittered away her massive earnings. Her first three husbands, it should be noted, were between them married 11x and only the very first husband managed to build a fruitful and durable domestic life with anyone (not her). She was a great talent, but an incompetent human being. By and large, she was responsible for her misfortunes.

    2. Anonymous – I think the 13 yo has been bought off and is now saying he should not be tried at this late date. Not sure she would cooperate. Polanski is living in a country that does not extradition for rape.

      1. If I’m not mistaken, he already pleaded. He fled the jurisdiction before sentencing.

        1. DSS – you are correct, Polanski was waiting for sentencing and got cold feet. I think the victim didn’t want him punished at this late date. Poor wording and no coffee on my part.

  2. Maybe I am being nitpicky, but an alleged rape occurring 44 years ago can hardly be classified as “new”. And any alleged from purportedly occurring 40+ years ago short of murder is nonsense to bring up now. How can one even defend against such an allegation? It should be a crime to even utter it publicly.

    1. He was convicted but never served his sentence because he fled the jurisdiction. The latest allegations are just indications that his abuse of Samantha Gailey wasn’t a one-off.

      1. TIA:
And, of course, Polanski admitted to the facts of the tempered charges offered by a stars-in-his-eyes prosecutor. Stepheng doesn’t trifle with such banalities. He’s not “nitpicking” the facts, you see.

    2. stepheng20100 – you raise an interesting point, however there usually is not a statute of limitation of sex crimes. We have had the same problem with war criminals, however the line up for this would certainly be different since the defendant is famous.

      1. No, there’s a statute of limitations. It might apply to some charges contra Polanski, but not those in re Samantha Gailey. He’s been indicted on those (and IIRC, he entered a plea).

In re sex crimes, many state legislatures enacted extended statutes of limitations. One I’ve heard of allows an accuser until age 33 to bring a complaint against someone for a sexual violation in one’s youth.

  3. Commenters here might assume that Hollywood is run by an elite cabal. But in reality Hollywood is a never-ending game of musical chairs where power is constantly shifting.

Most of the powers running Hollywood today were not even born when Polanski last worked in Hollywood. Powers in this industry have always been quite youthful. Polanski himself was still fairly young when he first worked in Hollywood.

    1. John Burgoyne:
“Commenters here might assume that Hollywood is run by an elite cabal. But in reality Hollywood is a never-ending game of musical chairs where power is constantly shifting.”

Dream on, John. Forty percent of the country’s wealth is concentrated in 1% of the population. Hollywood is no different. They may let a new Pope emerge from time to time but the College Of Cardinals never changes.

      1. Olly, Hollywood is full of older producers and directors who no longer have the power to get their projects made.

      1. Thks Paul,

Just listen to Natacha Boozalot & Peter, they know nothing but the Facts.

Zaid is such a nice lawyer, he loves helping Pedos, American Hating Islamic CIA intel types & likes spending his free time stalking little kids by himself at Disney World.

BTW: If you could, stop hogging all that warm air out West there & send some back East, Kurtz & I are freezing the boys off here. It’s so cold that it’s to damned cold to put on our MEGA hats at 2am & go Lynch another Nappy haired Jew like Jessie Smolett type. lol;)

        1. Eric CIA – I would be happy to send you some of our summer 120 degree heat if I could figure out a way. Maybe the Great Weather Pipeline. In the meantime, I suggest a space heater. 😉

              1. Yale doesn’t admit just any ole head cropper Islamic pedo type from the lunatic factions of US intel into their facility.

BTW: They’re still attempting to figure out what went wrong with their volunteers Charlie Manson, Roman Polanski & the other ladies & gents. Oops, sorry not PC correct, I mean Its. LOL

Speaking of great news out of the land of fruits & nuts, now guys can just whip it out & pee on the “Man’s” shoe in San Fran.

And as has been the case you can still drop your drawers & crap anywhere you wish in Cali.

It’s such a lovely place, they’ve no doubt checked out, but we shouldn’t let them leave.

As always, if going out in Cali it’s recommended you wear a rain coat even if it’s sunny out!!! LOL

                    1. Steve P had real bona fides but spins out some really outrageous stuff.

“takes one to know one” lol

Steve P takes credit for taking down Pol Pot? what the hell is he talking about. It was the North Vietnamese army that took him down. Now that was about the end of 1978. Saloth Sar got whipped and had to run away in the jungle towards thailand. Certainly the US did not support the NVA at that time. nor did Steve P. craziness!

  4. Eric Ciaramella didn’t kill Jeffery Epstein. Don’t look at Eric Ciaamella & Schiff is a great guy.

  5. There will be no criminal legal consequences for the alleged crime, even if proven true. The alleged crime took place in Switzerland, which has a 20-year statute of limitations for such a crime. Switzerland is actually a very backward nation in many ways and only granted women the right to vote in 1971. As Orson Welles’s character Harry Lime put it in the classic movie “The Third Man, “In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, and they had 500 years of democracy and peace. And what did that produce? The cuckoo clock.”

    1. It’s just about the world’s most affluent country, has a homicide rate 1/10th of our own (0.5 per 100,000 v. 5.3 per 100,000); relies on a robust militia for its armed services, and has retained it’s independence (and it’s deliberative institutions) for 700 years. We should all be so ‘backward’.

      1. I did not say that Switzerland is backward in all ways, just some very important ones in a civilized society, in addition to the ones I referred to above. Switzerland, for example, is a well known haven for wealthy criminals. In 2018, the Tax Justice Network ranked Switzerland’s banking sector as the “most corrupt” in the world due to a large offshore banking industry and very strict secrecy laws, providing substantial protection for criminals operating from there. And more comprehensive laws were only recently enacted in Switzerland to address the burgeoning Swiss bribery industry.

        1. jamescfeldman – the Swiss are still holding on to a lot of Nazi gold and Jewish deposits that relatives are unable to reclaim because the originator died during WWII and the hoops that Swiss banks make one go through to prove oneself is onerous.

        2. I did not say that Switzerland is backward in all ways, just some very important ones in a civilized society,

The problem here isn’t Switzerland, it’s you. Switzerland resisted women’s suffrage because women don’t serve in the militia. And they don’t serve in the militia for a reason.

  6. Is a polanski a Polish name for a sausage?
Is a roma sausage one that slides on to the TV screen?

  7. Roman Polanski: Hollywood liberals’ favorite child rapist….because nothing says artistic expression quite like drugging a thirteen-year-old girl with Quaalude then sodomizing her.

  8. Every Hollywood personality, each time appearing on TV, ought to be asked straight out whether he or she considers Polanski a “rape-rapist” or just a “rapist.”

      1. the camera focused in on Scorcese because he easily should have won for GANGS OF NEW YORK

a masterwork of art in every sense

I never saw that other movie by Polanski and probably none of his over rated socalled films

        1. of course even Polanski hates the press. from wiki, speaking about the murder of Sharon Tate:

“Polanski was also left with a very negative impression of the press, which he felt was interested in sensationalizing the lives of the victims, and indirectly himself, to attract readers. He was shocked by the lack of sympathy expressed in various news stories:

I had long known that it was impossible for a journalist to convey 100 percent of the truth, but I didn’t realize to what extent the truth is distorted, both by the intentions of the journalist and by neglect. I don’t mean just the interpretations of what happened; I also mean the facts. The reporting about Sharon and the murders was virtually criminal. Reading the papers, I could not believe my eyes. I could not believe my eyes! They blamed the victims for their own murders. I really despise the press. I didn’t always. The press made me despise it.[30]”

truth is like an onion, with layers. the truth about our rotten mass media stinks like a rotten onion that turns browner and sicker as you go deeper to the core.

      2. he couldnt come to america to claim his prize because he’s a convicted rapist

in any general population yard in prison they would slash his face for starters

what do you make of a country–
when the general population of prisoners has more decency than its mass media?

        1. also from wiki about how he raped a 13 year old. 13 is not 17; she was no buxom full grown woman; and he was nowhere near her age. So don’t tell me that was “just statutory rape,” not at all, that’s not what the facts said.

and how does a full grown man rape a 13 year old and scum like Whoopi Goldberg on the awful show the View say “it wasnt rape rape”?!!

“On 11 March 1977, three years after making Chinatown, Polanski was arrested at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel for the sexual assault of 13-year-old Samantha Gailey. Gailey had modeled for Polanski during a Vogue photoshoot the previous day around the swimming pool at the Bel Air home of Jack Nicholson.[126][127] Polanski was indicted on six counts of criminal behavior, including rape.[124][128] At his arraignment, he pleaded not guilty to all charges. Many executives in Hollywood came to his defense.[129] Gailey’s attorney arranged a plea bargain in which five of the six charges would be dismissed, and Polanski accepted.[130]

As a result of the plea bargain, Polanski pleaded guilty to the charge of “unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor” …. [he thought he was going to get “psychiatric treatment and then skipped out to France because he heard a rumor the judge was going to send him to prison, where he would have received actual punishment for his crimes]

also from wiki, he’s married to a woman 33 years younger than him

yes he is a total evil pedophile rapist and those who defend him are scum

          1. You poor dear; tRump’s sexual improprieties doesn’t upset you but misguided applause triggers you. Maybe there is a pill you can take for that.

    1. Be careful Paul. Other commenters here might accuse you of being a “leftie”. When I’m asked to comment on stories about Polanski, my response is always the same: “I wouldn’t touch that story with a five foot Pole.”

    1. Calfornia prisoners slay sex offenders in their ranks at twice the national rate. California judges want to help the poor ones stay alive. Who do they serve?

      https://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-sex-offenders-20180209-story.html

      By ASSOCIATED PRESS

Reporting from Sacramento — California must consider earlier parole for potentially thousands of sex offenders, maybe even those convicted of pimping children, a state judge said Friday.
Sacramento County Superior Court Judge Allen Sumner preliminarily ordered prison officials to rewrite part of the regulations for Proposition 57. The 2016 ballot measure allows consideration of earlier parole for most state prison inmates, but Gov. Jerry Brown promised voters all sex offenders would be excluded.

That goes too far, Sumner said in rejecting Deputy Atty. Gen. Maria Chan’s argument that the ballot measure gave state officials broad discretion to exclude any class of offenders whose release might harm public safety.

“If the voters had intended to exclude all registered sex offenders from early parole consideration under Proposition 57, they presumably would have said so,” Sumner said.

He said the scope of exclusions should be narrowed to only those now serving time for a violent sex offense. And he said the Corrections Department must better define what falls into that category.

The judge said those who already served their time for a sex crime, even a violent one, and now are imprisoned for a different crime should be eligible for early release.

That could allow earlier parole for more than half of the 20,000 sex offenders now serving time, said Janice Bellucci, a Sacramento attorney and president of California Reform Sex Offender Laws. Her lawsuit on behalf of sex offenders argued that the rules conflict with the ballot measure’s language and voters’ intent in approving Proposition 57.

Bellucci argued the measure requires earlier parole consideration for any sex crime not on the state’s narrow list of 23 violent felonies, which includes murder, kidnapping and forcible rape.

That could allow earlier parole for those convicted of raping a drugged or unconscious victim, intimately touching someone who is unlawfully restrained, incest, pimping a minor, indecent exposure and possessing child pornography…..”

      CALIFORNIA, HOME OF HOLLYWOOD
      SICKEST STATE IN THE NATION
A PLACE WHERE THE PRISONERS SEEM MORE DECENT THAN THE JUDGES

  9. No clue why Mme. Macron would be ‘forwarding’ anything.

Guess what? Polanski stands at the intersection of Hollywood decadence and French decadence. That should cause some reflection among the people who assured us twenty years ago that we were all rubes for objecting to sexual misbehavior. If they ever reflected on anything going on outside their own skin. Prosecuting these offenses is likely time-barred. The man has a life expectancy of about six years. Tell it to his biographers.

    1. Polanski is a disgusting person.

The fact that he has never been brought to justice is a commentary on the left’s tolerance for crime by its followers.

The lefties in Hollywood tolerate almost anything when it is one of their own.

      1. No, it’s a commentary on the French court system. A much more egregious case was that of Ira Einhorn.

Polanski fled because he’d got wind that the presiding judge in his case (who ran his mouth in his clubs about confidential matters) was going to hit him with a draconian sentence. This at a time when California courts were famously lax. You need to take away a great deal of the discretion judges and prosecutors now enjoy, and make them subject to civil suits over their conduct.

        1. they did do that in federal courts, it’s called the Uniform Guidelines, they were a Republican initiative.

California has long been infested with too many fools who don’t believe in the concept of evil in the first place.

Mostly, that’s people who have never suffered it, or are party to it so they want to pretend it doesnt exist. So they can let themselves off the hook. Were it not for all the good people still captive in that Babylon, I would want to see Poseidon shake the earth and drop it off into the sea. People who still live there should ask themselves, how long can you hold back that day of Judgment?

          https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2019/10/17/california-earthquake-garlock-fault-ridgecrest-movement-8-0-magnitude-study/4014328002/

The righteous should leave this Sodom post haste and never look back.

          1. I oversimplified that remark about the UFSG but it’s too complicated to explain short of a major essay.

So let that fellow “Mark” who used to call us all rubes come back and lay out the details, it’s his bailiwick anyways.

Oh wait he slithered off a whiles ago…. forget it.

        2. I’d never heard of Ira Einhorn, but according to Wiki he was born into a middle-class family and was involved in ecological issues. So he wasn’t rich like Jeffrey Epstein and he wasn’t a Hollywood type like Polanski. So where did he get the money to fight extradition from France for 17 (?) years? He must have had supporters to help him financially, but why?

          1. He was a satisfactory con man. Getting wealthy people to subsidize him was his great talent.

                1. liberals can’t stand to read a thing like what slim wrote. it’s too strong, too real, to hard, and it shows how they are the whole lot of them, just so many MARKS.

you wonder why so many hip hop artists took names honoring Slim? Ice T Ice Cube, etc. it wasnt just where they came from; it was where they were going!

                  1. Mr Kurtz – to be honest, I do not follow thee hip hop artists so I really do not care why they took their names. 😉

      2. Maybe “disgusting” exists only in the mind of the perceiver. Lefties-Wefties, Jesus…Rapists are wicked people. Polanski was never brought to justice because he was out of the country. What’s that got to do with the left or it’s supposed -I guess in your mind- tolerance for rape and rapists? Which is of course ridiculous. Like YAY RAPISTS!…The “lefties in Hollywood” have their own glossy culture of which you probably know nothing first hand, just like righties in Monument have theirs. Honestly I’d rather live in Monument with my little Sig. Now speaking of toleration, how do you tolerate a man who has committed a federal felony attempting to feather his own political nest while extorting a foreign leader by holding back military aid? And was worried Russia would be upset by the aid? As will be so clearly proven. See the game for what it is. Not lefties vs righties.
